Falchion power attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 +2 if Sarge can maneuver into a flank with someone.
damage: 2d4 + 9 ⇒ (1, 3) + 9 = 13

Let's say, Kyra.

Oh, aravashniel then.

Spooky GM |

Horgus lets out a surprised, shocked howl, and Anevia starts trying to steer the blind man she's leading away from the attacking monsters.
Said monsters screech in pain as they're strucked by Asmodea and Sarge, hit pretty hard but for the moment still standing. They shiver a little and then begin to flutter upward, off to safety and away from you.
Asmodea, Sarge, and Iolana, you all get attacks of opportunity against the flying monsters as they retreat move. Use them as you make your posts.
Everyone's up.

Sergeant Jackram Hughes |

I forgot to include Inspire Courage in the attack above, so it should have done one more damage.
Attack of opportunity: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 = 8
Sarge whiffs on his strike at the fleeing creature.

Xanaphia Hancock |

Once the creatures are safely out of reach Xanaphia casts a sleep spell on the one furthest from any of her companions so that if the spell effects more than one target the second target will be one of the things.
Sleep spell DC16 4hd of creatures
after casting the spell she backs up behind Asmodea so there is someone with a sharp pointy thing between her and being attacked again

Spooky GM |

Will Save 1: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Will Save 1: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Two of the Darkmantles quickly fall from the cieling before they're able to attack again, floating slowly down as their limp forms spread open enough for the wind to catch them on their leathery flaps. It's enough to keep them from striking the floor too hard, but they still take a bit of a nasty fall.
Fall damage 1: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Fall damage 2: 1d6 ⇒ 4
The latter is the one Asmodea took a swing at, and the pain from the fall is enough that it is no longer merely sleeping, a sickening splat sound coming along with its limp flop down onto the floor. The other is not too well off either, but the fall is the only pain it's incurred thus far as it shivers and wakes up, in a bit of a panic as its momentary slumber sent it back into danger's way. The heavily bleeding victim of Sarge's vicious swing remains up on the cieling, biding its time.
Unless Asmodea manages to finish off her target with the AOO. This post is in a bit of a limbo state on the assumption she doesn't. If she does, Sarge's got the splatter death and there's only one Darkmantle, remaining.

Iolana Torlinni |

As the creatures fly up, Iolana smacks the one no one had hit yet with her light mace.
lightmace: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 211d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
This is if there are any still up and we don't just leave the area.
If the last one is still in the air
Iolana drops her whip and mace, and draws her shortbow, firing off a shot at the flying creature.
shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 131d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
If it has come down to the ground.
Iolana attacks the cloak like creature with her mace.
light mace: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 91d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Kyra Altreas |

Well dang, Kyra might not even get to slash anything this time.

Asmodea Jaegarre |

I apologize for being a little late. I've been posting in the evenings this week as I've been sick. 8(
AoO: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 212d4 + 6 ⇒ (4, 3) + 6 = 13
A mighty swing from the paladin's falchion finishes the creature and Asmodea looks around the room quickly to ascertain any new threats.

Kyra Altreas |

Kyra, seeing that there's only one darkmantle left, will attempt to charge it, if possible. She rushes the fallen creature with her longsword, letting out a small war cry in the form of a "Raagh!"
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 ...*Sigh* This is going to be a recurring theme throughout this campaign, isn't it?

Kyra Altreas |

Attack!: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11 ...Methinks I need a higher attack bonus. -w-;
Damage, in the off chance that it hits: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Iolana Torlinni |

Well, since it seems to be back to us again, might as well post my action should it matter.
"Get back here you flying freak!" She stops dancing, draws another arrow and shoots at the cloaker again.
Performance ended.
shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d6 ⇒ 6
Wow, so much for actually hitting things.

Sergeant Jackram Hughes |

You know you can still maintain a performance as a free action and attack, right, Iolana? If you're ending it to conserve rounds, totally fine, makes sense.
Sarge also switches to a bow and fires an arrow.
shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
damage if that hits: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Iolana Torlinni |

Yeah, I know, it is to conserve rounds, down to three and who knows when we will get the chance to get these kind of things back.

Sergeant Jackram Hughes |

Ok just checking. I've played with some people who weren't familiar with the changes to Bardic performance from 3.5 to PFRPG.

Asmodea Jaegarre |

Asmodea waits patiently for the others to bring the duskmantle down. She holds her action until the aberration leaves its shelter, after which she will attack it.
Held Action Power Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 132d4 + 5 ⇒ (3, 1) + 5 = 9

Kyra Altreas |

Kyra runs back about 15 feet, waiting for another chance to strike the creature, finding her sword arm lacking today.

Sergeant Jackram Hughes |

Jackram bellows, "OH NO YOU DON'T! GERROFF HER!" as he dashes in and slices the offending creature in twain.
power attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Confirmation: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
crit damage: 4d4 + 18 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 1) + 18 = 23

Iolana Torlinni |

"Nicely played Kyra, you lured it right where we needed it to be for Sarge to...I think 'kill it' is a bit of an understatement. I don't know about the rest of you, but I could use a rest."
How long have we been down here anyway, other than several hours, not really sure how much time has passed.

Xanaphia Hancock |

" I am still able to press on, but the rest of you have been fighting more than me, and it won't be much help if we get to the surface to worn out to help.
Do we have enough food and water to stop and rest without running out?"
I still have 4 spells left , but thats because I was not around for the earlier combats, so nearly at full strength

Kyra Altreas |

"I would...I would very much appreciate resting... I am still tired from cleaning the temple, after all." Kyra says, trying to catch her breath after another ordeal of a battle. She finally sheathes her longsword, though she does not sit down just yet for fear of appearing weak.

Asmodea Jaegarre |

"How about we stay here long enough for the most exhausted of us to nap. If we stay ten hours then surely everyone can get the rest they need? The rest of us can keep watch. How does that sound?"
If two people need to regain spells, the rest of us can do two hour watches and then move on with spells renewed.

Iolana Torlinni |

Looking at the exhausted Kyra, "It sounds like a plan then." Moving to Kyra's side, Iolana helps her sit down Assuming Kyra accepts the help to sit, and then drops gracefully into a seat beside her for the moment.
Not so much spells, more the performance rounds, though the spell back would be nice too. I can always take a two hour at the beginning or end of the rest period.

Xanaphia Hancock |

With the decision made to rest Xanaphia will move to help Avarashniel and Aniva get comfortable and make sure they get some food and water.
"I'll volunteer to take first watch , I'm not particularly tired yet, but if I can I'll get a full 8 hours rest as it will let me recharge my magic. I am afraid I can't provide any magical lights so we'll need torches or something while Iolana rests"

Iolana Torlinni |

I guess it is up to you guys, we can keep going and rest later if we have to taking a few minutes to catch our breathes won't hurt though.

Kyra Altreas |

I guess we can keep going, that's fine.

Sergeant Jackram Hughes |

"I think we oughta press on, this doesn't look like a good place for a camp as far as I'm concerned. The temple might be, and if we need to backtrack to it, we can, but I'd rather keep going."

Kyra Altreas |

"Then we push forward again..." she says. She nods her head and draws both her sword and shield, following the group carefully.
