Arraoti lines up the zomie in green. That shirt isn't having a good day as both he and HK knock holes in it, sending it burning to the ground.

Mr Philt pulls his own pistol and takes a shot at the last zombie in the blue shirt.

Replying to Philt, Arratoi says, "No, I don't believe we came across a client count. Did you figure out how many people disappeared? That's probably about how many clients Renew-You had.

"May I suggest we take the back door? Might help us avoid additional zombies. But let's also be wary of traps. If I were Vrisken and zombies were after me, I'd definitely lay out multiple booby traps..."

Are we aware of the back door to the northwest? If yes, I vote for going that route but if not then we'll have to head to the southeastern front door.

Why not. A backdoor could have shown up on station schematics that you ace hackers have been working with.

I think a ten minute rest here would not be appropriate,even these rather slow dumb zombies will break in during that time.

Around the back, the door has a good lock on it. It looks like it would be pretty tough to get open.

Unless you have an engineering skill of at least +10 you have no chance, and after a test or two would realise that.

Well, I think that taking twenty with an aid-another is pushing it a little. But then I did a quick check and there are at least two folk with +9 to engineering, so they would auto-succeed in aid-another, so why not.

It takes a couple of minutes, during which time you can hear the zombies slowly trying to break through the windows at the front. Still, soon enough there is a click and the door opens.

The walls of this room are covered in metal boards with equidistant spacing for hanging tools. A workbench juts out from the western and northern facings of the area. A cylindrical container, guarded by cage of glowing red lasers, rests along the eastern wall. A large steel door exits to the south, while a smaller door to the north has a single one-way peephole looking out into the alley outside the house.

Arratoi disables the lasers while William goes for the door.

Just as the door is opened the lasers flash off. And then all hell breaks loose. A large silvery blob of stuff emerges from the container and launches itself at the group.

Meanwhile, William, peeking through the door, sees a Shirren taking pot shots at the zombie trying the break through the nearby window.

The blob extents a psudopod out toward Arratoi, who nimbly dodges away, just in time.

Improvising a start mid-way through a song, Lynn's voice quickly surges with energy. She sways to one side, points a finger at the ooze, and sends a wave of force bullets at it!

Lynn continues singing, a look of disbelief crossing her face as the two co-conspirators first feign ignorance and then open fire. She steps into the front room to get a better view of the two of them.

Conscious of her magical reserves running low, she draws a small pendant-type spell gem from her pouch (holds magic missile). Though she doesn't produce any of her own missiles this round, she sweeps her arm out dramatically, ♫♪ letting her voice fill the room ♫♪!

(spent two move actions. Assuming they're still up after the full brigade gets in here to shoot them, I'll have some magic missiles next round.)
