I did. Couldn't you see the quizzical expression on my face?
Oh, no, of course not. The mask.

Also, it's been a while-- what does RITS stand for again? I'm notoriously bad with acronyms.
It's us'ns... the Relay repair team. He's wearing our uni.
Relay Inspection Team Something: RITS.

OK, I figured it was something like that, but all my mind could come up with was "Rochester Institute of Technology."
Wait, we have a new player?
Male Celestial Cleric of Myself 10/Radiant Servant of Me 10
We're putting Theron through the ringer a little bit, I know. A character with that background will have to prove himself, and I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities for that.

No worries, I wasn't offended. Though if it keeps up I should be rolling in Fate Points ;). It's literally my Trouble after all

You know Dern would take that question at face value.
Celestial Healer wrote: You know Dern would take that question at face value. Definitely getting some Lost Skeleton of Cadavra vibes from that guy from time to time...
"Can we get you anything? A drink, perhaps?"
"Yes, liquid, please."
Please bear with me-- work season has started back up, so I'm generally not going to be posting responses as quickly as I was over the winter.
Yes, please. Dungeon Master Player 15/Dungeon Master 13/Monk 2(I'm out of practice!)
Are the RITS bunks in one big bunkroom, or are they separate rooms?

As this is mass effect, I will say that they have one big bunk room but a room large enough for privacy.
Of course the second I take my eyes off the PbP is when everyone decides to post...

I'll be away for the long weekend, which for us Canucks, begins today. See everyone Monday.

This being an Alliance vessel, I had to arrange for a case of this to be available here. It’s better fresh, but the canned stuff will do in a pinch.”. He happily shares some with Grace and eagerly watches her, waiting for her reaction after the first bite. I have to admit, I have no idea what this would taste like...
Treppa wrote: Caviar and waffles? Apparently, that's a thing.

Probably. Since salarian’s have a somewhat amphibious vibe, I imagine them eating things like roe, tadpoles, and other sorts of slimy frog fare.
But obviously Dern has acclimated to certain human foods as well. The most heavily processed foods tend to be the most broadly palatable (look at little kids’ favorites), so I lean into those (like waffles and chicken nuggets).

Ok, folks. I'm going to be heading out of town for the next two weeks to a place where I have no wifi and the towers are spotty -- all that to say, my access to the interwebs will be sketchy at best from tomorrow (Saturday the 31) until the Monday the 16th.
I imagine I'll pop in a bit at night when possible, but, don't count on me over the period. Feel free to bot as necessary -- basically, brood a bit, glower some, and if need be, use Charge (or his stealth shield) to get close then hack up the dude with Theron's sword.
Please bear with me everyone, my brain's pretty cooked from work, and isn't running particularly quickly...
Well, I tried. Suggestions?

Going to be out of town from the 4th until the 12th, and internet access will probably be spotty. Will post if/when I can.
On Noveria, Grace being a fish out of water is a bit of an understatement. More like a fish in the microwave.

On the phone with someone making a referral to my program. Talking to older Haitian men is like talking to an elcor sometimes.

Me: "Under no circumstances will I sign anything without having my attorney give this a full workup. I'll have your answer some time next month."
My character: "Sure, I'll sign anything you hand me. Will you be my friend?"

We just signed up for a Human Centipede experiment, I bet.

I'll be away on a family holiday starting tomorrow (the 27) and back the 5th -- but given the need to unpack with small child, probably not actually able to be online to catch up and post before the 8th.
In the interim, Theron will stand back, watch and brood. Unless you need him to break into stuff. Or stab something.

Sorry for the delay. Had a lot to do of late between my boss retiring/leaving because he didnt want to get inoculated, my job being me and one other person, and getting a second interview for a potential dream job, I've been busy, but I'm back now.

No, Millipede.

I would think we would seek out our objective, rather than drawing things out here longer than we must.

That would certainly suit Theron. He gets pretty single-minded about objectives.
Hestia doesn't even want to be on Noveria, so leaving is fine. Or going straight to objective, then leaving.
Please bear with me, I've been trawling through six years of posts trying to remember what our objective is...
I think this might be it, but can anyone else remember any more details?

So then we should probably go case the place, then take a couple of hours in bars or whatever to hear if there are rumours about that place -- and then come up with a brilliant plan that lets us slide in and out like ghosts.
Male Celestial Cleric of Myself 10/Radiant Servant of Me 10
That sounds like a perfect plan, as long as we can add a few explosions.
So, exploding ghosts... hmm, time to stat up a new monster.

Since it’s been awhile - was our goal to have someone in disguise do recon? We don’t all need disguises for that (and four of us showing up might attract attention.)
Yep, but it won't hurt us to have more available in case the first recon doesn't work out for some reason.
Hestia's just asking for a uni source, not for her in particular.
Male Celestial Cleric of Myself 10/Radiant Servant of Me 10
I decided to resume my play of the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and just did the Noveria mission. Noveria is such an awesomely awful place.

"They call it Dragon Age because that’s how long it’ll take to come out."
