I'm back now - give me a day or two to recover from my vacation, and then I think we can resume our daily post pace. Thanks for your patience. Hope everyone else had a good holiday.

Just so you know, I am going away camping again, but this time for 5 days and as I found out while I was up there last weekend, there is no internet access. :(

Sorry I been silent the past few days. The have been putting in some extremely long hours as I tied up all my loose ends at my old place of employment. Yesterday was an 18 hour day, but everything is done and it is off to my new job on Monday.

I am going to OwlCon at Rice University today (Saturday) with my sons. I hope to be back on track for this game by Monday. Have a great weekend everyone!

Nice work everyone with the crocodiles. Just so you are not worrying, this campaign will be just a series of random encounters. I am using the journey to Sirathu as a chance for you all and me to get a feel for each other's tactics, flesh out your personalities, and create some relationships between your characters. Once you get to Sirathu, the investigation part of the campaign will begin.

Also, as this is my first week on my new job, my posting may be sporadic for a week or two while I adjust to my new routine.

As always, any feedback about the campaign, difficulty or ease of encounters, or suggestions for improvement are always welcome.

arrrrgh I mean not not not. I had it right the first time then at the last minute it looked like a double negative and I changed it. 5:30 am is too early to be posting I guess.

Aww shucks. And here I thought my druid was going to get nothing but wilderness encounters ;)

In seriousness, I like having some encounters like this early on, because it's a great way to get a feel for our characters.

Thanks Flash. I understand. That's why I just wanted to check. I'm pretty sure that Taig's spare time is being taken up by preparing his module proposal for the next round of RPGSuperstar. It was the weekend so I will see if Urzur checks in today some time.

My access has been a bit spotty over the past several days, and may continue to be so for the rest of the week. I will have limited or no internet access on Friday and for some of the weekend. Hopefully things will be back to normal after that.

No I haven't. I sent him an email this morning to see if he is still with us.

Rats. I guess were're in a good spot game-wise to pick up a hot Varisian dude if we need a new character. :(

No response from Trinam to my email from this morning. I'll give him through the weekend before moving on without him.

I guess we can't complain. Both your game and mine has at least 3 - 4 regular posters to keep things moving. I'm really enjoying both games.

Plus, my real life Runelords game is starting its 3rd year and is now up to 7 players with very little turnover.

So all and all, I've been blessed with a lot role playing stability.

Ah, it will be like old times ... Shiny and I were in the first pbp game to run on these boards. Actually there was a time when Shiny was in pretty much every game I was in, but they all died for one reason or another.

On a side note, I am flying to Toronto for three days beginning Tuesday. I should be able post regularly morning/night once I get there.

Urzur update. I got an email from him today. He has been very busy and has had no time for Paizo. Things should return to normal at the end of March. I told him no problem, Urzur will follow his own direction for now and then rejoin later when things are less hectic.

Absolutely. I'm not sure when or if he is going to make it back. If he does, I can handle 7 players. I had less time on my trip then I expected so I wasn't able to get you started. Also, I have my real life Runelord's game on Friday. So it will probably be Monday that I introduce you into the game if that's alright with you.

For the rest of you. I just got back from Toronto. I'll be busy Friday and most of the weekend. Also, I have some Harrow generating to do. I have an idea I am working on with Google docs to handle the Harrow reading. I will try to finish it this weekend. It may be Monday before we can start again.

By the way, nice role play conversation going on there.

An extra (or replacement) character is cool with me.

It's taking me a little longer than I thought to write each harrow reading. I can do about 1 per night. I should be able to write one at lunch and one at night tomorrow. Enard and Savendir will be up next.

Also, I am really enjoying Flavia right now. I can't get the image of her gracefully stomping on Enard's foot out of my head. LOL.

Thanks - I like this method too. It's less disruptive to the story. I think I'll continue using it.

On another note, Urzur has left the game for now. I left it open to Trinam to return to the game once things settle down for him to begin posting again, so you may or may not meet Urzur again in the future.
