James took a few hits if I recall correctly.

The most Nethys symbol on the oread is his quarterstaff, covered in the sigils of the god of magic and well kept He also has a few scrolls on him.

Sal winces as he tries to shrug, "They were looking for a book I sold. I told them that I gave it to a Pathfinder Society agent that was staying at Sharrowsmith's exports. Luckily you got them all before they could leave and tell whatever bosses they have. Thanks again for saving my skin. I was supposed to skip town a while ago, but heard about some nice trade connections from my family. Hopefully a cousin will be able to take me in until those League guys are gone, they give me the willies."

Before heading back to the lodge I forgot to add this part.

Kavor:
One of the exchange's goals for this particular season was expansion into the Mwangi Expanse. Sal here may be able to provide contacts for the Exchange, but to do so you'll have to convince him with a DC 20 Bluff, Diplomacy, or Intimidate check.

You get back to the lodge and it still continues to stand proudly. Getting to the back and finding the Zenj armor you slot in the diamond and give it life once more. Now that both guardians are activated this lodge will be much safer.

What's next? Planting more rumors? Talking with Aya? Waiting to see if the Technic League begins an assault?

The staff is just a pretty, masterwork quarterstaff. The potions, scrolls, and wand are potion of cure moderate wounds, potion of invisibility, scroll of delay poison, scroll of disguise self, scroll of heroism, and wand of remove fear (7 charges)

Honestly you guys have been getting low rolls on all of the potentially super time consuming things to do, which has resulted in this (relative) abundance of time with all the major things crossed off the list of things to get done.

You guys don't know if or when the Technic League will attack. All that you guys really have to do is spread more rumors (more difficult now). This is partially because you got ridiculously lucky rolls on the random time stuff, and partially because your skill rolls to reduce the time were great.

Yes, I think so. I had debated switching into my armor, but I still have quite a few V/S spells prepared, and have my floating +2 to Dex today rather than Str, so will stay in "wizard mode."

Which room do we need to keep them out of? A15? Do we know how to get the guardians to move and react or are they stuck in their rooms. James plan unless told otherwise is to collect the guardian in and meet up in A8 while someone else gets the other. I believe it is a move action to open a door so I am stopped at the door after moving 55'

James' attack is stopped by some force just in front of the man, who seems to be focusing very hard on a tuning fork in his hand. He is slightly distracted by Fethril's missile, but yells at his compatriots, "It is close, that book must be destroyed!"

He moves forward, completely ignoring the range of James' scythe before stopping at the outside wall of the vault. "It is beyond here! I will open the wall then we move in and destroy it!"

The Zenj armor moves into the room, and seeing an enemy of the lodge advances to the Gearsman construct and begins to engage it.

Kavor Doan moves into room A4 (move), opens the secret door to room A6 (move), and commands the wood golem (free) to "Open that door and attack any who are not Pathfinders!"

Not the most precise command, but Kavor Doan can't see what is going on. He can direct the golem more precisely next round.


In an effort to determine if the door opens to the book the nearby mercenary cracks the door on the other side of the room the wood golem is in open. When no books or shelves make themselves apparent he steps towards James, swinging to knock the big man's feet from under him with a guisarme.

James barely clears the blade swinging for his legs before resetting his stance.

In the opened room the wood golem groans to life. It moves out the door and immediately starts attacking the first enemy it sees, the sorceress barking commands at the others.

Here the wood golem would normally use its splintering ability because so many enemies are nearby, but it'll hit Kavor and James (who would get a +2 bonus to the reflex save because of the wall). I'm going to roll the damage and reflex saves for the enemies, but if you don't want it to do the ability just let me know and those rolls will be washed out.

When the golem is unphased she curses harder, "A golem?! These rutting bastards! You!" she calls to the mercenary tangling with James. "Take this thing out, I'll handle the man."

Kelris rushes in after the thunderclap from the lightning, moving to stop the mercenary from going after the golem.

Opportunity Trip!: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

He draws the mercenary's attention, but doesn't fall from the swipe at his legs, instead working his halberd towards the enemy.

Slash!: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 10 - 2 = 13

Having to defend himself and attack again so quickly in succession gives waver to his aim, allowing the mercenary to slip outside of the halberd's reach.

I am okay with the golem using the Splintering, but as James is planning on being in melee, I will leave the choice to him. That is a lot of damage even for him if he fails the save.

If James wants the golem to use Splintering:

Reflex vs Splintering, DC 14: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 25 damage taken

Reflex vs Lighting Bolt, DC 17, Dwarf: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 2 = 27 14 damage
