Lasereater manages to disrupt the door mechanism from activating an alarm while Val'nor hacks the biometric sensor. The drones round the far end of the garrison and you can hear them approaching through the fog. Val'nor works his computer interface furiously -- and succeeds! The panel flashes green and the heavy double doors slide open.

This room beyond is sparsely furnished but well illuminated. Single doors to the north and east are each painted with bright green lettering. The south wall bears several holovid screens displaying a detailed composite map of Madelon’s Landing, with heavy annotations scrolling beneath each building. A computer panel fits snugly beneath the screens on a sleek foldout shelf.

Two Azlanti soldiers loiter in the room, one sitting by the computer and the other is tuning her rifle. The latter glances up and her eyes go wide. She shouts a warning in the Azlanti tongue.

Round One: Bast, Val'nor, Azlanti, Lasereater, Blax-9

Bast overcharges his forked pistol and blasts the Azlanti trooper at the terminal. The surprised woman starts to stand up but Val'nor rushes in, makes a feint and smashes her over the head with his tactical baton. She crumbles to the floor.

The other Azlanti's shouts something angry as his companion falls. He rushes to her side and fires his rifle at Val'nor, point blank. Still off-balance by the sudden combat, the shot misses.

Unless this is some special kind of grenade the rules show that everyone gets a reflex save

Grenades are thrown weapons that detonate in an explosive radius when they reach the target. A grenade's listing on Table 7-7: Grenades shows its explosion radius.

Some grenades have additional effects, such as blinded or entangled, that apply only to creatures in the explosion radius that fail a Reflex save against the grenade. The DC of the save is equal to 10 + half the grenade's item level + your Dexterity modifier. Any penalty you take to your attack roll also applies to this save DC.

Is the map not showing for you? Its on the bottom right corner if you have to scroll down/over. The new maps use dynamic lighting, but everyone should be able to see the rooms that you are in. Also, make sure you're on the correct Roll20 campaign.

Blax-9 hunkers down to rest while Lasereater and Bast cover the doors. Val'nor checks out the computer terminal. Unfortunately, the interface is entirely in Azlanti, making it extremely difficult to navigate. Val'nor is able to fumble through using icons and inferred meanings. He does not find any usable (or readable) data, but learns how to manipulate the holographic map of the colony.

Val'nor is also able to bring up a map of the garrison, but only a general layout of the structure. Map added to Roll20.

The markings beside each door are in Azlanti script, but without a translator you can only guess at their meaning.

While resting up, Blax-9 checks the Azlanti bodies. On one, he finds a frag grenade. They each had an imperial pacification rifle and survival knife. Otherwise, both wear the same plate armor.

When ready, you open up the east door. This spacious mess room has four stacked and folded metal tables positioned along the south wall. Several colorful, stylized posters adorn also the walls. Two doors lie to the west (the northern of which you came through), both labeled with vivid green Azlanti letters, and a 2-foot-square serving window that looks into a kitchen to the west. A door in the north wall also bears green lettering, as does a door in a rounded section of the east wall. A small electronic panel next to the eastern door is equipped with a numbered keypad, a yellow light, and a camera lens.

The kitchen is tidy, contains a sink connected to a large vat of water, an electric stove, and several shelves of prepackaged foodstuffs.
