Aces attenion turns to the skeleton infront of him and nibly ducks out of the way as it swings....Dropping the rifle and rolling back out of the skeletons reach (5 foot step) Aces Revolver is in his hands and he lets fly with a volly of shots.

Attack rapid Shot:

Attack 1 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Dammage 11d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Attack 2 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Dammage 21d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5


BANG BANG!! Aces comes out of his roll and with a quick finger on the trigger he sends two bullets at the skeleton The first one goes wide the 2nd punches through the skeletons breastplate but doesn't seem to faze it much.

Rev smiles, "Just pay me the 100 you actually owe me!" he yells above the gun shots echoing through the little clearing.

He dips, moving around to flank the skeleton between he and Bralla.

Minor: seriously doubt I am ever getting that 100 back.
Movement: 5 foot step down and 1 across at a diagonal.
Standard:

You step up to the skeleton and send the point of your rapier into it's sword arms elbow, the joint cracks and the fore arm hangs uselessly at it's side.


Skeleton 4 Grabs his sword from his useless hand and swings it at Bralla

Skeleton 5 Swings his sword at Bruces head

Skeleton 6 steps up behind The Rev and tries to slash him across the back

Bruce roars at the skeleton "Stop moving so Bruce can hit you!"

Bruce roars in frustration as his sword misses yet again, and froth appears at the corners of his mouth.


Sorry everyone, I'm still having Internet dramas.

Bruce swings but again the Skeleton jumps out of the way.

Darri takes aim at the Skeleton as it dodges back and forth avoiding The Bruce's attacks.

Bralla swing his falchion at Skelton 4, almost cross-eyed with frustration.

"Bralla glad to have Rev nearby."

Befuddling Strike:
Befuddling Strike** (Ex) : When the rogue deals sneak attack damage against an opponent, that opponent takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls against the rogue for 1d4 rounds.

With an overhead swing Bralla brings his Falchion down on top of the Skeletons head cracking it's skull there is a loud bone crunching sound as the shock of the blow runs through its spine crumbling all the vertebrae. Armour crashes to the ground among all the bones.

The unwritten law of ongoing effects is that you always seem to kill the foes that would be effected :)

Watching the combat unfold in front of him and hearing the clash and boom of sword and gun..Ace remembers something he saw while they were laying the railway. 'Its time to play my hand' he whispers.

He jumps back once gain out of the skeletons reach and spinning his revolver into its holster.5 foot step

Hands quickly darting around his coat Aces find what he is looking for..a small hip flask, dented and worn and an off white cylinder, long as 2 hands, with a short black fuse sticking from it....TNT he heard one of the rail engineers call it. The flask ..Liquid lady luck he calls it.

Fist swigging deep on the flask Aces feels the Luck flow through him...his muscles tighten and flex feeling more loose, more limber but his senses dim.
Alchemist mutagen, Std action

new stats:

Time seems to slow (HERO POINT std action)as Aces looks to the cilinder in his hand judging the distance aces cuts the fuse and lights it....

With a quick flick of his wrist it goes sailing toward the closest skeleton as Aces yells...'REV! BRALLA! GET DOWN NOW!!!!

Throw Bomb:

Attack 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
Damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 Fire!

Bomb does 3 splash dammage to all within 1 square of skeleton hit. DC 13 reflex to take half dammage


BOOM the TNT lands at the Skeletons feet (no.6) and it's legs blacken and burn. The explosive force blowing the legs out from underneath it. It makes do though propping its torso up with one arm.

Rev spins out the way, deftly avoiding the shrapnel as it spreads from Ace's explosion. He sets his face with determination, stabbing with his rapier while shooting his revolver.

Bang The bullet smashes into the helmet and skull of the Skeleton knocking its head clean off the rest of the bones fall apart a second later.

Come on Bruce do us proud!


Oh wait it's the Skeletons turn.

Although it's the only one left the last Skeleton stands its ground. Swinging it's sword at The Bruce

Bruce's eyes gleam with a hint of insanity as he swings his greatsword in a deadly arc at the object of his ire.

Bruce is about ready to start attacking the random dice generator.


Your sword bounces off the skeletons armour.

Darri fires an arrow at the skeleton 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 but misses terribly.

Bralla quickly moves to help Bruce.

He rattles his falchion across the skeleton's armour, saying,

Rev looks over at the group piling on top of the last skeleton, and decides he wants in on this hog pile.

He jogs over the clearing, bringing himself opposite of Bralla, and he once again lashes out with his rapier, hoping to soften it up for Bruce.

With froth flying from the corners of his mouth as he thrashes around with animalistic rage, Bruce bellows something unintelligible at the skeleton as he attempts to smash his greatsword through its skull.

"I told you Bruce would get you," the half-orc chuckles at the pile of bones.
"But Gods be Damned, Bruce, what a hit!"

"Everyone okay? Darri, you a'right?"

Bruce brings his sword down square on the Skeletons head which crumbles with the blow along with the rest.


"Darri alright. Maybe just sit down one minute." she says looking a little shaken but not wounded. She sits down next to a tree and studies the ground looking at the tracks.

Bruce jumps up and down on the pile of bones that was the skeleton for a while, until he calms down.

After returning his two holtsers and rapier to their scabbards, Rev makes a rounds of the group checking for anything to serious. He binds any open wounds, wrapping them tightly in linen bandages hoping it will be enough.

When he comes to Bruce, he gasps for a moment looking at the wounds the giant warrior has taken.

Heal Check on group, doing just Long Term Care sort of thing? 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21.

Treat Deadly Wounds on Bruce. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10. F%~%.

Cure Light Wounds on the big guy. 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

I only have one channel energy left, should I use it to get us all up to full strength?

A quick inspection by The Rev reveals that the flagons contain Cure Moderate Wounds Potions. I didn't make this clear at the time...


Darri gets up and moves around looking for the trail. After a minute while The Rev is tending the parties wounds she says "Ok, Darri find boot mans track again... When you ready we follow yes?"

"See here, between scratches and foot print of dead men things..." she points to an area a bit jumbled by a lot of foot prints. You can clearly see the impression of a riding boots! "Darri reckon that print is made by whitie yes."

Yup, let's hack apart whoever is behind this.

Darri leads on for a couple of hours more carefully watching the tracks. She notes a couple of times where a group seems to join the main one again, also noting that there is always only one set of boots.

The trail leads to the side of a small hill under the shade of a massive eucalyptus tree.
Darri moves this way and that, looking a little confused at the tracks.

Perception DC 22:
You see an engraved arrow about an arms length above head height. It points to a crack which leads to a large Knot in the tree which is at your chest height.

Wow that was so close that I'm gonna give it to you, call Bralla and Bruce's rolls an assist

Darri doesn't answer Bralla straight away but continues to pace the clearing in front of the massive tree. "Darri can't explain, trail ends at tree but older trail heads off north?" she looks up into the tree "Darri can't see no dead men hanging in branches?"

With these words your attention is focused on the tree and Rev finds the engraved arrow mark

the direction the old tracks lead towards is pretty much empty land except for some farming lands and Riffton.

this can be made untrained.

Rev points up in the tree, "This is going to sound strange, but do I see something up amongst the branches there?"


The Rev indicates a knot in the tree trunk which when felt feels like it would push in. Perhaps it the trigger for a secret door which would explain how the tracks end here.

Rev gives Bralla a sideways glance, a slight twitch at the corner of his mouth. "I bet Ace's would do it." He then checks the load in his revolver, replacing his spent rounds.
