Valeros hits once.
Purple at -27, Green at -6.

James puts out the last of the flames.
I think I might have forgotten the spread to adjacent squares effect, but you guys hit those checks out of the park so even if it had spread I think you'd have handled it.

I don't think Valeros gets a flanking bonus or Dirty Fighter, since as far as I know Deluge does not have a weapon out.

Round 2

Morka
Valeros -9
James
Merisiel -4 (Unconscious, Prone, Disarmed; may make DC 17 Fort as full-round action to awaken)

Agreed. It would be a bit much for Deluge to put out fires with a weapon in hand.
Now that the fires have all been put out, Deluge takes a step back and points at the purple clad pyromaniac. He twirls his finger and a miniature storm cloud appears over his head complete with miniature lightning bolts and violent winds.

If this gets within a foot of the guard, next round Fethril will cast Animate Rope.

Deluge's Storm Burst just misses - these Ifrit are quick.

    Merisiel awakens.

Fethril's rope lands where he intends.

Valeros, you moved into Merisiel's square when she was unconscious, and now she is conscious. You will need to step out of her space on your next turn to avoid taking squeezing penalties.

"Stay down!" shouts one of the Ifrit to Merisiel, kicking her as she starts to move.

Having rallied the Oreads and partially sabotaged Tygora’s army, you are now ready to move on Fury's Hold.

The Oreads assemble and begin sweeping through Crystalcrag. A large number move towards the Barracks, forcing the posted guards inside and then barricading the doors. One cantankerous older Oread draws off some of Tygora's fire elemental guards by hurling bottles of water at them and then burrowing into the ground when they come near.

"Well, I'm sure we would rather NOT enter by the front gates, so shall we scale the walls somewhere?"

I also forgot to set up my daily spells. Deluge casts Longstrider on himself.

"Say, James, before we head on in would you mind terribly if I made your skin as tough as bark? It can be a little itchy and definitely is unsightly, but it is just the thing if you expect folks to be swinging weapons at you."

I gotta get me a sap...or I can just hit them with Valeros' thick skull..it's pretty solid. the rogue jests with a playful punch to his shoulder.thanks for taking care of that guy. Have to remember to keep my fists up.

I can scout around, if you like. Might not hurt to see is there is any defenses we don't know about...

Deluge picks a small piece of bark out of his spell component bag (not to be confused with his goodie bag - *shudder*), says a few arcane words, and gestures, arcanely of course, at James. As promised Hame's skin roughens and hardens and Deluge smiles with satisfaction as he starts to look more like a tree.

    "There!"

Less chance that I will have to join them up front!

He then DOES reach into his goodie bag, snags a couple of dried shrimp, and pops them into his mouth with gusto.

I think it would be fair to give anyone hunting Deluge by scent a bonus. If PFS did allow drawbacks, I think I'd look for one like that :)

"Ah... thanks for the healing Fethril! I can see from me left eye again. Oh, and Meri: I agree about the sap; let's go get one if we see a shop on the way ok?"

It is no problem for all of you to get saps. Enough of the Oreads have them in expectation of this event happening.

There is really no other way than the road to get to Fury's Hold.

And there is no way inside the palace other than the front door (inside the courtyard).

While you could possibly scale the curtain wall into the courtyard someplace other than the main gate, as soon as you approach within 60' of the gate, something happens.

From two burning braziers atop the gate, tendrils of flame reach down and take on vaguely humanoid forms.

They shout at you in a language you do not understand. As you do not leave (and they cannot understand you), they move to attack!

These are not Ifrit, so nobody in Crystalcrag cares about them.

With the roar of a raging inferno, the fire-creatures dash forward and strike at James and Valeros.

    Attack James, Charge: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 2 = 15
    James easily dodges.

    Attack Valeros, Charge: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 12 + 2 = 21
Valeros does not. I really hate the flat-footed rule, especially when you actually are aware of your foes. Sorry.
    Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
    Valeros Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Valeros takes a minor burn as the creature strikes him, but he is able to avoid catching on fire.

No sap for Deluge. He would not know what to do with it. Druids are weird that way.

Deluge takes a step back and starts casting summon nature's ally II (spontaneously using up the flaming sphere spell he has memorized - can't see that spell coming in handy).
