Ansgar Ercanbald
Seeing the War Chanter step out of cover, Ansgar takes his chance to pin it down, recklessly charging at it.
Bastard Sword(Bless,Charge): 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 1 + 2 = 16
Damage(Bless): 1d10 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 1 = 9
AC is 16/10/13 until next round
Kalais Ryndel
With the Warchanter preoccupied with Ansgar and the nearest Goblin suffering fire from their orcish scholar, Kalais shifts around Viridi to reward the audacious Goblin attempting to set fire to the podium. With an arrow. Preferably to the face.
Move Action: Move 30ft. (moving around to the south to avoid Goblin 4)
Standard Action: Attack vs Goblin 1
Longbow (Bless, FE: Goblinoid, PBS): 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4
Well, Kalais always has preferred live targets!
GM Wilken
Garbund shoots a ray of fire and burns the closest goblin, who is barely still standing and screams in panic, throwing his torch away as if that was the cause of his injuries.
Ansgar runs up to the goblin warchanter and swings with his sword, his attack almost connects but is deflected by the warchanter's armor.
Kalais shoots once again and hits the goblin behind the podium on the shoulder, he seems very hurt but still stands.
Squeeze walks up to the goblin burned by Garbun and tries to finish it with a bite.
Attack(Bless): 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 5 + 1 = 17
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Squeeze bites the goblin's head and the creature falls to the ground.
#Round 2
The goblin who burned fuel in the cart walks up to Kalais and tries to burn her with his torch.
Attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15
But is unnable to reach her with the flames.
Sable and Viridi up
Viridi Sorn
Round 2: Actions
Move Action: Move up to Goblin 3
Standard Action: Stab with spear!
Viridi doesn't pay attention to the unintelligible gibberish coming from the goblin's mouth (or the unintelligible gibberish everyone else is saying, really), instead stepping up to the creature attacking Kalais and stabbing at it with her spear!
Stab: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Damage?: 1d8 ⇒ 5
GM Wilken
Viridi's spear gets stuck between the goblin's ribs and he screams in pain. He giver her an insane stare, determined to hurt her before his inevitable death. Goblin 3 is at 1 hp!
Sable drops her bow and walks up to the goblin fighting Squeeze, drawing her longsword on the way and slashing as she gets close.
Sable: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Her blade finishes what Squeeze's bite started.
The goblin behind the podium advances to attack Kalais.
"Goblin busy burning! No disturb!"
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
He jumps in celebration after noticing his hit.
Meanwhile, the warchanter steps away from Ansgar and makes another shot aiming for the cleric.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
The arrow manages to bypass Ansgar's defenses and pierce his arm, becoming stuck in his armor.
Kalais, Squeeze, Ansgar and Garbund up
Kalais Ryndel
Feeling the hit clip through the armoured plates of her coat, Kalais kicks back and, surprising no one, responds with the intent of pinning her assailant head-first into the ground.
"Aroden's mercy, just die already!" she barks, letting the arrow fly.
Free Action: 5ft. Step Back
Move Action: Bullseye Shot
Standard Action: Attack vs Goblin 1
Bullseye Shot (Bless, FE: Goblinoid, PBS): 1d20 + 4 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 24 Technically in Melee, so apply an additional -4...but I don't think that's going to matter..
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 = 10
That done, she swiftly pulls another three arrows to her drawing hand and, without pause, draws a bead to the chanting greenskin bastard up north, determined not to let a single hostile survive, much less escape.
Squeeze Bits
Squeeze is confessedly a little fascinated with the fire. As much as he considers himself more... "Civilized"... It's hard for him to not smile at things burning. He'd *love* to be burning everything with the other goblins! However, he knows better. He keeps his cool and continues fighting the good fight, even if sometimes giggling to the fire. He moves to the goblins near Viridi and tries to bite.
Versus 1, if it's alive after Kalais's attack, or 3
Attack(Bless): 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 1 = 21
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Ansgar Ercanbald
Grunting in pain as the arrow hits, Ansgar steps forward to attack again, this time with both blade and shield.
Bastard Sword(Bless,TWF): 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 1 = 8
damage(Bless): 1d10 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 = 7
Shield(Bless,TWF): 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 + 1 = 12
damage(Bless): 1d3 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 = 6
Seeing his blows fail Ansgar reminds himself that at least he is buying his allies time to finish the other goblins.
GM Wilken
Kalais finishes one goblin with an arrow while Squeeze finishes the other with a powerful bite. Ansgar and Garbund are unable to hit the warchanter, who is much more agile and well-armored than expected.
Sable and Viridi up!
