Bruce roars with defiance as he swings at the abomination with all his might.

Bruce swings at the beast with all his might scoring two hits on the beasts chest as it's knee fails from Brallas hit. It falls to the ground in a tumble of bodies as the spell that was fusing the corpses fails. The woman, Baby and another child that the beast was holding have fallen in that mess to.

THAT WAS AWESOME. Two Hero points for everyone. And level up your characters.

In the aftermath of the battle it you hear wailing mothers, husbands and children. You see Kimba walking amongst the huts tears streaming from her eyes.

The Rev wheels around, looking for the horror that escaped. At the same time, he mutters a prayer, another wave of golden light swirling about them.

you look around and see a pale flicker running through the trees in the distance, you scan the hill that it's running up and through the gum trees in the darkness you seethe a flare like the light from a cigar or a tobacco pipe

Bralla and Rev:
You look around the camp and see many footprints by the moonlight it seems the attack was more wide spread and there are many people walking around calling out for their loved ones some find them but most don't. The beasts seemed to come in as one unit and then spread out around the camp to attack the dwellings. Most of the footprints heading out are heavier than those coming in.

The young woman gets up from amongst the corpses that made up the beast she picks up her baby and then walks over to Bruce she looks up at him through long lashes and then stumbles over some English Thank you big sword. You save me.

Aces scans around the camp looking for more danger as he reload his revolver and rifle.
Holstering the revolver and taking up the rifle he comments to the group.
'I thought that was about to be my last hand'
Then louder and more generaly ' So does anyone know what these things were and what might be causing this?'

The Rev walks up to Aces, wiping dirt off his newly retrieved revolver before loading them up with their new rounds.

"I've lost track of the last one. We should all make haste though, last I saw the horrible thing with a load of poor villagers."


It's good to see the game continue to move :) Has everyone leveled up? Could I get everyone to put their character sheet in their profile? Pick an extra trait when you do!

The horrors have all run off and judging by the tracks more than one got away with a load of natives.


Kimba's back straightens as Bralla talks to her in the native's language. She considers the question of a tracker and then says

Native:
You are right Bralla, I must put aside my grief. It is not so rare that one as young as I must take up the position of OldOne.
she smiles her thanks at Bralla after their foreheads touch and says
Native:
The Great Mother speed your way, and open a path before you. Wait here, I know who to send as your guide.
and she rushes off to find someone.


Kimba comes back about ten Minutes later with another young Native girl (say 17 odd) trailing behind her

Native:
This is Darri, she will have no trouble following tracks and leading you through the land
Then she says to everyone "Kimba thank Whitties for help. Here" at this point she holds out six small flagons with stoppers "this drink help you fight longer. May Great Mother lend strength you arm"


Darri stands to the side and behind Kimba, she looks a little surly and unhappy about having to help

Sense motive DC 12:
When her eyes rest on the 'whitties' of the group you spot the fear and uneasiness present in her expression.
She is tall and the features of her face are arranged pleasantly enough, her skin being a similar hue to Bralla's not as dark as most Natives. She wears Leather armour and holds a longbow in her left hand. apart from a pouch on her belt and a quiver of Arrows over her left shoulder she has little other gear."OldOne tell Darri: find trail for men." She points at the wide trail of tracks leaving the camp and a sarcastic smile crosses her face for a second "you follow Darri, Darri show you a way"

The Rev stumbles backwards, looking at the slick of blood coming from his new wound. He gasped, never having been actually hit before, this was new and terrifying.

With a loud curse aces moves back toward rev...ducking out of the reach of the Skeleton (5 foot step).

Raising his rifle he lets fly trying to put a bullet through the skeletons skull.

Rev, looking forward as the Ambush unfolds around him and realises he has a chance to do something.

"Aces! I'm moving up.." Letting his old pal know he is leaving his side.

I will move up ten feet, to be standing next to Skeleton #3. If I am counting right, I should be able to cover almost every skeleton (except #5?) with this burst heal.

As Rev moves up, he drops his pistol, drawing his rapier as he moves up, hoping to dodge the skeletons as they lash out at him as he moves up. When in places, he begins muttering his prayer. The wave explodes out twice, bathing the area in two slightly different auras.

Movement: Move Forward 10ft, draw rapier.
Standard:
Channel Energy: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11 to Damage the skeletons. Will Dc 14 for half.

Channel Energy: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8 to heal the group (Should affect everyone, including me.)


As you step away from the skeleton and up beside the other one they swipe at you with their swords.

Skeleton 6 AoO : 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Skeleton 3 AoO: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Then your release two waves of energy Skeletons 1, 2, and 3 crumble into dust a wailing sound is emitted as the magical energies animating them is released and thier armour and swords fall clanging together into the dirt!

The other skeletons in the area tremble as your energy washes over them.


Skeleton 5 attacks Darri aiming for a shoulder
Atk: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Skeleton 6 takes a step to where The Rev was and slashes at Aces
Atk: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

And Skeleton 4 steps up to The Rev and takes a swing.
Atk: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

But everyone is on thier toes now and you all easily avoid thier attacks.

Bruce charges at no.5 (is alive(movie reference)) hoping to draw its attention from Darri. Roaring and sneezing through the cloud of skeleton dust, swinging madly.

Damage 2d6 + 15 ⇒ (4, 3) + 15 = 22


The Skeleton nimbly ducks under your mad swing which surely would have decapitated it if it wasn't quick enough!
