Round 1
Cliff tears through the Ghoul in front of him, the two Ghouls in the back of the cave move up and strike.
Ghoul(Blue) vs Cliff: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Ghoul(Yellow) vs Ansgar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Both attacks get deflected.
Rounds 1 & 2

Cliff claw 2 damage crit confirm: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
If it's still alive....
"Cliff, step back!"
Cliff takes a 5 ft step back, giving Norm room to cast another acid splash at blue
Ranged thouch att: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Acid splash damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
If it's dead....
"Cliff, flank with Ansgar"
Cliff moves around red, staying out of reach, to flank with Ansgar
I've moved Cliff, assuming it is very very dead. If not possible to stay out of reach of red while moving, he'll just take 5 ft forward to where blue was (no reason to risk anything here)

Zelinda Petri |

With all that mayhem, I'm a little confused. I'm assuming that Yellow and Blue are still alive.
Quickly drawing her sword again, Zelinda gets into the fray and attacks the nearest ghoul (assuming Blue, but Yellow, otherwise.
Free Action: Draw sword.
Move Action: Move 10' feet.
Standard Action:
Longsword Attack w/ Combat Expertise: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Slashing Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Ansgar Ercanbald |

Ansgar will square off against the ghoul in front of him, sword and shield lashing out.
Bastard Sword w/ TWF and Heroism: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 7 - 2 + 2 = 22+2 if cliff is flanking
Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Light Shield w/ TFF and Heroism: 1d20 + 6 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 6 - 2 + 2 = 15+2 if cliff is flanking
Damage: 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Caeldren Shoreman Kaijitsu |

Caell keeps on Ansgar's tail, sword out and shutting encouragement. "Keep it up! You guys are doing great!"

GM Wilken |

Once again you're able to dispatch the ghouls with ease, a few seconds pass and it seems like no more undead will join the fight.

Normornigan Pewterson |

Norm breathes a sigh of relief as the last ghoul dies, not having realised that he was holding his breath.
”Nice work, everybody. Seems like the right strategy to move forward slowly down here. Cliff, come here. You did so good, my friend. Thanks for the warning. Could you take a look down there too?”
He pets Cliff and then sends him down the tunnel behind him.

Zelinda Petri |

Not willing to believe that they were in the clear yet, Zelinda will go check the area where the creatures came from, checking to see if there is anything of note.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

Ansgar Ercanbald |

Pleased with the current turn of events, Ansgar's normally grim face has, maybe, the faintest hint of smile. While Zelinda looks around, Ansgar cleans his blade and shield.
Pain I will endure, but dirty or broken gear must be corrected...
As he wipes the grim from his blade, Ansgar steps forward to looks down the hall.

Caeldren Shoreman Kaijitsu |

"Are you actually smiling?!"Cael asks as he sees Ansgar's face. "Well, keep it up and I'll have to come up with a new nickname for you. Hmmm how does Ghoul Cleaver sound? Or maybe..." Cael tailed off thinking about new names for Ansgar as they move forward into the hall.

Normornigan Pewterson |

At Cael's words, Norm turns around and look at Ansgar and says to Cael
"Are you sure that is a smile? It can't be! I'm pretty sure that face can't smile! Maybe he got hit on the head and has a concussion! Or he got that ghoul-fever thing! Quick, check him for wounds!"
Norm runs over and starts to fake examine Ansgar.

Ansgar Ercanbald |

As the others begin to mock his good humour, Ansgar slides his face back into its regular stony demeanor.
Seems I can't let these fools have an inch...
As Norm fake examines him, "You know, if you're this concerned for my well being, you should come with me next time I do something risky. I'm sure we could rig up a harness for you on my back."

GM Wilken |

Cliff and Norm examine the tunnel to the east, where they find a small tunnel with several pickaxes tossed into a corner, one of the pickaxes looks particularly well made.
Meanwhile, Ansgar advances down the western tunnel to find an intersection.

Zelinda Petri |

Zelinda grins at Ansgar, figuring that the gruff cleric has more going on than he wished to show. So, instead of prodding him any further, the half-elf gypsy follows in his steps, shield and sword ready for whatever comes their way.
Just FYI, GM. Not sure if it's by design or not, but our icons on the map seem to have disappeared.

