Alright just a quick update guys, I'm at work currently but I see we're still missing a few. During my break I'll try to fill out the campaign info tab with some things. Once I get home provided everyone has checked in by then the first game play post will come down.
Expect that to be around 11pm tonight. So for most of you I expect the campaign will actually begin tomorrow morning.
As this is my first PbP and some of you are quite experienced, if you see anything you think I can improve on or general advice you want to give I'm all ears.
In addition I'd like for each of you to sign up for a Roll20 account if you don't already have one as I think I'm going to use that to handle our mapping. I'm used to using it from when I ran my gaming sessions live and it's the only one I've found that at least somewhat works while on a phone.
If you have a better suggestion though feel free to let me know.
I'm excited to begin and be playing with all of you.
Alright, now is probably a good time to pan this out. Lilica is probably going to be there with a client. If any of your characters would want her particular brand of companionship, you can probably be the one she's there with. Otherwise, I'm sure the DM and I can do a temp NPC for that.
You can now find the button to join the roll20 session in the campaign info tab.
Once you've joined up please let me know and if your account name is different from your characters please tell me.

Glad to see everyone found their way onto roll20 now. If anyone has any questions on it let me know, Ive been using it for ages now.
Also, sorry I missed my late night update yesterday.
Ok I see a lot of inquiries about the card game.
We can take this two ways as there are rules for both. The players can actually play the game, or if you want to move through the section faster we can use rolls instead to determine the outcome.
Also Strigala, when I saw your post.
I'm all for either though I had grasped the game just by the description so it might just be more fair to do the rolls to make a more organic representation of chance and instead have our characters describe the game being played.
IF it's decided you would all rather roll instead then simply make a charisma check come the end of your next few posts and I'll detail the results.
Alright Kertria you got this in the bag your at the table with two terrible charisma people. Either way should be fun.

Lol I stayed up all night waiting for something to happen and nothing did.
Gonna go to sleep now, I'll be back in about 6 hours. You have until that time to roleplay however you see fit. My next post when I get back will be to push the story forwards.
Bluff check from original version of this post resulted in a 1, with a total of 5 with Charisma bonus.
I am letting you know for the sake of honesty, and plan to keep to that result next post when she actually tries the bluff.
Could you please put the link to the map in the "Short description" info tab of you Campaign info?
That way, it remains always visible and usable

I have now implemented player token based lighting.
Lilica hasn't posted yet, I'm going to wait till I get off work in 3.5 hours. If she has yet to post by then, I will have her cast cure light wounds on herself and end the round.
Expect that post to come down around 10:15-10:30.

First time I got in character conflict, and very fast indeed.

As the side note, I, as a player, apologise to Balthazar's player. Never wanted him to die. I truly believed that Gabsen would either kill the one eyed woman first, or that he would be her target.
Now, as a character, Gabsen doesn't think he was wrong: war makes victims, and the woman had to be stopped.
You may want to re-acquaint yourself with the rules for readied actions Gabsen. Hopefully we'll be able to get this sorted out soon and then we can move on :)
