(A bit late but) Welcome back to the cybered fold Hawatari :)
Hey PH, I forgot the exact details, so correct me if I'm wrong; Tarnish had something in the shipment (or paid for the entire shipment) and that's why we had him as a person of interest to investigate, correct?
And s~~#ty about the eaten post. I think you might have about as good luck as I do with the ever hungry boards, lol.
My bad about not posting yesterday, woke up really late for work, and I can't get a solid enough signal to post at work. Which is kinda lame-sauce to be honest.

No problems.
This time, it was my own damn fault - consequence of trying to play PbP games while working is sometimes you hit the Esc key on the wrong keyboard and it eliminatest the post rather than backs out of the menu you thought you were working with.
Tarnish was a point of interest per Mister Johnson. He somehow acquired some of the missing shipment, and may have been the tip-off to the originator that something went awry.

Oh my, a Savalette Guardian you say. How sexy.
Glad to see that Jet is still finding work planet side, lol.

Uh, okay, I mistakenly thought we had left the shop before discussing run details. Having thought we had left, I had guessed the others would have headed towards the vehicles, not hover just behind Red while he talked to the gangers. My phone was almost dead and I knew I wasn't going to be around a computer until Monday, (shrugs shoulders) had to make due with what I vaguely remembered. I didn't even get the chance to mention I wasn't going to be able to post Sunday.
Synxol |
I think I misinterpreted this as meaning that there will be a daily positing expectation for the game.
Posting schedule: I will typically be able to post long and detailed (number crunchy) posts earlier in the day (GMT -5; 0900-1300 ish) and respond or create shorter RP driven posts later in the evening (1530-2300 ish).
Is our current pace of posting a lull - or will the game likely be traveling along at this speed?
psionichamster |
I am on and checking the posting.
Currently, the players are standing at the doorway of one lead - and specifically have stated that some of the PCs have not elected to move the scene along.
I will move the team to the next scene if no other actions are declared by the early PM tomorrow

FYI All: looks like we have two interested parties looking to join the game.
Both are elves, one a former Tir na'Nog "soldier" shaman, while the others a CalFree adept gunslinger.
Working on polishing their characters and thinking up a way to introduce them into this run (most likely a third party hire to seek out these missing crates or their thief), should have more details soon.
Cavan |
Okay, so if we say went to the touristy area, and needed disguises would vending machines selling flats also have holiday themed outfits, for an additional price of course. You know how corporate valentines day is, and of course half off chocolate day.
And if we were to purchase said holiday outfits, could I use my Fashion spell to meld the cheap holiday outfit into somebodies outfit or armor?
Hawatari |
Touristville isn't going to need disguises, really. Hell, Hawatari lives there, at least for now. (Lowest she's sunk in a long time.) The only time you really need a disguise is when you're pulling a penetration - and to be honest, a visible face-covering serves more as an alert than it does a disguise. "Bad guy about to do/actively doing bad things!!" A false face - nanopaste disguise, that sort of thing - is far better, though granted it's more expensive ...
Cavan |
Only reason I bring it up is because Cavan is po. Can't even afford the two extra letters. Nanopaste disguises are expensive, that's why I have Fashion (change your clothes) and Makeover (new hair, makeup, nails, etc). Put the two together and you can go trick or treating at the same house like five times. Facial recognition software will still get you, but the average guard probably won't.
The Wyrm Ouroboros |
"Than you should probably be paying closer attention. I've been using nothing but my eyes for a little while now, the lights where turned off 2 blocks ago. Not my first rodeo sweetheart, any thing else you'd like to tell me how to do, like how to drive, maybe how to breathe? I seem to forget how to do that." Red chuckles, the elf's unblinking gaze never left the road, flicking through Low-Light and Thermovision. 'Great, she's a back seat driver.' the rigger thinks to himself.
... dude. If you'd actually posted driving without lights, or turning your headlights off, this would be cool. Otherwise, c'mon.

Unfortunately, I must bow out of the game. I've too much going on in RL right now for me to reliably post. My sincere apologies to the group.
PH, I really enjoyed the game, and you've done an awesome job breathing life in to 5th edition Shadowrun, once again, thanks for letting me join.
You chummers have a great game!