Normornigan Pewterson |

Norm stops joking and looks at Ansgar.
"I don't want to sound like I'm scared here, but are you sure I'll be safe there? I mean, I can't wear the same amount of armour as you can, the metal interfers with my spells and hinders my movement. And I kind of bruise easy. Some of the hits you've taken would have cut me in half!
Norm takes a deep breath
"But if you see a great advantage in it, I'd be willing to try it out."
----------------
Norm takes a closer look at the tunnel and examin the pickaxes, especially the well-made one.
perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

Ansgar Ercanbald |

"Of course you won't be safe. You'll be strapped to the back to me while I do something stupid." Ansgar's tone is fairly serious, "But if you had come down the rope with me, and jumped off after I made the landing, you could have starting slinging spells right away."
Ansgar waits for everyone to be nearby then leads the way down the hall.

GM Wilken |

Norm notices the pickaxe is clearly of superior craftsmanship, it could easily be used as a weapon or sold. He also notices the wall and floor near the pickaxes are covered in yellowish mold.

Normornigan Pewterson |

”I see your point, Ansgar, and it’s not fair that you are taking all the risk. Let’s see if we can’t make something, when we get back to town. Maybe something that can protect my back, but still be easy to jump out off if I need to”
-----------
Norm pick up the pickaxe and put it in his backpack
I assume it is a masterwork pickaxe?
He also takes a closer look at the mold, without touching it and see what he can find out
knowledge nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
”Guys, could you come over here and have a look at this strange mold?”

Zelinda Petri |

Zelinda interrupts the conversation between Ansgar and Normornigan. "I'm not sure that this is such a great idea, but if it's something that you really want to do, then I'll be able to help protect you."
I can only really apply my Active Defense bonus to one person at a time, but eventually I can apply a bonus to all adjacent allies.
The part-time alchemist bends over to have a closer look at the mold, trying to see if she's ever come across it before.
I don't have Nature, but hopefully one of these will work.
Knowledge (dungeoneering): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Craft (alchemy): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

GM Wilken |

Yes, its a masterwork heavy pick
Zelinda recognizes the mold as Yellow Mold, which can burst into poisonous spores on contact, and can be destroyed with fire.

Zelinda Petri |

"Don't touch!" she calls out, even though she's probably the closest one to the mold. "This stuff gets dangerous when you make contact with it. If someone has a torch, we can just safely burn it away."

Ansgar Ercanbald |

"I've a number of torches that we can use." Ansgar pulls a torch out and lights it, using it to burn away the mold. Once the mold is fully burnt away, Ansgar sets the torch down under the area where the mold was to let it burn out "Probably best to keep the heat near it as long as possible to make sure it doesn't grow back."
"Unless there's something else here to investigate, I suggest continue down the tunnel." Ansgar will lead the way when everyone is ready.

Normornigan Pewterson |

Norm nods and follows Ansgar down the tunnel, taking a position right behind him, Cliff by his side.
I've added the pick to the loot sheet, if anyone wants it

Zelinda Petri |

Zelinda steps in behind Ansgar, "Lead the way, boss."

GM Wilken |

After burning the mold and progressing through the tunnel, you end up in an intersection. The room to the west is a foul-smelling cavern heaped in bones scarred by the scrapping of teeth, the room seems to be otherwise empty.
To the west, you see a cathedral-like cavern with a roof arching thirty feet overhead and dropping into a sloshing pool of foamy seawater fifty feet below. A steep stone ledge winds down to these surging depths, its slope glistening with moisture and mold. A stone door stands in the northwestern wall about halfway down the slope.
Four undead goblin creatures inhabit this space, they immediately turn to attack you.

Caeldren, sword out, rushes ahead, "I'll do my part this time!" He stops just short of the first monster waiting for the others to join him.
Double move 5 ft south of the yellow goblin.

Normornigan Pewterson |

"Go help Cael, Cliff"
Cliff (AC 22, as shield is no longer on) runs up to attack yellow
Cliff bite att: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Cliff bite damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

"Come on, Ansgar, don't leave me hanging!"

