Background:

Flavia is a young Korvosan woman of obvious Chelaxian descent. She is short and wiry. Typically businesslike and terse, she can turn on charm or lies as needed. Her rather average looks make her almost invisible in a crowd.

Flavia was raised in the Shingles of the Bridgefront District of Old Korvosa, turning to a life of petty crime as so many children of that area did. After finally catching the attention of the Hellknights, Flavia joined a Varisian caravan and headed north into the heart of Varisia. She made her way to Riddleport for a huge gambling tournament, but ended up working for one of the crimelords there when she couldn’t raise the stake for tournament entry. She and some compatriots were rescued by adventurers from horrors that came to earth with a hunk of skymetal. Noting the relative wealth of her rescuers, she turned to adventuring and made decent enough funds before longing to see her family again. She settled in Eastshore with her mother and sister and all lived off her tiny fortune for a year before the coffers grew low again. Hearing of a nobleman needing his son rescued, she thought this might be a good way to get some easy cash.
