Linnet Applesby |

Linnet points out the lock to Chandria, curious. "I think someone might have been here before us," she whispers. "Maybe we should leave."

The Changing Tide |

Galley Linnet and Chandria
Crew Berths Gupson
Rosie grins and pushed the tall human fighter in to a hammock, before patting him on the thigh. "Ye haven't yet either handsome, but maybe sometime. Get some rest now. Ye'll need it for the morrow!"

Linnet Applesby |

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
As Linnet looks closer, she breathes a sigh of relief. "It's just old," she whispers. "Someone must have forgotten about it. We should take this - we'll need it to start our own stash."

Chandria |

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Chandria is also relieved. "Yes, good idea," she whispers, examining the lock. "You should go ahead and grab it. Hide it somewhere. I'm getting quite anxious just standing here. Let's get going."

Linnet Applesby |

Linnet stuffs the lock deep in her clothes (where she hopes the pirates won't be looking) and heads off to bed. The first night on a new ship... it's hard to go to sleep when her mind is so full of the big changes of the day. She schemes all sorts of brilliant plots that are sure to leave her head by the time she wakes up.

The Changing Tide |

Laying Down the Law
You are dragged from your sleep by the loud tolling of a bell. Dawn has come and the new day rises, calling you from your hammocks and towards whatever the hell Plugg and Scourge have in store for you. As you roll out of your hammocks and dress, you turn to leave, to find your way out of the Berths blocked, by six pirates.
Aretta Bansion, Fipps Chumlett, Jaundiced Jape, and Slippery Sy Lonegan stand on one side of the stairs, glaring threateningly. On the other side stands a Half-Elf female by the name of Badger and a Dwarf Male, named Tam. Jape, a Half-Orc, steps forward in to your path, grinning from ear to ear. "Alright ladies, time for your lessons. Scourge wants you thought to step in line. Your gonna learn the hard way. Let's beat these c*$@s!"
Roll Initiative please. And with that, let's move to Roll20.
Aretta1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Slippery Sy1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Fipps1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Tam1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Jape1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Badger1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Aqguazula |

I only have access to a phone, so I still roll?
go go time: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Dacota Gupson |

Day 2
Dacota wakes up from the comfort of the hammock with a yawn, hopping out of bed rejuvenated, "What a night. That rum hit me good," he says with a smile. He attempts to go to the main deck for the new days work, but is confronted by the pirates.
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Linnet Applesby |

Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Intimidate: 1d20 ⇒ 12 in whatever order it needs to be
"I am not in the mood," snarls Linnet.

Bleepos Droppo |

Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Bleepos wakes up in the mood for a brawl.
I'd much rather do everything here... Most of the time I'm posting through my phone :/ either way, please keep in mind Bleepos is using a studded leather (not counting in my AC) and he's always armed (he bites...)

Aqguazula |

After many imperial stouts and a bottle of vodka(subsided now) I have returned.
Aqguazula breaks his meditation to stand up, looking down on the ruffian, he picks up his spear. "If you don't step the F*** out of the way, I'm going to jam this up your ass and feed you to the F&%$@#^ Sharks!"
Intimidate: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

Chandria |

Chandria moves up and pulls an bluish-black bottle of sparking liquid from her alchemy kit. "I'd really rather not be throwing bombs on this ship... But you leave me no choice!" She removes the cork as the bottle shakes violently in her hand. Instead of tossing profanities, Chandria throws a bomb at Tam.
Bomb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Fire
Half splash damage is reflex save DC12

The Changing Tide |

Starting from the square directly in front of Tam, deviates clockwise by-1d8 ⇒ 5

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Tam takes full 3, Badger and Jape take 1. Japes turn.
As the bomb lands and burns off some of his hair, Jape stares wide eyed. "The f#~~ you doing...? We was just looking for some soft talk, no teeth. We aint got no weapons. You are f&$*ing crazy!"
With that he turns and flees up above.
Fipps shakes his head and backs away slowly. "Yer crazy, I want none of it! " before he too flees up above.
Dacota.

