Lalali seems to be getting angry at ivars episodes and tries to wiggle free again.

So we got two people down, one dominated, and one not acting.. Which leaves two 3/4 bab archers to try and kill the BBEG that's not be wounded and has two images still? Do I have that right?

I have one prepared as well.. Shame to run with so many down.. I have no healing left and at 1/2 hp so I don't see us winning here tbh.


The barb failing his will save 2x is probably what hosed you. Thems the breaks of the dice. I suppose in theory I could wave a GM fiat wand and save your asses. I'll have to think about it as I'm never fond of being bailed out because the GM made things too nasty. In this case I'm pretty much using the encounter as written with a couple extra skeletons (since there's six of you) and they didn't even do anything but guard most of the time.

I wasn't asking for a fiat, just was wanting to make sure I understood the situation.. I haven't read up on this at all but I would guess the snake lady has at least 50 hp and I know her AC is at least 22 since my 16 failed to pop an image, which tells me a couple of sub +10 to hit arrows with 1d6+2 damage a round if we hit is not gonna get it done. Im not sure a cure wand would save this mess tbh.


What I mean by GM fiat wand is having you bailed out by your NPC buddies or something.

Not a lot to do about the bad will rolls. I would pop the smoke and run like heck... You guys would live and Ivar has a chance. If she has a dominated servant she may not kill him outright. Look how long she dragged the captain along. There is a possibility that you could get to her before she leaves, possibly even rescue Ivar.

Not gonna lie, dying sucks. It doesn't suck half as much as having a TPK, tho. So make a run for it and pray serpenthead won't be better prepared next time we face it.

She isn't interested in a pet monkey, when she leaves she will forget about you and let you loose.

OK Lady Snake Head leaves you all with her curt dismissal. Janz is able to stabilize everyone. You do understand that the door to this place is on a timer, and they will close and the water will flood the area eventually, so camping out here is not an option.


I feel like an ape indeed. Ignoring my spell like that! Can everybody walk? We should investigate what´s left quickly and then leave. Maybe we can find out what the snake wanted.

I believe the clw healed both of them enough to get them walking. If we are going to follow the snakelady, We don't want them at 1 HP each. So lets pass out the vials so people have them if they need them, instead of forgetting they are there. we have eight clw and one cmw left

You have some time to study the carvings before you leave. Since you need the information, we'll say you take a bit of time to collect it so you can actually continue on in the AP. Without the information (which you'd normally get off the corpse of snake head), you won't go any farther.

After some study while minding the hourglass you are able to discern the location of an ancient Azlanti outpost which could lead you to the fabled city of Saveth Yi.

While the scholars are collecting information, Ivar searches the room, When they appear to be done he responds to Malok's observation, nodding his head at the exit. "Well, as far a I can tell, that one is still on the island, and I would like another chance to kill it. So are we ready to go?"

Once the team has finished with the info gathering Ivar leads them back the way they came, out of the old temple onto dry ground.