These two are going to ruin my self restraint...

Normornigan Pewterson |

As Norm gets closer, the stench hits him and he feel his breakfast comming back up
"The stench!"
Did he still hit with his -2 to att?
As Ansgar moves past, he says
"Nah, I knew you'd come help me"
before turning away to be sick again

GM Wilken |

@Norm: Yes, its a hit even with -2
Round 1
One of the goblins tries climbing up the slope towards Ansgar, but gets a sword to the head as it tries to do so. Another goblin closes in with Cliff, trying to attack the tiger, but is unable to land a hit.

Round 1
Zelinda's bomb doesn't hit the goblin, but the explosion hurts it regardless, it seems like the goblin's undead form is barely holding.

Zelinda Petri |

Completely forgot about the Fort Save! Not that it'll matter much at this point.
Fort Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Caeldren Shoreman Kaijitsu |

Cael swallows hard before trying to sound light hearted. "Oh Stoneface, there's are just gobos, I've been killing them since I was a boy. These ones might be dead already, but I can kill them again. Don't smell much different either..." He then steps up to the yellow goblin slashing at it.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 9 - 1 = 17
Damage, Slashing: 1d6 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 = 8

GM Wilken |

Round 2
Norm, Cliff and Caeldren strike at the goblins, but are unable to get any solid hits. Despite being dead, these goblins are just as agile as live ones, and undeath seems to have made their skins thicker.
The goblin down the chute climbs up, flanking cliff, then tries to bite the tiger.
Cliff gets an AoO vs. Yellow
Yellow vs. Cliff(Flanking): 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 7 + 2 = 24Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
If 24 hits Cliff he must make a DC 15 Fort save against Paralysis
Ansgar swings against a goblin, his fighting ability impaired by the unnatural stench, his sword only gets a glancing blow that doesn't seem to affect the goblin at all.
Meanwhile, the other goblin lashes out at Cliff, but can't hit the tiger.
Blue Bite vs. Cliff (Flanking): 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 2 = 16

Longsword attack /w Combat Expertise: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Slashing Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1
Sickened: The character takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.
Edit: Ouch! Double 1s.

Ansgar Ercanbald |

With the foe in front him, Ansgar concentrates hitting the goblin through the stench.
Attack vs red
Bastard sword w/ Sickened: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 7 - 2 = 9

Cael slashes again this time with greater focus.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Damage, Slashing: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Just a reminder, Ansgar should still have heroism active, I don't think 40 minutes have passed yet. Not that the +2 would have made much difference.

Normornigan Pewterson |

"Go smash them up, Ansgar"
Norm cast enlarge on Ansgar
Let me know if you don't want me to do that, Ansgar, and I can turn it off again ;-)

Clifford "Cliff" |

Cliff's AC is 22. Mentioned it in a prior post, but forgot to change it on his profile. Unless shield is still active, but that was in the previous fight, so don't think so
Cliff fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Cliff attack like last round, yellow until it is dead, then blue
Cliff bite att: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Cliff claw 1 att: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

Cliff claw 2 att: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Cliff claw 2 damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Ansgar Ercanbald |

I'm cool with getting enlarged. I think the round order works out so that I can get it on my next post as well since per the init order it would be Norm Casts(this turn)>Ansgar goes(this turn)>Norm finishes and discharges(next turn)>Ansgar goes(next turn)

GM Wilken |

Heroism actually would made Ansgar hit that attack, I'll compute the damage
If Cliff's AC is 22 then he'd be hit twice in the last round, rolling the second damage
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
And he'd need another DC 15 Fort vs paralysis
Round 3
Cliff's claws finish tearing through one of the goblins. He then turns and claws another goblin. Caeldren finishes off another goblin with his sword. Ansgar tries a swing but is unable to connect against his small target.
The last remaining goblin keeps attacking Cliff, and manages to land another scratch.
Blue Bite vs Cliff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Blue Claw 1 vs Cliff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Blue Claw 2 vs Cliff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Crit?: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Cliff takes 3 damage and must make another DC 15 Save vs Paralysis
Zelinda tries a strike against the remaining goblin but also misses.
