Volk Tulmere
Eventually Volk starts to calm down and joins in carrying the box, " A man must be able to carry things.. I'll try and get better at this. " He makes sure to keep an eye out for any weird movements from the passerbys but is generally focused on travel. " Miss K-Kertria, what all do you wish to research? "
Ternock
With the Absinthe sold, Ternock adresses the group telepatically.
So how much does this make per person including the other loot that we have gained?
Ternock eagerly awaits the answer, almost frothing at the mouth wih antisipation!
Volk Tulmere
Volk is quiet, because he seems to be using an Abadaran abacus while making calculations based on weight, distribution and pawn price. They had to find buyers, both black market and otherwise, to acquire the items with no real inquiry into where they got it. At the end Volk is handling alot of gold silvers and coppers. " Ternock it shall be done in a moment. It should not be long for those of the dragon-variety... last I checked at least. Okay , where was I, Sold the Studded Leathers, Carry the 5 from the Absinthe... "
Volk Tulmere
Volk finally finishes his calculations and sighs in relief " Ummm... we have roughly Three Hundred gold a person.. save for Mr Gramlag and Miss Strigala... they have less. So You may be able to purchase whatever you need " Volk looks around the market seeing how varied the merchants and wares are.. if anything fit his fancy.
So what does Riddleport count as for the purposes of purchasing items?
Gramlag
"well i came laiden to the gills with all the gear i needed from me clan home, so i have no need to visit shops yet, but i will certainly join yo all through out the markets, I believe the first stop should be to the armorer as per Ternock's request?" Gramlag stated, clearly trying to move folks along with their duties but in a tone that implied no rush just desire to check items of the list for today
Volk Tulmere
Volk spilled information in an outright monotone manner. " Miss K-Kertria would like to visit the Cyphermages and perhaps purchase something; Miss Shade has her purchases I believe; I require nothing but am thinking of healing; Ternock wishes for armor; Miss Strigala received a chainshirt but I am unsure of what more. Let us retrieve all of our wares then land at the Cyphermages for now. Ternock's armor should be ordered at least. " Volk starts walking to the armor merchants.
DM Tuyena
The party should be able to purchase most things they desire, merely denote them in ooc.
Arriving out front of the Cypher Lodge you immediately notice it is one of the largest buildings in all Riddleport. It's deep blue walls a contrast from the brown and grey of most of Riddleport structures.
The grand structure of stone and timber sits perched upon a lonely crag nestled against the very slope of the mountains that surround Riddleport, and provides a panoramic view of both the gulf and the city. More importantly, its three wings look directly out over the Cyphergate.

Ternock
Ternock will go with Gramlag to purchase the armor he desires.
Masterwork Chainshirt Barding 250gp, Leaving 50gp that Volk will hold onto.
After many strange looks from other buyers in the market, Ternock will wear his new barding proudly. Puffing out his draconic chest and flexing his muscles to check the fit. (if he wasn't able to just buy it and had to order it, he will act antsy and fidget on Gramlag's shoulder.)
Ternock
Eccentric wizards be praised! Ternock yells and takes to the air after he gets the armor on. Ternock flys around expertly, as if no loss in mobility was gained from the armor. After causing a sufficient scene he lands on Gramlag's shoulder heavily and then gives his head and wings a florish before modeling the look to Gramlag.
Gramlag
"the craftsmanship on that certainly looks fine me friend, there certainly are all sorts when yu get into larger towns, me clan holm doesnt have alot of outsiders so we never had these varied needs. Im happy i could point you in the right direction for the armor, that suit should protect you quite handily, no more pincushion dragons for us"
Gramlag smiled as Ternock seemed quite pleased with his purchase and was glad his friends could make use of the training he had growing up more than just the fighting part
"so what is this cypher lodge for and what business have we here? ill admit to knowing very little of this place and would love to be filled in"
Volk Tulmere
" Miss K-Kertria did, she was researching.. something I believe.. and is one who uses magic. I personally wish to be here to ensure nothing bad goes on. I think Ternock will also be better served not to fly out in the open to be the sole target.. maybe.. perhaps. " Volk had taken his cash and seemed to be hoarding it for some strange purpose.
He walks toward the door and in unless something stopped him.
Volk Tulmere
Volk looks down and then looks back at the group.. He pulls with all his might until his hand slips an he falls on his arse. He was truly weak, doors were clearly his bane. " I think... they are closed for the day? Or maybe.. you need a special password? Or maybe a key? We can go back and ask the boss if there is anything we need to do.. Alright then" Volk got up, dusted himself off and headed back to Saul at the Golden Goblin to ask him
Kertria Orlevirrea
Arriving right behind Volk and Gramlag, Kertria sees them struggling with the door.
"Oh? Do you two have business with the Cyphermages as well?" She steps forward, looking at the door. "Do you think they open by pushing them?"
Volk Tulmere
Volk leaps into the air and falls on his back as Kertria seems to get so close, He creates a barrier to hide behind to mask his shame as if it didnt happen and then scurries away, trying to catch his breath.
Volk Tulmere
Volk looks pathetic as Gramlag holds on to him and tries to hide his face. " Y-Yes there is... " There is a shade of purple underneath, he is fidgeting and clearly wants to get away, starting to squirm.
