Ophelia will go with the Hunts Master, Garran, and assist him in locating prey in the hopes that he in turn assists her in killing whatever they might find.

IIRC from earlier, this grants him either +1D, or +1?

Assist grants only half of that ability as a bonus (rounded down), so if you have Survival 2 or 3, you only give +1 Assist to the roll

Might as well spent my Destiny Point to get good result. This only applies if Garren is getting worst result than I-> otherwise I will also assist him and he gets +1 from me. Would this be possible?

Marcus spending his time with Garren and others to prepare before taking off. Used to this kind of serenity as he had sometimes done such a trips in the form of hunting himself or with garren or just for training and beating his soldiers to get in shape in the nearby forest.

Soon recognising some tracks of Wild animal Marcus noted Garran "Garran, might you recognise these tracks I happened upon? Something big maybe happened to pass here"

As Matthias approaches him, he says, "Aye, of course you shall accompany me. Let us gather up the others who wish to gon the Hunt." Gathering up Marcus, Darne, and Ophelia, they set off into the woods surrounding Riverrun.

Survival (Hunt): 6d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 5, 5, 1, 2) = 20 -1D will give me 19.

Garran led the party from House Naelareon through the forests. Signs of life surrounded them - squirrels ran across branches, fish splashed through the streams, and tracks of boar and stag were beneath their feet. At one set, Marcus asked about them, and Garran said, "Boar tracks. Looks like a big one, and fresh too. We must move as quietly as possible." Unlimbering his boar spear, Garran stalked forward, followed by the others. They came upon the beast by a stream. Arrows flew, hitting their mark, but this boar was no easy meat. Wheeling, it charged, but Garran was ready. He braced his spear and struck true, pinning the beast as the others stabbed him to finish it off. "An auspicious start, and the afternoon is yet young."

So, with +1 from Marcus, Darne, Ophelia, and Matthias, I have 23 total. Weyland, are you hunting with the group.

Yes, I certainly will Huntmaster Garran! That gives you 24 total!

As Weyland stabs at the Boar he turns to Marcus, "Hell of a night last night eh? I think we made a good impression on Ser Jon though I will need another week of rest to drink like that again".

Weyland turns to Garran, "Do we truss this one up? Here you are Lord my friend and I shall follow your lead", he jests with a good natured slap on the shoulder.

Looking at Marcus, as Matthias retracts his spear, his voice serious, Marcus, House Naelareon could have no more honorable or skilled a Castellan as you. You have done right by Lord Domeric, moreso than those of his own blood.

Darne had turned about when he heard the thunk of an arrow splitting through armor. He hadn't known what the noise was before but now seeing it he did. He looked at the blood coming from it and reached out towards the man to try and keep him from running off.

Healing: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11

He looked at the wound and tried to remember what he could that the maester had told him and what they had available to try and fix it.

Mostly looking to see about removing the arrow from his body and bandaging it up. Personally I know it's better to shove the arrow the rest of the way through and break off the feather end and pull it that way. Then a bit of packing on both sides with a compression bandage...but I don't know if Darne's roll is enough to remember what the maester would have told him. I assume they would've brought some supplies given that hunting accidents do happen and it would be good to have a bit of poultrice on sight.

Setting about trussing the boar for transport, Garran suddenly hears Weyland grunt. Turning, he finds him with an arrow sticking out if him from an unseen archer. "Ser Weyland, what has happened?"

The Maester is not with the group, but should be close by, as hunting accidents always happen, so you can take Weyland back to the "hunting camp" while the rest continue or you all waste a timeslot figuring out if you want to finish the event or not.

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

Darne thought for a bit but realized the maester was indeed the one to handle this as the amount of blood was too much for novice hands to gamble on it. He looked around trying to figure out the best course of action.

"Matthias, could you take Ser Weyland back to the Maester while the rest of us carry on for the sake of the house. I know that you would be keen to continue the hunt but if he were to try and fight back and carry on I fear that you are the only one with perhaps enough strength in our group to make sure he follows orders." he said looking over the group at hand.

