For sure, you had a clearly great run. I loved the organization, but thats because I think I liked the idea of it. Having this hidden faction of society that resented the loss of their ability to oppress and profit off of others... it was neat.
The monster gave me the willies, like I said. I cant comment on the numbers, as I barely understand them, lol, but the flavor of the whole thing was really inventive to me. Actually, it reminded me of a cyber-punk-esque nanomachine thing, where one controlling being is able to manage a whole host of others. *shivers*
Well, we get to vote again next year. ;)

Haha, looks like Nornan just single-handedly defeated the second centipede! Should I even bother with an action?
I know. I knew this was an easy encounter but I figured these two would put up a little better a fight. Damn my treacherous dice...lol. So it looks like we're back to narrative form for the moment.

Nornan |

I will too.
Also, are there rules to melee into spiders swarming on someone? lol I looked through the srd, and couldnt find anything that would modify it. It just doesnt seem right to me that I dont take a negative modifier to swinging an axe at a swarm of bugs crawling on someone, lol.
I wont be around much this weekend either. :-/

DM Locke1520 |

Nornan you can swing your axe at Blake but it will do pretty much what you might expect in this situation...hurt Blake and have little to no effect on the swarm.
energy attacks and area of effect are the key in such a case unfortunately Blake is in the same square as the swarm so those actions will have likely detrimental effects for Blake as well.

Blake Deverin |

Brodert's bag of holding, type I
Leather scroll case containing the following scrolls
scroll of floating disc (caster level 2)
scroll of detect secret doors (caster level 1)
oil of magic weapon clearly marked
potions of cure light wounds (2) clearly marked in Father Zantus's narrow script
Wooden scroll case containing Brodert's eight page treatise (+1 equipment bonus on knowledge history checks involving ancient Thassilon)
Vial of anti toxin, clearly marked
10 normal apples, 2lbs of dried deer meat, a loaf of bread, and a sharp white cheese.
Wine skin of a common Chelaxian red
Large archaic key (this steel key is about five inches long and resembles a thin cylinder with jagged teeth around the lower half of the key. When viewed from the end the teeth form a seven pointed star.
I remembered this and went to see if it had something to cure my posion and realized I don't think we have every offical distributed it. I take if from earilir posts that I am supposed to take the floating disc scroll and one of the potions of healing, and that Clarence has the key and Broderts treatise, Nornan is willing to carry it so I assume that means he is taking the bag of holding, one of the healing potions and everything else unless wants to claim it. I think the oil of magic weapon should go to someone other than me and Nornan who already have pretty good attacks.

Clarence Azaren |

DM, how do you handle spellcraft vs. appraise? I was never really certain what each skill is used for in terms of identifying items.
Clarence has the key and the treatise, since he's interested in that kind of thing. He can carry some of the food items, though they may be better off in Nornan's bag of holding. I think Nornan and Blake should take one of the potions each (or Brinda, if she wants) because Lysa and Clarence can cast curative magic. The oil of magic weapon should go to someone who may actually attack (Clarence is not the best choice, and he may end up with a magic weapon anyway). Anti-toxin can go to anyone really.
