Journey through Ustalav and face all manner of horrors in your quest to stop an ancient evil from resurfacing. However, the greatest threat you face may just come from within...
Sabs for the first time appears to be a little sad, ”But I don’t even know what a pall bearer does. But I don’t want to disrupt the ritual space if my presence would do so. Perhaps there is some sort of other function I could serve!”
Sab’s research notes and journal:
In Sylvan: I seemed to have offended Subject Professor Petros Lorrimor’s offspring (must obtain her human name soon). Somehow with my physique. I don’t think it could be because I’m female, Subject Uliana of the Pharasmin Church was invited to bear the palls. I’m almost certain it is some sort of innate disdain for gnomes but I could be wrong. I don’t want to press the issue and be ejected to a place where I could not at least observe.
Since the Baron is away, I'm botting him to assist as a pallbearer. That meets the minimum number needed to carry it.
"You have my thanks, and my father's as well," the woman replies, her tone and expression softening slightly. At Sabs' suggestion, she adds, "You are more than welcome to walk alongside the coffin. I was merely concerned that your height would prevent you from aiding in its transport." Turning to the rest of the procession, she starts gathering everyone to walk on, and then turns to you as if remembering something. "I was remiss to not mention it, but I am Kendra Lorrimor. We will have time for final words once we deliver my father to his destination, so please, follow me." With that, the funeral procession starts the long, slow journey up the gravel path to the professor's gravesite.
Everyone, please make a Perception check as you walk along.