Seeing young Darne examining the wound Marcus steps closer "My Lord, I suggest that you should continue with others and huntmaster Garran for a worthy price or even White Stag itself. I will in the meantime take Ser Weyland back to our camp to be taken care off and come back later. We do not know what happened but it is not uncommon for "hunting" accidents to happen so there is no sense to worry about it now." stating to Darne

"I believe it is best to have Ser Matthias here in case something might happen. He has the knowledge with swords and it is good to have him here meantime. I will be back as soon as I can"

While your command has merit Darne, Marcus has it right. I will not risk the loss of Lord Domeric's only son. Unwavering resolve clear in my response.

In a commanding voice, Marcus, make all do haste. See if the Maester can discern any kind of identifying characteristics on the arrow.

Memorable Houses in the event
House Blackwood 9 points
House Naelareon 8 Points
House Tully 8 Points
House Estern 8

Garran Fain earns a place at the royal table for slaying the White Stag, bringing honor to House Naelareon, but the winner of the event is Billy Burley of House Blackwood, slaying 2 boars and 1 stag.

Garran won a lot including a rival, a very famous archer rival to boot XD which pleases lord Naelareon to no end, since you not only rob the man of his glory, by shooting the White Stag, it was about time he had competition

Edit: Feast takes place on Day 3 Early Evening, were we also celebrate the Pageantry champion.

Tattered Pageantry
A steady drizzle falls on the tourney grounds as the opening martial pageant begins. The nobles are sheltered from the rain by the Tully blue canvas roof of the stands, but among the smallfolk the rain falls alike on the just and the unjust.
A herald from each house introduces their worthy champion, who is then charged with providing a display of horsemanship by riding up and down the lists while collecting wicker rings on his lance before finally riding down a jousting dummy at the ends of the lists.
There is limited drink available, with guests debating whether this is easing or stirring tensions, but at least there is plentiful food following the bounty of the royal hunt.
Tension is in the air, as those present mentally tally which houses and factions can lay claim to the finest knights in Westeros.

Participants: One herald per house and any number of riders per house. Herald can be a NPC Courtier that won't fail the rolls, but gives no bonuses either, Unless Cassondria does it then she gives bonus. One rider must be nominated as each house's “champion”, he receives the benefit of any successful assist from his house's herald. You can convince Lord Naelareon to participate, it won't take much lol, but he will have a hard time winning the Joust.

Challenges:
Herald: Post an introduction for your house's champion.
Status (reputation) (9) or Awareness (Empathy) (9) – to grab the crowd's attention or gauge its mood.
Persuasion (Charm or Convince)/Deception (Bluff) (9) – to suitably introduce your house's champion. You may also use this to push a “Green” (Queen) or “Black” (Princess) agenda. Doing so openly is less subtle and may have future ramifications, or this can be done subtly but imposes a -3 penalty to your roll.

Martial participants:
Post a description of your character's entrance, recitation of deeds, horsemanship and riding at rings with a lance and finally the jousting dummy.
Status (Tournaments) (9)
Animal Handling (Ride) (12)
Fighting (Spears) (12)
Anyone with the benefit Tourney Knights adds their Tournament dice to all three tests as a static benefit.
If a character's herald succeeds on both rolls, the martial participant gets the benefit of an assist (half of herald's rank in persuasion/deception) to all three rolls.

Consequences:
Passing all three tests = 1 glory
Highest total degrees of success = 1 additional glory and the title of “Pageant Champion” (highest rolled total breaks ties, then bonus dice in the tested specialties), plus a future seat at the royal table.
- Winner also receive a superior shield painted in your House or personal heraldry.
Highest Persuasion/Deception total = +1 to Green or Blacks “support” score and 1 glory to the herald.
Critical failures on Animal Handling or Fighting tests may lead to complications...
As normal, a poor roll and use of deception may have consequences.
