I was not having such a good day. I pulled an all-nighter, still had to scrap everything and start rewriting code from scratch yesterday morning, barely finished the program in time and then still couldn't get output. Couldn't get any error messages either. No idea why it doesn't work. According to the compiler it should work fine. >.<
So all that and an automatic loss of a third of the points for the assignment because I had no output. *sigh* And now I get to do hours and hours of calculus so I can get it out of the way so I can spend the weekend studying for an Ochem exam...shoot me now. :/
Well, in theory our calc prof is coming back this week. I'll believe it when I see it. But if it does happen I might be able to get my schedule back under control again. It takes a lot longer to learn calculus without a teacher.

Need a Lyn ruling on whether Fei's champion aura is stacking or not. He has it as a morale bonus, but if this is the case it won't stack with Ehos' song.
I'm ruling that Fei's bonuses are their own type, much like Keme's. So call it a courage bonus and yes, it stacks.

My computer won't turn on again. A friend managed to get it to turn on, but when I got home and tried to turn it on there, I found that it had gone from standby to turned off and wouldn't turn back on.
That sucks. :(

Have you checked the power settings in windows? There will be setting that tell it what to do when the lid is shut. Default is shutdown, iirc.

Made a CR 8 "Terra" Hydra for the 9th level Halloween game I was co-DMing and it got taken out in one round, by one spell, and was promptly turned into a Skeleton Terra Hydra.
Frigid Touch is overpowered.

Alright, guys, I do want to apologize for virtually disappearing of late. School is a big contributing factor, but there have also been some things going on in my personal life that have been choking out all of my creativity. One way or another the disaster that has been my personal life for the past three years is in the process of changing, although I'm not really sure where things are going to fall when all is said and done. But transformation takes a lot of effort and attention, so I'm probably going to be pretty scarce for a while still. So I wanted to apologize for my absence, reiterate that it is temporary and ask that you please be patient with me while I am attending to my mental and emotional health and figuring out where to go from here. Sorry for the vagueness, but I've learned the hard way the dangers of oversharing on the internet. I'm trying not to repeat mistakes. I mean, why when there are so many new ones waiting to be made. ;P

Well, I'm not quite back yet, though planning on starting posting again in the next couple of weeks. I'm guessing things will be a bit slow getting restarted. And you know we can always have folks step into the background for a bit.
I'd like to drop back in, but I just really have no idea what's going on. I mean, Vakkler came back and almost everybody was doing that whole army thing. And a good few of the teachers (and the Headmaster) seemed to be doing their own things as well. So I just kind of faded right back out. :P
I can bring in my count character if you want Cleaver, I did not see this post till today so odd.
Alright, guys, I am trying to get caught back up on where things got left off and will start the combat back up with a recap of what's going on so far. I think it was the Infernal Engine's turn anyways.
In the meantime, my intent is to finish out this combat and then wrap up whatever stray threads are left before wrapping up this term and starting a second term. Let me know what if anything you have left to wrap up, if any of your characters are graduating, and if they will be joining the staff after graduation or leaving the school. We can bring in new characters as the new term starts.
I know what I have left for the current semester is some stuff involving the elementary school getting started, Sadie's little brother arriving, and Kitty and Michael were supposed to visit her family for a weekend. Oh, and courtesy of the war games, Tyrrin is going to get a crash course in leadership and student council from Jiminy and Nala since she a) wants it so bad and b) has somehow convinced the pack to not only support her but actually listen to her without using compulsion magic. :)
Ephebe is being given early graduation as soon as the war game is over in order to free her up to get the school going for the little ones. At the end of the term Jiminy, Fieri, Dennis, Nala, Ursula, Rintol and Borin will all be graduating. Fieri and Nala will be joining the teaching staff and Jiminy will probably teach part-time when he isn't busy with that factory he's been building in town.
As for me, Wyrd will be continuing under Ananda's tutelage in his mastery of earth and trying to learn better control of his temper. Phaezeriel will be wanting to continue to learn from Ryleh, but would be willing to take on teaching psionics to students who show that inclination; though he would be reluctant to be a full teacher.
When the new term starts, Kezzin will be joining us. He is a young, arrogant, and confused dragonwrought kobold.

I don't think they're locked. They never have been before. Well, maybe when the WInter Queen was attacking, but that's about it. :)
