Aces attenion turns to the skeleton infront of him and nibly ducks out of the way as it swings....Dropping the rifle and rolling back out of the skeletons reach (5 foot step) Aces Revolver is in his hands and he lets fly with a volly of shots.
Attack 1 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Dammage 11d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Attack 2 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Rev smiles, "Just pay me the 100 you actually owe me!" he yells above the gun shots echoing through the little clearing.
He dips, moving around to flank the skeleton between he and Bralla.
Minor: seriously doubt I am ever getting that 100 back.
Movement: 5 foot step down and 1 across at a diagonal.

Skeleton 4 Grabs his sword from his useless hand and swings it at Bralla

Bruce roars in frustration as his sword misses yet again, and froth appears at the corners of his mouth.

With an overhead swing Bralla brings his Falchion down on top of the Skeletons head cracking it's skull there is a loud bone crunching sound as the shock of the blow runs through its spine crumbling all the vertebrae. Armour crashes to the ground among all the bones.
The unwritten law of ongoing effects is that you always seem to kill the foes that would be effected :)

Watching the combat unfold in front of him and hearing the clash and boom of sword and gun..Ace remembers something he saw while they were laying the railway. 'Its time to play my hand' he whispers.
He jumps back once gain out of the skeletons reach and spinning his revolver into its holster.5 foot step
Hands quickly darting around his coat Aces find what he is looking for..a small hip flask, dented and worn and an off white cylinder, long as 2 hands, with a short black fuse sticking from it....TNT he heard one of the rail engineers call it. The flask ..Liquid lady luck he calls it.
Fist swigging deep on the flask Aces feels the Luck flow through him...his muscles tighten and flex feeling more loose, more limber but his senses dim.

Time seems to slow (HERO POINT std action)as Aces looks to the cilinder in his hand judging the distance aces cuts the fuse and lights it....
With a quick flick of his wrist it goes sailing toward the closest skeleton as Aces yells...'REV! BRALLA! GET DOWN NOW!!!!

Rev spins out the way, deftly avoiding the shrapnel as it spreads from Ace's explosion. He sets his face with determination, stabbing with his rapier while shooting his revolver.

Bruce's eyes gleam with a hint of insanity as he swings his greatsword in a deadly arc at the object of his ire.

Rev looks over at the group piling on top of the last skeleton, and decides he wants in on this hog pile.
He jogs over the clearing, bringing himself opposite of Bralla, and he once again lashes out with his rapier, hoping to soften it up for Bruce.

With froth flying from the corners of his mouth as he thrashes around with animalistic rage, Bruce bellows something unintelligible at the skeleton as he attempts to smash his greatsword through its skull.

"I told you Bruce would get you," the half-orc chuckles at the pile of bones.
"But Gods be Damned, Bruce, what a hit!"
"Everyone okay? Darri, you a'right?"

After returning his two holtsers and rapier to their scabbards, Rev makes a rounds of the group checking for anything to serious. He binds any open wounds, wrapping them tightly in linen bandages hoping it will be enough.
When he comes to Bruce, he gasps for a moment looking at the wounds the giant warrior has taken.
Heal Check on group, doing just Long Term Care sort of thing? 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21.
Treat Deadly Wounds on Bruce. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10. F%~%.
Cure Light Wounds on the big guy. 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
I only have one channel energy left, should I use it to get us all up to full strength?

Kimba comes back about ten Minutes later with another young Native girl (say 17 odd) trailing behind her** spoiler omitted ** Then she says to everyone "Kimba thank Whitties for help. Here" at this point she holds out six small flagons with stoppers "this drink help you fight longer. May Great Mother lend strength you arm"
A quick inspection by The Rev reveals that the flagons contain Cure Moderate Wounds Potions. I didn't make this clear at the time...

"They all stood here for a bit and then they all split up" She inspects the ground some more. ** spoiler omitted ** Then she points "There, ha, a Man with boots! He went this way" She points and then quickly moves off in that direction. You follow for ten or more minutes, all the while Darri is focused on the tracks at her feet as she tells you they are faint.
Bralla walks back a little to retrieve his bow. Then, thinking out loud, "Man with boots, Darri said. Man with boots not no native then. Native no needs boot for feet.

Darri leads on for a couple of hours more carefully watching the tracks. She notes a couple of times where a group seems to join the main one again, also noting that there is always only one set of boots.
The trail leads to the side of a small hill under the shade of a massive eucalyptus tree.
Darri moves this way and that, looking a little confused at the tracks.

Wow that was so close that I'm gonna give it to you, call Bralla and Bruce's rolls an assist
Darri doesn't answer Bralla straight away but continues to pace the clearing in front of the massive tree. "Darri can't explain, trail ends at tree but older trail heads off north?" she looks up into the tree "Darri can't see no dead men hanging in branches?"
With these words your attention is focused on the tree and Rev finds the engraved arrow mark

Rev gives Bralla a sideways glance, a slight twitch at the corner of his mouth. "I bet Ace's would do it." He then checks the load in his revolver, replacing his spent rounds.
