Against the trogs I was tqo rounds in Rage. Between waiting for them to uninivisibilize and looting, have two minutes already passed? If not, Kronug votes to wait before going updtairs

"Anyone here know how to read?" Rags asks as Trash Panda dances around with a drow magic book.
Sileth
" those look interesting. We can sit down and enjoy some light reading after the apocalypse. Let's keep moving"
got a new phone :) but the wayfinder app isn't working :( aarrrgghh
Rags McRory
Trash-Panda tosses down the book and chitters at Rags in disgust.
"He was hoping for dark-elf raccoon porn..." Rags translates for the others benefit.

You are in Q9 on the map.
The stairs from the first floor wind up to a balcony that crosses through the center of the tower to another set of stairs continuing up to the third floor. These stairs are just as steep as those below and count as difficult terrain for those
who climb them.
Stairs lead on up.

I liked Up well enough. Overall my enjoyment outweighed my disappointment of how the whole movie completely fell apart by the climax.

I did enjoy Up. So let's go up

Still flying, Rags floats along over Kronug to keep with the theme.
Trash Panda hangs onto his leg.

reflex : 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15 doh: 34 - 58 = -24
That's what I get for not topping off the my hps between combats
Edit: the blazing robe reduces the fire damage by 5. so only -20hp

Marckus
Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 Whew
Marckus barely manages to take cover in time to avoid getting blown up.

He then waits for other people to do stuff, as per his usual.

The sadistic part of my soul is tempted to argue that I did ask for a two minutes break to regain rage so the two 'casters' should have asked for healing. The antimagick part supports the idea. But rational thought -and a desire not to face the fireball happy guy alone- prevail, I thank our GM for the retconned channels
Reflex: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Kronug's senses activate in the nick of time and he manages to twist and flex his way out of the fireball's heat.
And about that break I mentioned and asked for, did I get it? Because I would appreciate Supersticious and witch hunter right now, also Reckless Abandon. Also, is the caster invisible? Cuz I don't see its token

From Rage: A barbarian can end her rage as a free action and is fatigued after rage for a number of rounds equal to 2 times the number of rounds spent in the rage. A barbarian cannot enter a new rage while fatigued or exhausted but can otherwise enter rage multiple times during a single encounter or combat.
Which maked the 2 minutes pointless. I sort of thought it was minutes but I'm pretty sure 4 rounds have already passed since the trogs
Also, perception to smell/hear the caster since the fireball's initial bead must have come from somewhere

The kellid doesn't hesitates before charging head&sword first towards Fireball Guy.
"MAGIC YOURSELF OUT OF THIS!" Kronug screams as he swings his sword with titanic strength and powered by his seething hatred of magic.
Entering Rage & Charging him. Adding 2 from charge, 3 from Witch Hunter. Remove the latter if he doesn't have any spells or SLA and used a wand or whatever

Kronug keeps his fighting stance in case there are other enemies but yells "I THINK I FOUND A MAGICKAL INVISIBLE CORPSE!"
Marckus
"Hey, it looks like Kronug remembered how to fight!" Marckus cheers. "Er... I guess that means I'm back on bench." He slumps his shoulders and moves forward to kick the invisible corpse.
Sileth
the barely standing Sileth is appropriately impressed with Kronugs prowess but has a hard time praising him out loud, fearful of never hearing the end of it.
Sileth limps his still smoking body over to where Kronug is kicking at the invisible body "nicely done Meatshield :)" and then begins rummaging through the invisible corpse, looking for magic that the mage that nearly killed him must possess.
Ulthar the Warped One
Wait, did we win? I blinked.
"Good work Kronug. That was positively Ulfen of you."
Perception for more dickery: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

On the corpse when it appears in about a minute you find:
handy haversack, signet ring , shadow key, magic staff
1,000 gp in diamond dust, spellbook (contains all prepared spells, all wizard illusion spells from the PH up to 5th level, and four other spells of your choosing of levels 1 through 4)
The shadow key will get you back home through the portal you entered. The module was supposed to convey that the baddies are trying to redo Earthfall. They were in this shadow duplicate of the past to figure out exactly how to get it done. The practice small runs from the previous modules (on the island) are the lab tests. Now you have to move on to deal with the real threat. You level to 9 now.

Made from bleached bones that have been fused together, the head of this staff burns with an unholy fire. This staff can be used as a +1 flaming quarterstaff (only one end of
the staff bears magical enhancement), and it retains this property even if all its charges are drained. This staff can cast the following spells:
• Ray of enfeeblement (1 charge)
• Scorching ray (1 charge)
• False life (1 charge)
• Fireball (2 charges)
• Animate dead (3 charges)
no idea on the ring
the shadow key is minor artifact level and probably opens a magic portal
Did the trash panda save?
