Targeted Strike (Ex): At 7th level, as a full-round action the swashbuckler can spend 1 panache point to make an attack with a single light or one-handed piercing melee weapon that cripples part of a foe’s body. The swashbuckler chooses a part of the body to target. If the attack succeeds, in addition to the attack’s normal damage, the target suffers one of the following effects based on the part of the body targeted. If a creature doesn’t have one of the listed body locations, that body part cannot be targeted. Creatures that are immune to sneak attacks are also immune to targeted strikes. Ashlei stakes her claim and sinks her Star knife into Orange's forehead. Orange looks blankly into space for a moment before slumping to the ground dead.
Seeing this Yellow immediately slips back into the ethereal plane.

As the monster with Cass in its grasp started to fall he moved quickly to the striken mage doing his best to keep her from tumbling to the ground.
"Easy now Cass."
He muttered as he started to train his spear torwards the other creature who dissapated into the nethers again. He cursed as he moved Cass behind him with one arm the other holding the spear out warily.
"I hate these things. Everyone status. You good Rhialla love?"
He asked his eyes wandering about the place looking for the next threat.

Ok, I looked it up. Phase spider poison lasts for 8 rounds and has a cure of 2 consecutive saves. I've already done the first round.
2. Fort save, Con damage: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 6 - 1 = 24
3. Fort save, Con damage: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (1) + 6 - 1 = 6
Con damage: 1d2 ⇒ 1
4. Fort save, Con damage: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 6 - 1 = 20
5. Fort save, Con damage: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 6 - 1 = 24
That's two consecutive saves, so it's thrown off.
Cass shivers and mutters "It burns!" as she seems to fold in on herself, but against all odds after a minute she simply pants painfully and yet somehow remains alive.

Esmarelda jumped down from the wall and ran over to the group, grabbing Rhialla and bringing her close. "Don't react much, but there is someone in the building straight ahead. In the second story of it." She whispered as they came closer to the group. "Well they ran off instead of dying so, one of us is likely to go through what you went through... meaning you might go through it again..."

Sharing a look with Esmarelda, and giving her a subtle nod, Rhialla responds to Percy's question. " I’m relatively alright love. Bastard bit me and I felt a bit of a burn, but shook off the worst of it. C’mere Cass, it looks like you weren’t so lucky.” she says going over to the wizardess and beginning to inspect her wound, checking for a fever or any other signs of poisoning.

Cass definitely got a nasty spider bite, which is inflamed and warm, but it seems that not enough poison got into her to crawl up through her whole circulatory system. Still, she's a little bit weak and feverish. (3 Con damage)

If I make the throw IN the window then where we are shouldn't matter. It should mostly be contained. The item says I can throw it anywhere within 70 feet, and...'When a sphere arrives at the end of its trajectory'...then it detonates. The interior of the building's second floor should take the brunt of the blast, which was minor really.

She may be impetuous, but she's not completely stupid.
Growling in frustration, Ashlei carefully climbs back down.

She then proceeds to kick the orange-ish dead spider-thing until its head is a bloody mess. She punctuates each kick with a nasty curse or vile promise of things she plans to do to its buddies.
After about 5 minutes of that she stops, and pulls out some water. She then looks at the others staring at her suddenly.
"WHAT? Did I get something in my hair? It's red, so normal blood is harder to see usually..."

Esmarelda looked to Cassiopeia and nodded in agreement. "At least we can say we're never boring right?" She asked with a chuckle."However there was someone there for sure. We'll need to keep our eyes wide open, even more so apparently. First the damn spider things, then that ... What was it called again?"

We'll have to deal with that nightmare thing again. When we get to the door, everyone stay close to me as we go in. I have a few spells that might give us some protection against it." Rhialla says.

Sighing and nodding, Ashlei get ups and kicks the spider-thing's corpse one last time.
"I've been thinking too: Capn' Percy? Let me engage the monster directly, and you stand a bit back and wait to attack the thing with your long spear when it tries to cast a spell...or whatever it is doing with its magic. If you can hit it, it might keep it from finishing whatever nasty-ness it is trying to spew."

"Rhialla...can you determine if someones mind has been taken over. Ashlei here has an idea that didnt start with rush in and hit the thing hard."
He began with a chuckle.
"Seriously though, that's sound. Not sure if my pike can effect its spellcasting that way but its worth a shot."

Esmarelda laughed at bit at Percival's joke but nodded in agreement with the idea.

Frankly there's nothing else I can really do. This thing is immune to most of my magic anyway, and the haste spell was ruined by the phase spiders.

Ah okay. Doubling up on it does increase the spread, especially if you and I space out so the melee folk have good coverage. As an added bonus, moving from one magic circle to the outher should trigger the secod effect anyway as an added bonus.
Second, the subject immediately receives another saving throw (if one was allowed to begin with) against any spells or effects that possess or exercise mental control over the creature (including enchantment [charm] effects and enchantment [compulsion] effects, such as charm person, command, and dominate person). This saving throw is made with a +2 morale bonus, using the same DC as the original effect.If successful, such effects are suppressed for the duration of this spell. The effects resume when the duration of this spell expires. While under the effects of this spell, the target is immune to any new attempts to possess or exercise mental control over the target. Understood, but my magic armor does give me Negative Energy resistance '10', so I should only take half of that: Deathless Armor *10 points of positive or negative energy damage per attack that the wearer would normally take. The wearer has a 25% chance to ignore negative levels from any attack.
