I think this opens into a discussion on alignment.
I have been playing Venkru as similar to a samurai, which makes him lawful in general.
The other axis is more neutral than good or evil....
Almost missed this.
Kloh is pretty much neutral with a very slight lean towards chaotic and evil but only in regards to doing whatever it takes to stay alive and get paid. Career criminal through and through.

As for Jaira's alignment, she is neutral with leanings toward lawfulness. She is a decent sort who happens to care little for legalities so she doesn't mind many criminal acts though the truly rotten folks are detested by her. If she hadn't been born into starship captaincy she probably would've become an assassin hunting exclusively the baddest of bad folks.

Venkru - do you have the Arms and Equipment guide? There's a couple of sets of Medium armor in there that look interesting.
if anyone else has their mind set on something that isn't in the Core Rulebook let me know and I'll see what A&E has.

The AV - 1 scout armor is my base for the upgrades.
Wookieepedia lists a lot of information, but not the DR or penalties.
It is light enough to use unpowered, though the servomotors enhance strength when on...though I could not tell how much.
Kloh if you can look up the info Wookieepedia is missing I will get to work on the armor.

I guess I will make an armor minus the power servos which I can add in the future. The other things seem doable. The helmet is one part, the weapons are another, I found some things I really like, but can't find the mechanics for the whipcord launcher, the flame throwers...

I might see if our GM would allow me to "purchase" the scout armor, including all the parts, and take out (and later re-install) the components that make the armor "powered".
I think it will make for ease of bookkeeping on both our parts.
One of the armors features is it is still usable if the power is shut down.

the most powerfull is the Greff-Timms Industrial Type A Pulse-Wave Rifle
it does 3d8 + 3 but only has a range of 10m
the next is the Core World Arms Pulse-Blast Rifle
it does 3d8 + 2 and has a range of 20m
both crit on 19-20 and neither has Multi or Autofire functions. Theyre considered 'archaic'
there is the BlasTech 500 "ESPO" Riot Gun
it does 3d8 + 1, Range 30m, crits 19-20 and has both Multi and Auto fire and a Stun setting
but wait! There's more! May I interest you in the Merr-Sonn Underslung Rotary Blaster Carbine?
it packs a whopping 3d8 + 3 damage, Range 30m, crits on 19-20 and only fires in Multi or Auto

Things that can be modified on a weapon. Depending on which Type of weapon there are limits as to how many of these can be done. There are also Personalizations if anyone is interested. Which mean that the Mods only work for the individual the weapon is geared for.
- Increase Range by half of base range rounded down to nearest even number (ie, 10m would become 14m)
- Increase damage by +1. This incurs a -1 to attack.
- Increase accuracy. +1 to attack which incurs a -1 to damage.
- Expand threat range by 1
- Reduce weapon weight by half.
- Lesson weapon multifire penalty by 1
- Lesson weapon Rapid Fire penalty by 1
- Increase the Stun DC by 2
- Make weapon more durable. Increasing Hardness by 2 and wound points by 2
typical weapon modification DC = 15
Max # of Modifications/ Pistols = 2 & Rifles = 1
Max # of Personalizations/ Pistols = 3 & Rifles = 2

So by scrapping the meduim suit of armor and my existing armor, my newest upgrade idea for mandelorian armor is the equivalent of medium battle armor +1 for 12 K of my cash.
The look is going to be similar to the classic Mandelorian shock trooper armor of the fett's with the inclusion of a cape.
Other seperate items to be taken from the remaining credits.
Awaiting DM approval/nod/thumbs up!

We still have alot to repair on the droideka, we focused on the shields because other repairs seemed pointless. We still have the blaster array, the targeting system, the armor, and some other things to repair on that particular droid.
Battle droid, might as well duct tape a blaster on outofire to an object..... or put out a security net.

So leveling wise I think I am going to eventually go bounty hunter.
I am thinking that next level I will be going scout, the progression is listed in my profile.
Waiting on DM nod on last armor upgrade idea.
Think I have found my weapon upgrade in the Underslung!
Other gear still a work in progress.
In downtime we should also do some repair work on the ship and droideka.

So I added both of my upgrades armor and the underslung to my character sheet.
As well as some other new gear, my comm link is now in my helmet.
I guess Venkru is leveled and ready to go.
We still need to check the junk area, repair the droideka/ship, purchase the astromech, discuss other droids, and settle in with our newest help.

Yep. we have lots to do and hopefully we get some serious down time to accomplish it all. Really digging the slave auction RP and can see getting into the day to day of everything we want to do. Kloh is looking at some Concussion missiles for the ship...which will need a new name by the way...