Bleepos Droppo |

Just so we don't lose much time, I'll try to advance it here...
Bleepos moves towards the pirate in front of him - the half-elf - and bites her, abusing the fact she's still flat footed for going after him in initiative.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1 + Sneak: 1d6 ⇒ 2
The goblin laughs maniacally while doing so. If attacked by someone unarmed provoking, he will bite them too. If people decided to flee, though, he won't pursue or take AoOs.

Sasha Neville |

Sasha decides it best to skulk her way through the bunks to try and make her way to the ladder to the main deck. she tries to use the confusion of the bomb as a distraction.
stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Aqguazula |

hmm, I sense imminent punishment

The Changing Tide |

Arreta watches in horror as the crazy new recruits continue to escalate the affair. She backs away slowly before dashing up on deck.
Syl holds her arm where the Goblin bit her and moves away, grumbling and cursing. "I'll get you when you aint so brave greeny!"
As the other pirates rush past her, the Mwangi Half-Elf woman steps forward, glaring darkly, pulling a curved dagger from her belt. "Alright c%#!s, time to f$$~ing suffer!" She moves in to beside Tam, and slashes out at Gupson.
Badger slashes the knife across the Chelaxians ribs, drawing some blood. She grins darkly, licking her lips. "Bring it!"
Gupson takes 4 damage.
Linnets turn.

Linnet Applesby |

Intelligence: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Wasn't able to move my token, but move me diagonally, down and to the left, in a 5' step.
Going to assume, based on the actions above, that Syl has moved from her position in Roll20 and is within striking range after my 5' step. If not, I will target Tam instead (without the Favoured Enemy bonus, I assume).
Linnet froze for a second, unsure how to approach the unfolding combat. It had been too much to hope that her cranky words would have dissuaded the crew, although Aqguazula's vicious threat might have had a chance.
I can't let them know about the shortsword I took... maybe the kukri they gave me for rope-cutting yesterday?
The problem was, she didn't want to kill anyone, given the captain's stern warning against it. Maybe if she tried to go light on their attackers... after all, she and the other members of that press gang had forged a tentative alliance the day before, and it wouldn't do to have one of her allies assaulted.
All this raced through her mind as she watched the scene unfold before her, admiring the destructive power of Chandria's bomb. When she saw her chance, she was ready.
Fortunately, the half-elven woman, Syl, had brought herself within reach thanks to her slash at Dacota. After growing up on an elven ship and docking at ports with only the worst of humankind on display, Linnet had grown to mistrust humans. She had made sure to learn the best ways of taking them down. Syl would be the perfect target right now.
She stepped forward, drawing her kukri, and tried to aim somewhere non-essential on the other half-elf.
Attack (Favoured Enemy +2, Non-Lethal): 1d20 + 3 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 2 - 4 = 19
Roll to Confirm Critical: 1d20 + 3 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 - 4 = 2
Damage (Favoured Enemy +2, Non-Lethal): 1d4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 2 = 8

Aqguazula |

Intellgence: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Aqguazula thinks to himself, Hmm, maybe I should be less harsh on the other crew, hmm let's find out how I feel.
He moves across the the deck towards Badger standing 10ft infront of her.
He lashes his hair at her.
Hit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 111d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
-4 for non-lethal attack, forgot to put that in

Chandria |

Seeing as most of the cretins spoke empty threats, Chandria decides to follow her allies' lead and moves ahead with something a little less dangerous than her powerful bombs. Her stress response had kicked in earlier and Chandria was quick to choose such a potent weapon. With enough time to react to the fleeing pirates, she chooses to let them off lightly. This won't seriously hurt him, but it will definitely teach him not to bully us again!
Bite (nl): 1d20 - 3 - 4 ⇒ (18) - 3 - 4 = 111d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Bleepos Droppo |

Bleepos hurries to get the woman's weapon on the floor, to hide as quickly as possible. He looks at the others with pleading eyes.
We will need it! - he says in a hurry.
Intelligence: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9
He doesn't remember anything else, though, so he just worries about hiding the weapon.
Taking 10 for a 22 in Stealth to hide the weapon

Aqguazula |

Aqguazula will say, " quickly help me haul her into one of the hammocks, make her look like she's sleeping on the job"
he will walk over to her limp body and drag badger by her arms.

