Alright, I have the outline of the character together. It's definitely something a little unusual, but I hope it plays out nicely. :)

I'll have something tomorrow evening. I've been sidetracked by an article I wanted to turn in tonight, and I will be weighing in on RPG Superstar items in time for tomorrow afternoon's reveal.

Introducing Zarine Panchal, vishkanya rogue.

She uses the rogue favored class option in place of extra skill or hit points, and the deadly courtesan archetype.

I haven't written up the backstory yet, but it is in my head. It's too late to put it down coherently tonight.

Treppa, the average of 3d8 is 13.5. You rolled 12. You can manage. ;)

It bodes ill for the future. 1's and 2's are fatal in the long term, and I had to burn a feat to get decent hp. I think I'll equip her better for ranged combat before we roll out!

I'd like to see the new characters complete with back story and answers to my GM questions, by Tuesday or Wednesday if possible. If this poses a problem for anyone just let me know. I think I will be finishing up Savendir's solo adventure in the next few days.

If you have no objection, we will go with the plan that Vadan hired a second group of adventurers to search for Nadu based on rumors he heard in Kaer Maga. This is where Savendir will join the group.

Thanks Treppa and Taig. No problem Flash. That will give me time to wrap us with Savendir and set things up for everyone's entrance.

OK, I have a slight problem... My computer seems so have spat the dummy and refuses to boot up for me (I am pretty sure it's the Hard Drive, it's been acting all wonky for a few weeks now). This poses an issue for this game as the only copy of my character is on my PC as I had yet to copy it over to Paizo before this happened (I was actually turning my computer on whwn it died so I could do just that). It means I will have to buy a new Hard Drive and reinstall everything and copy all my files over from the old drive. I don't get paid until Friday and I'm not sure how long it will take me to get my PC back up to speed, so I can do one of two things: pull out for the interim until I can get my computer back up, probably (hopefully) by next week or play with what I can remember and hope we don't have any major combat in the next couple if weeks.

Go ahead and play with what you remember until your computer comes back. The next week or so will probably be spent getting the characters to know each other and conducting more investigation.

To all, I've been busy with job search stuff. Two interviews this week. I'll have some time to post on Thursday.

I decided it was about time to actually record that loot. Tordek, if I want to sell any of it, do I do so at half price? Is that an option right now? (Scrolls for spells not on my spell list - I'm looking at you.)

I also noticed a pearl of power in my inventory from the gear I purchased when I made up this character. I can't forget about that thing - they're rather useful.

Yeah, I should probably tell you that my old Hard Drive went kaput. :(

Not happy as I lost a lot of stuff that I hadn't backed up, since the last time I backed up was months ago. My own fault really... :/

Which means that I have to re-make Onyx. I can remember a lot of her stuff, but I'm gonna have to retype everything back up again which is a time consuming pain in the ass... Sorry and I hope your job hunting gose well T.

Sorry - its going to be another day before I can get started again. I've got to focus on getting a business improvement plan done for a potential employer. Making progress on it, but still have a lot to flesh out.

Whew - looking for a job takes up a lot more time than I thought. Ok - I'm about ready to kick this off again with new characters. This week I want to wrap up things in Sirathu with Savendir and then get everyone reconnected in Kaer Maga. Will everyone be ready to go by Monday 2/25?

There are two options. Constable Sust is going to ask you to look for Cerpera. If you agree, then you can sell your unwanted loot in Sirathu for 75% of its price. If you decline, you can sell the stuff for 50%.

Savendir will agree, although will state he is going to need some assistance. (Hence, other PCs.)

I will be ready on the 25th. Looking forward to it. :)

Once Savendir accepts that Ilias is eccentric and not crazy, all will be well. However, he is likely to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder against half-elves, for backstory reasons. Just FYI :)

To Treppa, Flash and Shiny. I will bring you into the story in Kaer Maga. You have been hired by another of Vadan Pieresiff's agents. As soon as Savendir and Ilias get acquainted, I will whisk then to Kaer Maga and you will combine forces there.

You have been hired by Rodril Brole. Rodril has been hired by Vaden Pierrsiff to find his son after he heard rumors that captives were being moved through Kaer Maga. Rodril is a step brother of Jol Haverston who runs one of the most successful general stores in Downmarket and thus has some influence in this part of town. Rodril has used this influence to gain the assistance of Fraderk Braejar, the daytime Watch Captain of this district.

Rodril suggested that you each spend some time in the city gathering information and then reporting to Fraderk to coordinate your plans. While each of you are aware that Rodril has hired others, this will be the first time you have actually met each other.

Why do I have a picture of Radagast the Brown in my head when I read Ilias' posts... ;)

I'm wondering if Owen, being a conjurer, would notice anything about Ilias and the fact that his "imaginary friend" is real. I figured Owen might pick up on something, and made a Knowledge (arcana) check a couple pages back in the game thread. Is there anything?

I think Taig will be better able to answer this. I know he is talking to Oog but I don't know if Oog is actually summoned at the moment. I think that if Oog is actually present and invisible, you can find out about it using your knowledge check. However, if Ilias is talking to Oog but he is not actually present, then your check will come up empty.

@Taig, what's your opinion?

Ilias has not summoned Oog, so, at the moment, there's nothing to "read" with the Knowledge check.
