Malok, the East Wind
"It's this way.. Before we move in I'm going to cast some spells."
Malok, the East Wind
Malok points the direction of the camp.. "Im assuming they will have a watch, so let's not move in to hasty.."
Janzadar
Janzadar planned in buffing everyone with Bless, Ivar with "Shield Other" (if the DM allows it) and Weapon of Awe, and himself with Divine Favor. A well placed Wind Wall and Obscuring Mist if needed, and let the thunder roar!
Malok, the East Wind
"When we get close I'll send Talon here on a scouting report.. He's intelligent for a bird and should be able to give us numbers at least.."
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
awww, you caster types are so kind, I didn't get you anything. Those all sound like good ideas.
drbuzzard, will we be able to see the villiage/camp in enough time to buff and send someone/something to scout?
Ivar continues leading the team on the path that Malok pointed him down, keeping a keen eye out for anything dangerous.

Galittlehad smiles and jumps in excitement "Sneaky scout? Tis me who ye need, fellas! I will go in and out before those ugly cannibals even know it... I may eveneveget get the chance to stab one before I return, who knows."
The halfling scratches his chin while he thinks "If any of ye has a lantern I could signal how many of them there are and wait in ambush for your entrance without even retirning here."
drbuzzard
As you get vaguely close to the Cannibal camp, Malok sends his bird up to do a spy fly and take a look.
He comes back a reports that there's a bunch of huts, a large stone building, and a guardpost which overlooks the path into the camp.
(I'll get a map up shortly, though I'm gonna say the bird can't really give you a precise map of the place)
Malok, the East Wind
Yea it's int is only 7, so while much smarter than the average bird, not so smart in general.. I was thinking a rough count of visible enemies possibly?
Lalali-Re
So do you want to attack openly? There seems to be this guardpost and probably traps. Some kind of defense. Perhaps going around a bit, attacking from a different angle, taking out the guardpost and then different groups one by one might be best. Once we are in position, i will enlarge Ivar. What do you think?
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
The burning question... Can Janzadar cast Shield Other on Ivar?
Are you asking for Ivar's permission or drbuzzard's? Ivar is one of those rare barbarians in the minority, he Loves spell casters! Of course you can cast 'Shield Others' on him as far as he is concerned ;)
Ivar listens to Malok's description of the layout, and Lalali-Re's idea, he nods his head in agreement with her, smiling slightly. "I thing taking out the guard-post first is smart, If we can do it quick and subtle that would be fine too, but being enlarged sounds pretty appealing." Looking at the others for a consensus he begins to check his gear to make sure it will rattle as little as possible.

Tired of waiting for a bird to do what only a halfling should, Galittlehad says "Be back in a minute or two, mateis." and heads towards the encampment.
Moving from shadow to shadow, the pocket paladin tries to discern how many future shishkebabs are there and if he happens unto any alcoholic beverage, takes it.

Let's spice things up
Barton Savage
"Oh well, the first wave will come to us. We just need to break them and then they'll retreat back into the village."
"Think of it as 'divide and conquer' .... unless the first wave kills us and takes us back to the village for dinner."
"Either way, we're getting into that village."
Barton draws his longsword and sets his buckler on his arm.

You all must admit that guard is a lucky muthaf#~%a.
"By the Booze Master, looks like I'm short on luck. Have at thee!" yells the short change hero as he brandishes his toothpick.
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
I'm assuming that the Halfling is 'down by the village' and the rest of us are 'up by the treeline' or something. How far away is he, and have they seen the rest of us yet?'
Ivar shakes his head and looks at Barton, "Now you know why Tengus are considered good luck on a ship. They don't do stupid things. This will be the second Halfling we've lost. It's kind of depressing, they look like little kids."
Turning to Lalali he asks "So you think we should draw the cannibals away from the half-pint instead of slinking back into the jungle?"
Smiling as she starts to enlarge him. Half joking "If we wait to attack when their full on Halfling meat and tired, we might have a better chance at them and If we wait till he's eaten we won't feel guilty about not wasting the resurrection scroll on him."
Janzadar
Great, thanks, please count as if Janzadar cast Shield Other on Ivar a while back (it has a 3 hour duration).
Ivar gains a +1 deflection bonus to AC and a +1 resistance bonus on saves. Additionally, the subject takes only half damage from all wounds and attacks (including those dealt by special abilities) that deal hit point damage. The amount of damage not taken by the warded creature is taken by Janzadar.
Seeing that the cannibals have detected them, Janzadar casts Weapon of Awe on Ivar's greataxe.
"Now you have the might of Shimye-Magalla on you!"
The weapon gains a +2 sacred bonus on damage rolls, and if the weapon scores a critical hit, the target of that critical hit becomes shaken for 1 round with no Saving Throw for 30 rounds.
Initiative Roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Malok makes s surprised "wtf mate" face, sighs, and casts a spell on himself..
Casting Cat's Grace on himself and moves up 30'..
Init: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Malok, the East Wind
Well I didn't see a map, I thought we were still far away.. Retcon not to move up if noone else is..
drbuzzard
OK, combat map is up, assume you are 60' down the path, around a corner to prevent any chance of the guard seeing all of you.
init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
The cannibals alerted by the yelling of the guard on duty get moving like ants on a kicked anthill. They swarm all around the peck (but take double moves to do so, so no attacks).
PCs are up.
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
drbuzzard, it looks like we are at least a double move to engage in melee and I assume the trees between provide cover from ranged?
"Well the Halfling has provided a very small anvil for our hammer, Shall we see if we can save him?" turning to Malok he asks, "Can you get the one in the tower? I don't like the idea of them raining down whatever they can throw at us."
Ivar raging, moves forward drawing a Chakram as he goes and throws it at one of the cannibals. 2 "Blast, I may never find that in those trees."
AC 14, Move; 30 ft. drawing a Chakram attack: chakram, rage, large
attack: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 - 1 = 10 for damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 2) + 7 = 11

Well, now I'm f@@*ed. Royally f~@$ed, indeed.
Galittlehad knows he is about to get brutally beaten to death and later he is probably getting eaten.
This being pretty much contrary with his near term plans, the pint sized paladin tumbles between #2 legs, trying to casually stab him in his bottom afterwards.
Acrobatics to move through his square, which should hve a +5 to DC. Add another +2, as #3 would also threaten the square. Unsure if the others count too, as the rules aren't clear on that. Leaving it to DM fiat
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Rapier: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
