Kyra Altreas |

"I really don't like the look of that light..." Kyra whispers as she takes a look around this particular area for anything she might've missed.
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 11

Sergeant Jackram Hughes |

Sarge takes a loose rock and tosses it down the path with the glow, aiming to have the rock land as near as possible to the glow. ranged attack with improvised weapon: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 3 - 4 = 7 A square has a AC of 5 so that ought to get it there unless it's more than 20 ft away.

Iolana Torlinni |

"So, who wants to go into the bright freaky light first?" Iolana starts quietly humming an eerie tune as she follows along.
The tune sounds an awful lot like that from the twilight zone.

Spooky GM |

The opening leads down a small, curved path, to a somewhat larger cavern. A single 20-foot-tall building remains in the center of this 30-foot-high cave, a bunkerlike structure with no windows and walls of worked stone blocks. 10-foot--long carving of a hammer decorates the building's facade, and the ruins of collapsed outbuildings stand on either side. The glow seems to be coming from the building in its entirety.
As you stare at it, three giant flies emerge from the ruin, drawn by the sounds of footsteps. These pallid insects look to be of the same breed as the maggots you put down earlier, O Holy Roach Roasters.
Alexander's Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Amanda's Initative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Asmodea's Initative: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Iolana's Initative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Kyra's Initative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Sarge's Initative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Anevia's Initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Aravashniel's Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Horgus's Initiative: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9
Enemy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Alexander, Amanda, Asmodea, Iolana, and Kyra, you're up.

Iolana Torlinni |

With a disgusted look on her face, Iolana says in disgust, "More bugs?!" she drops her whip, pulls her shortbow, and shoots an arrow at one.
shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 51d6 ⇒ 6
My target, is preferably one not in melee, if both are, then whichever has been hit the most.

Asmodea Jaegarre |

Asmodea silently strikes out with her drawn falchion.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 152d4 + 5 ⇒ (4, 4) + 5 = 13
Damned bugs are slowing us down. We need to get these three to safety and find out what happened to the tower. That demon must be wrecking absolute havoc up there and they no doubt need every possible sword to keep control.

Kyra Altreas |

Horgus પાછા રહેવા!" she orders in Aklo, thanks to her curse.
She rushes towards the closest of the three flies and charges it with her sword, hoping to inflict a serious wound upon her target.
Attack, charging for a +2 bonus: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Damage, if I hit: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Spooky GM |

Skipping Amanda and moving on.
Asmodea cleaves right through one of the flies, its carcass hitting the ground as the others buzz more intensely.
They set their sights on the Paladin.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Attack 2 (Flanking): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Ominous die roll: 1d3 ⇒ 1
The first one's attack is deftly blocked, but another sneaks up on the paladin and manages to bite her in the back of the neck.
Now everyone's up.

Sergeant Jackram Hughes |

Sarge jumps forward, taking his mace in both hands as he swings it at the fly. If there's no room to charge, remove the +2.
Attack with charge: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Asmodea Jaegarre |

Asmodea leaves the bug that bit her back, trusting the others to kill it. Swinging at the bug before her, although the pain coursing through her back causes her to miss the damnable creature.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 82d4 + 5 ⇒ (3, 3) + 5 = 11

Kyra Altreas |

Kyra, seeing the paladin attacked by the giant fly, changes her target and strategy, once again summoning forth a dragon spirit to attempt a retaliatory strike against that enemy.
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Damage (if it hits): 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Force damage
"આ જંતુઓ માત્ર અમારી ગોલ રીતે મળી રહ્યો છે, અને ફરી ... અમે અમારા ઘર માટે ઉતાવળ કરી શકે છે, તેમને ઝડપથી રવાનગી!"

Iolana Torlinni |

Seeing that both bugs have moved right into Asmodea preventing a clear shot, Iolana readies an action to attack one of the bugs with her bow when she can get a clear shot. "Come on, just move away from her a little bit and I have you."
readied shot: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 131d6 ⇒ 2

Kyra Altreas |

We're really, really bad at hitting things. :|

Iolana Torlinni |

I noticed, I can't hit anything thus far, not that I am that shocked, there is a reason I traditionally play caster types, dice hate me.

Spooky GM |

Amanda and Alexander do nothing this round because.
The insects move on from the Paladin, instead seeking out the charging human who struck them.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Attack 2 (Flanking): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damage 1: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Damage 2: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Save 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Save 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Ominous roll: 1d3 ⇒ 1

Asmodea Jaegarre |

Not that I'm not grateful or anything, but did they actually move or simply refocus. I ask only due to AoOs.
Asmodea clears her head and slashes out with her falchion once again.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 82d4 + 5 ⇒ (3, 2) + 5 = 10
Cursing her poor performance, she swats at one of the bugs, attempting to draw its attention.

