Ashlei will lead the others back to the fort, in an arrow formation. Ashlei, then Esmarelda and Captain Percy, then Cassiopeia behind Esmeralda and Rhialla behind the Captain.
*Step one: We watch each other's backs as we approach, keeping an eye out for the spider-people. If they show, we turn and deal with them.
*Step Two: Otherwise, we make it back to the building with the monster-witch-ghost thing and start casting protections on us first.
*Step Three: We then enter as a group and Ashlei attacks the thing directly and get its attention, the rest of you remain at range and protect the spellcasters while we whittle away the monster's protections. Does that make sense?

"Let's take care. We are on a timeline for sure, but there isnt a need to rush in stupidly."
He said glad that he had his weapons back thanks to Cass's Unseen servant. He made his way to the other officers being left with the crew ashore giving a few last minute orders... To keep a group armed near some of the crew taking wood from the treeline to the south. To keep building the palisade. A couple of strong swimmers to check the cove they were moored in. Eventually the plan would be to make some sort of pier or floating dock from the beach outwards. Eventually they would need a place for settlers and real supplies to land.
He didnt want to get too ahead of himself, but three months wasnt that long a time really to start building a home base.

Basic plan: Ashlei remains front and center: Now the spellcasting begins! Once Rhialla gives the signal we are all ready, Ashlei will drink her potion of Protection from Evil, then we all rush in and I attack the thing as best I can to get it to focus on me. The others enter, but stay back focusing on spellcasting and defending the other spell-casters. I'm also assuming we are all fully healed and such right, since it has been a day later?

Quick question, it says attacks nearest creature. technially i am 5 feet from Ashlei and the monster is 5 feet away so we are both the closest creature . . . is it a 50/50 or does Ashlei's desire to hurt her captain give it the edge?

I was always taught touch spells don't usually 'discharge' unless you touch something. If you missed, then you are still 'armed' with the touch spell until you touch a target or you dismiss the spell. Right?
Obviously annoyed and pissed, Ashlei hisses at the others.
"Did it leave? Is it invisible? Or in another dimension-place like the spider people?"

Well, yeah, but that's a problem, because this spell has a duration of permanent, and is not dismissable, so now I'm holding the charge until I touch someone. Even a party member, or myself. I can't so much as pick my nose without cursing myself.
Holding the Charge: If you don’t discharge the spell in the round when you cast the spell, you can hold the charge indefinitely. You can continue to make touch attacks round after round. If you touch anything or anyone while holding a charge, even unintentionally, the spell discharges. If you cast another spell, the touch spell dissipates. You can touch one friend as a standard action or up to six friends as a full-round action. Alternatively, you may make a normal unarmed attack (or an attack with a natural weapon) while holding a charge. In this case, you aren’t considered armed and you provoke attacks of opportunity as normal for the attack. If your unarmed attack or natural weapon attack normally doesn’t provoke attacks of opportunity, neither does this attack. If the attack hits, you deal normal damage for your unarmed attack or natural weapon and the spell discharges. If the attack misses, you are still holding the charge.

He spat on the ground and once more reached to his gut that was still leaking out some of his life'sblood and glared at Ashlei. While not much he reached along his belt and pulled out a small potion to somewhat help the pain he was in.

He muttered removing his hand from the cut she had given him healed by his lover. He did give a slight smile now that he didnt feel nothing but pain.
"Im joking... mostly. Might have to punish you later somehow. Maybe a paddling."
He added his tone said he was joking still....maybe. He did frown for a moment.
"I dont feel 100% but we are better than before. Lets keep on the move and out eyes peeled still those spiderthings out there. Perhaps one will jump out and you can slap it. Stick close though."
