While waiting for the ship to land, Thomagar plays around with the ship's computers. "Huh, that's strange. The asteroid has no atmosphere and is primarily composed of rock and metal. That's not the unusual part. The sensors are picking up no additional information, as if the Drift Rock itself is interfering with the sensor readings."

Thomagar glares at the departing ship, as if it was a personal insult. "There is some foul play here indeed," stating the very obvious.

You do not fathom the special nature of this place. It has been around for eons, once part of a greater celestial body RZMR says, pointing to the sheared surface, and yet, despite its age, unmarred by any impact. A special force protects this rock.

A dead humanoid body floats in this cavern. The corpse is that of a human male. It’s still wearing an estex suit with a patch that reads “ACREON,” identifying it as a member of the mining ship’s crew.
The dead crew member is wearing an estex suit I with a backup generator armor upgrade and is holding an empty survival flare gun.

There isn't an identifying mark on the corpse from what you can tell, though with the roster you can likely identify them later. You missed an operative "Not" there, Pangea ;)

"That poor man. Dying out here all alone and just left to float here. If we weren't stranded here without a shuttle i'd suggest we take him back with us. For now i guess there's nothing we can do for him so we should keep moving forwards. We still need to look for any survivors further ahead."
Onward in the same direction seems fine to me.

Four tunnels exit this cavern to the north, south, east, and west. Strangely, however, while the south and west passages are hewn rock, the north and east passages are finished and lined with some sort of polished, metallic plating on the walls, floors, and ceiling.
More pressing, however, is the strange zombie-like creature with a pronounced tongue-like appendage that is alerted to your presence! It’s strange, dead eyes are filled with hunger and it starts to lurch towards you!

Then Pangea moves forward and to the side, and shoots, smacking the thing right between its dead eyes, with a powerful shot.

The barrage of attacks continue! Cestkion strides in and pops off another quick shot, not quite enough to take down the thing. The goblins also bounce along, firing! Well, one fires, and his shot causes the void zombie to crumple to the ground.
The other's gun just <click>s and the goblin exclaims mutely "Oops." He fumbles with the wiring for a few seconds, then rushes back the corridor; a few of you can see tosses the gun, which explodes a few seconds later.
With closer inspection, the void zombie appears to be the remains of a prospector wearing a space suit, but the lower half of its helmet is shattered, and a repulsive, bloated blue-gray “tongue” hangs from the remnants of the zombie’s lower jaw—the feeding tendril of the larval akata inside, now slain.
You don't find anything more interesting there. Do you re-arm the goblin with the other junklaser, or a different weapon? Also, which way next: East, South, or investigate the cave with the tracks back near where you came in?

Pangea smiles at the Goblin that finished the Void Zombie off, and hands a spare junklaser to the now disarmed one.

Thomagar nods in approval. While the goblins are not particularly deadly so far, he appreciates their help regardless of their reputation.
"I would like to return back to the front of the cave. Perhaps we should have examined the tracks further. Might give us some clues of what is happening."

Tinker connects, causing the android to recoil in pain (replicated in lifelike hologram!). She looks like she considers a decidedly lethal attack on one of her assailants. She could lift up into the air with her jump boots, and maybe take the annoying solarian right in the eyes with her laser pistol... but it's unlikely she would last another volley, clones or no. With a pronounced sigh, she drops her weapon. "Fine, fine. You win. You've beaten me twice, and I have no desire to die today."
She totally would have crit... except I realized with Tinker and Jadzia's hit she dropped below her morale threshold. Oh, well.
| GM Wolfspirit |
The android nods at the other androids. It's a regular android convention there. "Yes.. I was hired to prevent you from investigating the Acreon, but I wasn't expecting that shuttle to be quite so well armed. Nothing personal, mind you, just a job. One that I'm clearly not going to be able to collect on, given that I'm stuck on this Rock."
She thinks a bit, mulling things over. "Look, if we can possibly not bicker and argue about who tried to kill who, I'm looking to get off of here probably as much as you all. Unless I was mistaken when I heard the ship fly off? In any case, I just want out, and my only way is either with you or through you. The later failed, so I'm willing to try the former... if you're willing to let me keep my weapons."
Jadzia Bainbridge

sense motive: 1d20 + 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + (1) + 4 = 9 Well that was a terrible roll!
"That sounds like a sensible idea to me. We don't know what else we're going to face in this place. We've already fought some blue lion looking alien things and some kind of parasite zombie!"
Thomagar Dayana

"If we give you chance, what is to stop you from shooting us in the back when we find a way off this rock, and return declaring your job done?"
Not even going to try with Thomagar's -1 to sense motive. :)

The android appears to be telling you the truth. She sighs and adds, pointing at the tiny recorder drone that is still flying behind you, "Look. My job was to prevent you from exploring the Acreon and Drift Rock. Clearly I've failed, regardless of whether you get out or not. Besides, I'm not in much condition to stab you now, regardless."
Thomagar Dayana

Somewhat mollified, Thomagar turns to the rest of the party. "Well, much as I am still not totally convinced, I'll allow her to accompany. Better to have her with us then behind us. What say you?"
I have no objections.

It looks like we had two "leans to allow her to join." I'm going to go take that as a "rule of 2" and go with that here in a bit unless there's a strong disagreement.

Rule of 2 it is. The android will join
The android raises a brow at the mixture of hostility of resignation, giving a grim laugh. "Well, you certainly know how to show a girl a welcome. My name is Clara-247, but the way"
Venturing back the way you were exploring previously, you come to a large room. Two passages exit this cavern, one to the northeast and one to the northwest. An incongruous door, more akin to what onewould expect to find on a space station, stands in the south wall. More important, however, two more void zombies lurch towards you!