Sergeant Jackram Hughes |

Sarge sidesteps and brings his mace down onto the fly's bloated body.
attack with flanking: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 = 13
damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Edited to reflect Spooky's info below.
"Ow! S$!!! Medic!"

Kyra Altreas |

Out of curiosity, Spooks, did that touch attack hit anything?

Kyra Altreas |

Darn. I can hope, Spooks. I can hope.

Asmodea Jaegarre |

They just moved. Sarge charged at them, and it would have only taken five-foot-steps to reposition. Otherwise I'd have noted you got an AOO.
It's all good for me. I didn't know what you were tracking vs expecting me to track. Now I know. 8)

Kyra Altreas |

Kyra assesses the situation and decides to take care of the injured, leaving the damage to her spirit instead. She runs over to Sarge and places her hand on his shoulder, channeling positive energy to heal his wounds, while commanding her spirit to attempt to attack the fly once more.
"હું આ ભયંકર જંતુઓ અમારા સાથી રક્ષણ, તમે પ્રાર્થના કરવી!"
Cure Light Wounds on Sarge: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Ranged Touch Attack on the same fly: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Damage if it connects: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Iolana Torlinni |

Sorry, still getting used to this and lost track of my turn.
Getting very disgusted by these flies not co-operating and giving her a shot, she starts to sway and hum and dips down to pick up her whip. Whip in one hand, and bow in the other, she straighten back up and begins to sway and spin while she sings, "Let's knock them down, and then rip off their wings, lets beat the @#$% out of some flies. Let's knock them down, and then rip off their wings, and squash some flies into the ground!"
I start my bardic performance for inspire courage since these are taking a bit longer then the last bugs to kill. I will only put the effect of it in this once unless you want me to as a reminder, and each time that the bonus goes up I will do it again. So: +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear and +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. Oh, the tune for this one would be tumbthumping from Chumbawumba(sp?)if anyone is curious.

Spooky GM |

Another of the flies drops, only leaving one, who goes right for the source of noise, even if it means taking a few hits along the way.
Fly's Acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
No AOOs for Sarge or Asmodea. Also Sarge, can you please add your CMD to your race field?
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Fort Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Ominous roll: 1d3 ⇒ 3
You f!!@ing guys can't make a fort save to save your lives. Potentially quite literally.

Iolana Torlinni |

Wow, these flies suck, or is that bite. Getting my next action down in case it lives that long.
"Ow! Why you, that hurt!"
Dropping the whip and bow and drawing her mace, Iolana takes a swing at the fly while she continues her performance.
light mace: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 161d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Asmodea Jaegarre |

Going to assume it's our go again as the fly bit someone.
Asmodea grits her teeth in frustration, stepping over to the fly and lashing out once again with her blade, hopefully directly across from Iolana.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 202d4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1, 4) + 5 + 1 = 11

Spooky GM |

Yes Asmodea, whenever I post an enemy action, whole team is up.
The buzzing dies out as the flies are all felled, even if they took some pretty nasty bites out of you in the process. It leaves you to more closely approach your situation. The building is the source of the light, not from the inside, but with the stone structure itself emitting that faint, sickening green glow.
Anyone with Knowledge (Religion) may roll to identify the hammer symbol on the door.

Iolana Torlinni |

Picking up and stowing her weapons, Iolana looks at her injury as best she can. "I don't suppose I could get some help here could I? This bite is rather unpleasant."
knowledge (religion): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Kyra Altreas |

Knowledge (Religion): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Cure Light Wounds (yet again) on Asmodea: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
...I just...These rolls...WHY.
Kyra studies the symbol for a moment before realizing Asmodea has been injured from the flies. Acting hastily (perhaps too hastily), she places her right hand gently on Asmodea's wound, channeling a small amount of divine energy to help close it up.
"There, is that any better, Ms. Asmodea?" she asks, a hint of concern in her voice.

Asmodea Jaegarre |

I think Kyra got ooc confused as to who was speaking, so I'd as soon apply the heal to Io, if that is okay. Such things happen on message boards, but are much less likely when standing next to a collapsing woman.

Kyra Altreas |

Oh, whoops. :| Yeah, that was supposed to be for Io, my mistake. >.<;

Iolana Torlinni |

At Kyra's touch, Iolana shivers slightly as the pain dies down from her wounds, looking to her, "Thank you Kyra, that helps. May Desna bless you." concluding by making the sign of the wings of Desna.
Wow, your rolls are about like mine when I try to heal people. Got to think far to late, shoulda used saving finale on the failed fort save, oh well, just have it for later I suppose, in fact, gotta remember I have that in the first place.