Gramlag
Gramlag releases Volk but as he does so he whispers to him "She is just a lass me boy, and may have a liking for you, if you dislike that idea then i suggest you speak to her about it, if we get jumped again i want you focused, not worrying about your proximity to a lady. I say this as someone who means you no harm and is looking out for you ok lad?"
Gramlag is uncertain why Volk is making such a big deal over Kertria's thanking him last night but hopes the boy gets over it, the lass is a fair one and he would rather the boy took his chance then squandered it
Gramlag steps up to the door saying to Kertria "Or perhaps lass we simply knock?" as he raises a hand an raps solidly several times on the door
Volk Tulmere
" I AM PERCEPTIVE AS ALWAYS! Thats the problem. I will perform the proper techniques needed to deal with any fights Mr. Gramlag. "
Volk finally stands up after calming down and shouts to the box, " How long does an apprenticeship take? Also What is an apprenticeship? "
Kertria Orlevirrea
It's fine, my computer wigged out on me and only just got fixed myself.
Raising an eyebrow at Volk's still odd behavior, Kertria shrugs and looks at the person in the peephole. "I may be interested in an apprenticeship. But specifically I request access to your research about the Blot. My people are interested in it as you no doubt are."
Volk Tulmere
Volk looks at the man for a good long while... he wasnt sure what " Touched " meant but he was fairly sure it was not a good feeling or meaning. Or maybe everything from this man's voice was like that. He wasnt sure at all really and thus titled his head to the right staring unnervingly at the man.
Volk Tulmere
Volk looks to Gramlag and the back to the man.. and then Kertria. " Last I checked, gold was alot of... gold. 20 gold is more than..a nights stay at an Inn.. maybe a weeks worth.. Is this a weeks worth of stay? "
Gramlag
Giving the man a look and then turning to volk Gramlag states in a tone that implies irritation "I dought there is any entry fee at all but we cant exactly kick in these doors, Kertria lass, if you need to enter we can wait for you out here and you can do your reasearch, ill not rush ya"
DM Tuyena
Deciding that for now at least the Cypher Lodge's pricing was too high, the party heads back to the Gold Goblin.
Upon their arrival as evening begins they find the hall filling up for the night with eager gamblers.
The party can spot Saul over at his usual place at the bar, conversing with two new faces. You can tell by their attire that no doubt Saul has found more "biters".
Noticing the parties arrival, Saul points to you all and the two new faces make their way towards you.
Our two new players may introduce themselves to the party. As well, please everyone post in the discussion thread if you still have interest in continuing the game so that I can find replacements and we can get this things rolling along again at a good clip. We've stagnated for far too long.

Volk Tulmere
To be fair some of it was you but thats fine
Volk is jittery and stands behind Gramlag and fails at being LESS conspicuous. The gaunt, slightly less pale man looks at the two with the eyes of one staring at animals.
Ternock
Ternock sees the new "biters" and smiles. Hmm, I simply must come up with some names for these two. He thinks to himself. He will sit quietly on Gramlag's shoulder. Simply watching the two.
Sabola
A half orc wearing sailor garb glances at Saul and then to the newcomers. "You don't know me, but we had friends in common. Years ago an elf Wizard called Castian helped my mother. About six months ago, she managed to contact me and tell me that Castian needed her help protecting another young Wizard named Balthazar. Now Saul tells me I'm too late for Balthazar, but if you will have me, I'd like to serve in his place."
Volk Tulmere
Volk goes up and places his hand out.. staring unnervingly at the half orc person. " I am Volk " a slight wisp of dark purple screen across his face but he doesnt seem all that concerned. His arms look lithe and almost atrophied rather than any sort of muscle. his clothing is similarly modest, Blackened vest and leather pants with a cotton shirt and belt. The boots are worn greyish, but have a buckle each.
Ternock
Ternock's head perks up at the name "Castian" and then again at the name "Balthazar," a sadness seems to overcome the tiny dragon... a few moments pass and Ternock swallows hard. With a somber look, he begins to speak. What is your name?
Ternock looks as if he is in a deep thought. You seem to fit the part of someone from Riddleport. But you are half orc correct?
Ternock looks to Saul. Should we expect any issues from old Croat if this half orc joins our ranks. Or have you already come up with a "not in the business anymore" scheme involving him?
Looking to the dwarf now... the one with no beard. Ternock smiles, Well I know you will get along with Lil'Beard here. Nodding at Gramlag. Good to have you aboard Beard-Be-Gone!
Volk Tulmere
+1 Heresy, should I keep a tally for that too?
Volk looks at the dwarf and the Half-orc his hand still out... he places another out for the Dwarf to shake.. appearing much like some human coat-rack.
Gramlag
Gramlag has a chuckle at Volks social issues once again rearing their head and takes a moment to introduce himself to sabola "Nice meetin ya lad, glad to have ya along, this town aint kind and the more on me side the better"
Turning to Runa, Gramlag takes a moment to smooth his beard with his hand then offers it to her in greeting "Ill be honest lass Im even more glad to see another dwarf, our kind isnt that common away from our mountains so its warms me heart to have one be joinin me in endeavors. If you be needed help with anythin lass just let me know, Im no ashamed to admit a bias to me own kind."
