Severus "Shiv"
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
The rogue curses as he slips off the beam he has been walking along but he floats to the floor without harm. As soon as his feet sink into the muck he darts off past Erwin.
He'll full move to K23. His intention is to stay out of sight from the spellcaster Natalya.
Oscar Salt
Oscar gasps in surprise as his foe suddenly becomes slippery as one of the eel's he used to try to catch with his brothers back home.
"Oh". "So you wanna play rough do you". "I tried to do this without messing up your pretty face".
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 Unarmed Strike
1d3 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Non-lethal damage
Ellantera
Ellantera tries changing tactics, waving both hands in front of Natalya. "You are not being rational, Natalya. Do you want the satchel back? All you have to do is come with us and we will give it back. We will hold it as an assurance that you won't attack us again. Fair enough?"
Diplomacy (can I use the one you ignored earlier? Please?): 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2 Pretty pretty please?
DM Shisumo
I didn't ignore it - it just didn't work, for basically the same reason that she failed her save against Kassandra's charm hex and then attacked anyway: she's basically auto-hostile as long as Shiv (or, well, anyone who isn't her, actually) has the satchel and its contents.
Erwin and Galyna are the only ones with actions still to take.
DM Shisumo
Galyna's bolt hits the air directly in front of Natalya, but like Oscar's fist before it, some invisible protection shields her from harm, sending the bolt skidding away.
Natalya jumps down to the lower level.
Natalya's Acrobatics check to reduce the falling damage is an auto-success. The jump does provoke an AoO from Oscar, however, and if Kassandra's armed, she's about to get one as well, so you can both roll them if you want.
Kassandra the Seer
Kassandra looks surprised as the woman brushes next to her, jumping down unexpectedly. She feebly tries to stop her by slashing with her dagger, but she only cuts the open air. Frustratingly, she curses and throws her dagger towards the general direction in which Natalya attempts to flee but isn't even close.
1d20 ⇒ 7
Uraisa Ellsworth
If Natalya gets within ten feet or so of Urasia and she can do so without injuring any party members, she will cast Burning Hands at Natalya. If not, she will hold her action, hoping one of the tougher members could grab her.
Damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
DC 15 Reflex for half
DM Shisumo
Uraisa fires out a sheet of flame that wraps around Natalya, singeing her. Ref save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 A few wisps of smoke rise from her, but she seems largely unharmed by the magic. Still, that's the first actual damage she's taken so far...
Natalya's now on the lower level of the boarding house, forcing her way through the muck after Shiv. Everyone except Uraisa can take an action now.
DM Shisumo
Miet sends another blast of color into the face of the fleeing thief.
Natalya's Will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
The magic again stuns the woman, blinding her and making her twitch uselessly.
She's blinded and stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 1 rounds, then stunned for one more round after that. Now would be a good time to jump on her.
Ellantera
"Miet! Oscar! Galyna! What are you doing!? You are going to hurt her if you are not careful!"
I am assuming the others are headed down the ladder. Ellantera will shout at them, then realize she needs to get down there to aid her 'friend' from her other friends. She's so conflicted right now...
Severus "Shiv"
Glancing around the corner to see if the woman is giving chase, Shiv sees her enveloped and staggered by Miet's magical spray of color, "Knock the lass out Salt! Don't leave all that coin sittin' on tha table." Leaning, out of sight, back against the wall he opens and digs around in the satchel, "Let's see what all tha fuss is about, shall we?"
Spend the round looking through the satchels contents. He'll stash interesting looking things out of sight in his pockets and pouches.
DM Shisumo
In keeping with Galyna's last threat...
Galyna points her crossbow at Natalya and fires another shot at her.
Crossbow attack into melee: 1d20 ⇒ 5, damage 1d10 ⇒ 10
Galyna's care in trying not to hit Oscar or Erwin keeps her from hitting Natalya as well. Her eyes focus on the two men in front of her, but she doesn't seem able to do anything about them.
She's not blinded anymore, but she is stunned. You guys can all go again.
Ellantera
"Don't hurt her! Galyna, put that thing away! Just grab her!"
Ellantera will move back to the ladder and move down it as fast as she can manage in her armor. Once she's ten feet from the bottom, if she's stuck behind an ally, she will attempt to jump off to get around them.
DM Shisumo
So far, no one's actually helped Oscar - and even stunned she's also still greased, so I'm not sure this is the best plan...
Ellantera
Ellantera, not wanting to hurt Natalya, tries to grapple her, too.
If she was of her own mind, the gloves would be off. Just sayin'.
Grapple to aid Oscar since he got there first: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
DM Shisumo
I love the way the PRD is organized, sometimes. I just remembered today that you gain a +4 bonus to CMB checks against a stunned target, above and beyond the penalties the target is suffering to their CMD. Which means, incidentally, that Shiv's first try at snagging Natalya's sword should have worked, but we're enough past that I'm not going to retcon now. However...
Oscar, Uraisa and Ellantera manage to get a grip on the supernaturally slick thief, even as her eyes flutter into focus. Seeing herself surrounded she screams in fury, trying to twist away from the hands that grasp her and break free to chase after Shiv again.
Natalya's CMB check, with the grease bonus: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Shockingly, though, even her spells cannot buy her liberty, no matter how she struggles.
You guys are up again. Oscar needs to make another CMB check to hold onto her, but he has a +5 for maintaining the grapple and an additional +2 from Kassandra's flank (she may just be carrying a knife she can't really fight with, but it's good enough for the flanking bonus...). Additional +2 bonuses may be available via Aid Another. Go for it!
Severus "Shiv"
Shiv slings the satchel back over his shoulder as he comes back around the corner into the room. He chuckles to himself as he takes in the wrestling match, "That's the way ta git dirty with the lass Salt!" He points at each person with his dagger as he addresses them, "Uraisa, Salt, El, good job gettin' the lass ready ta be trussed. Ya two little people, (pointing at Erwin and Miet) git some rope and make use of it! Galyna, stop wavin' that 'bow round and go punch her til she stops strugglin'! Kas, keep standin' there jus' like yer doin' cause the gods know I need somethin' nice ta look at in this sewer." He saunters over to the tussle as he is giving commands.
Ellantera
Ellantera says, weakly because she knows they aren't listening to her, "There, you have her. Now go easy, OK?"
Tired, she goes to the pipe that had the occupant earlier. Looking in, she says, "We caught her, you can come out now."