Linnet Applesby |

Whoops, yes I did mean Badger. I couldn't tell who was whom really!
"Chandria and I found a lock last night, if we can look for a hiding place. Better make sure this woman won't keel over on us, first..."
Linnet checks the woman over and helps Aqguazula drag her onto a hammock.
Heal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
She also looks around for an empty bottle to stick in the woman's hand, all the better to incriminate her.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

Aqguazula |

Aqguazula will twirl his fingers and click his teeth. spells spells into the empty bottle.
Casts Create Water and soon after enhance water to make beer
"Now that he have liquor, let's get her soaked."
Aqguazula then pours the beers on Badger,"What do you do with a drunken sailor?" He grins.

Sasha Neville |

been real busy past couple of days, need some sleep before work. any way...
Sasha makes sure the ladder up topside is clear,, she then looks back at the others, all clear, I'll go up and stall, just hurry up. she whispers.
She then rushes up the ladder to report for duty.
will be back in about 16 hours-ish

Aqguazula |

After being aided with putting Badger to sleep and helping to frame her of sleeping on the job, Aqguazula follows the advice of Sasha. He makes his way up the ladder for another day of work.

Chandria |

Seeing as the party did such a good job at setting the scene, Chandria shrugs and does nothing more with the sailor. Well, it could not be helped, I guess. The tengu lets out a quiet laugh. What a ridiculous idea... But I think it might just work.
Turning serious, she remembers the lock she and Linnet had taken last night, and now the weapon that Bleepos had picked up.
"We have a weapon and a lock, two things that aren't ours... Now, there are dozens of cabinets in the galley, and I'd surmise that that filthy Kroop has no idea what's in half of them. He's probably too drunk all the time to know what's in any of them, and who would actually inspect cooking cabinets for stolen goods?" The tengu continues quickly, knowing she would have to get to work soon, "That's where we should put them. We can't possibly hide these things where we sleep, so let's hide them... in the open." She doubts her idea but tries to sound as sure of herself as she can.

Bleepos Droppo |

Don't know what you're talking about! Weapon mine, always been! - he smiles, maliciously showing very few desire to give it away.
@GM: Since he's small, it might look a little big to him. If it's not something like a medium dagger that he could use as a small shortsword without penalty, he will certainly hand it to someone on their group who can better use it.

The Changing Tide |

It was indeed a Medium Dagger, so you can use it as a small shortsword if you like, yes.
As you stand around, discussing what to do with the woman or actually doing things to make her seem incompetent, time ticks by. A minute, two? How long has it been since the bell rang? At least two minutes you all reckon.

Aqguazula |

Aqguazula will ponder on his past experiences, trying to remember what the punishment for dereliction of duty was on a pirate ship Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
He will look around on deck to see where Mister Plugg and Master Scourge are. Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Aqguazula will yell into the Crew berth," Come on, get up here! It's not our concern if some lazy bastard is sleeping on the job, let Mister Plugg or Master scourge deal with them" Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

Dacota Gupson |

Dacota bypasses Aqguazula and starts working for the day, doing his best to look like he is working, by actually working. Every once in awhile holding his side as a sting of pain shot through.
Being a Sailor: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

Aqguazula |

a goblin, a birdlady and a an elf/half walk up from below. Sounds like a setup to a terrible joke. Besides we're going to need to wait to see what will unfold.

Chandria |

Chandria throws her feathered arms up at the goblin pirate. "Do as you will, but I will not be responsible if anyone notices that weapon belongs to someone else."
She looks at the half-elf and continues, "Linnet, either hang on to the lock for now or give it to me and I will do as I said later today in the galley." Chandria turns to head upstairs, and looks back. "But come on, we have to get up on deck, and now!" She hurries on.
