Cathelyn. If the bard was not the last. My raven would have been your sparring partner.
edit:(he is like that)

Irisus, I'm curious how you managed to make your barbarian a librarian. I know it's not pertinent to this game we're currently playing, but since I love playing against type and I'm attempting to play a smart, defense-oriented barbarian (at least until we reach level 2 and she's trained to become what her ancestors were and what she should be,) I would like to know how you did it.
Would you consider telling me?

... I just have taked a trait from pathfinder society campaing book (he is from the "evil" faction). They give you access to the profession (librarian)
PFS Legal Librarian
Source PFS Guide to Organized Play 6.0 pg. 14
You are trained to manage and maintain books, and you find it easy to procure information from tomes. You gain a +1 bonus on Linguistics or Profession (librarian) checks, and one of these skills (your choice) becomes a class skill for you. Once per day when you would gain a bonus on a skill check from reading a book, you can increase that bonus by 1.
he is not core. he is still an almost naked man with tremendous muscles but he is working in a library. (It seem that he has good suggestion of romance novels and recommend Danielle steel.) I am just give him the full rank on that. It is very useful for the faction mission. Someone who know how to search the book you find is more helpful than you think.
He likes fighting, but don't attack the first or continue the combat if there retreat from either side.
As for defense. I think that Cathryn should have a shield.

That is sad that the we are in a game core for that. the unchaîned barbarian can be able to fight using his dexterity with the modification to the rage. (it give undefined + to attack and damage )

I am in the middle of fixing a plumbing disaster in our apartment but hopefully I will have it fixed soon and post in a little while! My summer break also just started up, so I'll be posting more frequently.

A barbarian whose Profession (librarian)? Illerate may hold you back somewhat?

He reads common and hallit. His intelligence is normal.

Ah you are right. Something that changed from 3.5.
| Mike the GM |
First fight coming up soon! Hope you're ready.
The detect magic did not ping anything significant.
| Mike the GM |
Hey all -- Unfortunately circumstances have unexpectedly changed for me and I will not have the sort of regular, daily internet time that I thought I was going to have this summer. I won't be able to keep up with posting in any play-by-posts. I hate to back out so soon after getting started, but if any of you is willing to step up and GM, or if you find another person willing to GM for you, I should be able to transfer the threads over to them.
My sincerest apologies. I wish I could find a way to make it work, but at the pace I will be able to post this summer, we wouldn't be done for months!

Probably just as well. I was thinking that I was in too many PBPs at the moment and was developing mild-schizophrenia jumping between different character mindsets. Also I'll be away for a week in a fortnight's time.
Take care, Mike.

Sorry to hear that, but thanks for telling us instead of just disappearing.
I can offer to take over the GM responsibilities if there are enough players left to continue.
Beorin Boulderstep

Thank you for letting us know. GM Mike
Thank you for stepping up Renedar.
If any is still interested, I'm still in.

Sorry to hear that Mike, but I think we've all been there before and totally understand. As others have said, thanks for the heads up instead of just vanishing (which happens more than you'd imagine). Having run the PFS Scenario that I authored as a PBP, I was really looking forward to having a chance to PLAY in a game run by the author as well. Perhaps another time.
Renedar: I am more than willing to play if you are willing to pick up the table!
Beorin Boulderstep
|
Wow! Two authors of the scenario I'm playing in....Awesome
Cathryn Nesteruk
|
Wow. It's an honor to play with the author of any published scenario, in my opinion.
And Renedar, if you don't mind a defense-oriented, rage only when she absolutely must intelligent barbarian who should have been a druid and will become one when she can find a teacher and reaches second level, I'd like to stay.
Beorin Boulderstep

Heck playing wth any of the authors is great.
Tariq Jalal
|
Awww shucks. I'm just this guy you know...
Renedar, if you don't want to fully commit to all three parts I understand totally. If you are willing to at least finish this part off that'd be super!
Beorin Boulderstep
|
I can take over the other parts just so that he gets a chance to play. Just give me time to get those scenarios. :P
Beorin Boulderstep

I'm good with that. Here's hoping to that they find the problem.
GM Baerlie

You read the text to posts above, right?
Could you please be less impatient, I'm doing this for fun and not because I have to and I don't owe anybody anything only because I'm the GM. I took over the GM duty to keep this game running, but I don't want to be kicked in my a** all the time...
Tariq Jalal

I was going to post something myself along the same lines...you already have given a heads up that things might be slow so...you are good in my book.
Know that your effort to GM is appreciated, even if players sometimes have funny ways of showing it :)

Sorry.... It seem that I forgot to read that last post.... Sorry, I am really sorry. I sometime forgot the power of words. I was worried that you had abandon us. (I am an anxious person in RL.)
Beorin Boulderstep

Let is be said here, if our current GM is too busy to run. I'll step up. So put your worries to rest.
RL can be a harsh task mistress at times. :P
I know. I always seem to run afoul of her. :P