Viridi Sorn
Round 3: Actions
Move Action: Move next to Garbund
Standard Action: Throw spear at warchanter!
Relieved that her previous target was slain, Viridi turns her attention to the warchanter. She hustles up next to Garbund and throws her spear at the goblin!
Throw (PBS, Into Melee?): 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 - 4 = 20
Crit?: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 - 4 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Crit Damage?: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1) + 2 = 4
GM Wilken
Viridi's spear hits the warchanter in the middle of the head and comes out on the other side, almost pinning the creature to the wall behind it.
There seems to be no goblin presence outside of Squeeze in the cathedral square, but the group can still hear sounds of battle and see glimpses of battle in the distance. The chant seems to be over, as well as the initial frenzy the goblins seemed to be on, they look to have mostly returned to their cowardly disorganized selfs, some are on fire from their on torches, or have fallen from carts and roofs and broke their own necks, some run away from the militia or from dogs, others have even completely forgotten the fight and are scavenging food or collecting trash.
Sable looks around before saying: "It seems the fight has moved on to other places, i'll go to the south check on that dwarf, maybie he'll pay an extra for the trip back after seeing this. You all be careful." she picks up her bow and heads to the south.
At this point Father Zantus runs toward the group.
"Are you all right? You have my thanks for helping fight the goblins, i'm not sure the cathedral would be still standing right now if not for you."
He mutters a quick prayer to Desna.
Channel Energy: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4
Garbund
"Squeeze, the goblin guide, also helped us fight the other goblins."
"He doesn't want to be be mistaken for the other goblins, though."
Garbund looks at a quivering tablecloth and starts speaking to it:
« Da je varno da pridejo ven, Stisnite »
Kalais Ryndel
More than a bit impressed with Viridi's apparent throwing arm, Kalais disarms herself of her ammunition but keeps her senses honed on the collective nuisance that the Goblins have become, pausing only to offer Zantus a breathy "Valor to you, Father" in thanks to the knitted wound at her side. Nary a second later she's scavenging what arrows she can from the fallen.
Assuming we have a momentary breather.
Shot 2: 1d100 ⇒ 58 [Broken]
Shot 3: 1d100 ⇒ 79 [Broken]
Shot 4: 1d100 ⇒ 38 [Collected]
Shot 5: 1d100 ⇒ 92 [Broken]
Shot 6: 1d100 ⇒ 29 [Collected]
Current Arrow Count: 17
Rather predictably, half the shots are broken clean in their wounds, but they've clearly served their purpose. The rest she yanks free and gathers into her loading hand, ready to fire. For a moment it's obvious she seems to seriously consider drawing one such shot at Squeeze but, seeing his reaction to the present affair and Garbund's eager defense, the ranger quickly reconsiders with a sigh.
"I'm...just gonna assume you're unrelated, kid," she prompts to the 'cloaked' goblin in their midst, before turning her full attention to maintaining a watch for legitimate threats, muttering thoughts between her teeth. "Something doesn't fit here anyway. This brat's one thing, but this many? 'The hells were Hemlock's men doing?"
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 + 2 vs Goblinoids
Ansgar Ercanbald
My blows definitely knocked it off balance Ansgar thinks after seeing the results of Viridi's spear toss.
"That was a fine toss, thanks for the help Viridi" Ansgar says to her.
"And thank you Father for you aid" Ansgar gives Father Zantus a small bow.
Cleaning his blade and adjusting his gear to sit more comfortably, Ansgar sheathes his sword and pulls out a javelin so he can more easily stay with the others in the opening moments of any other fights.
"Where should we head off to now? Is there anywhere still in need of aid Father Zantus?" Ansgar asks of the group and the Father.
GM Wilken
"The rest of town seems to be as fine as you can be when a horde of goblins disprupt one of your most important holidays.", he answers Viridi, before turning to Kalais with a sad expression. "I think Hemlock blames himself, really, he was possessed by rage and grief, fighting recklessly against a group of goblins..."
As Ansgar asks his question, the group can hear a panicked scream and barking sounds coming from the north.
"That must be at the White Deer!", he points to the road that leads northeast.
Kalais Ryndel
Kalais gives the priest a look. Whatever the cause of this nonsense, it'd better to see the back of it first.
"Too right," she concurs with Garbund, and immediately skirmishes to the north.
Ansgar Ercanbald
"Aye lets move out"
I might not know where I'm going at the moment, but its best if I get there first
Heading off with the others, Ansgar gives them all an appraising look while keeping tot he front of the group, either beside or just behind the navigator.
They all fight decently at least
GM Wilken
The five quickly follow the road, a scared cry for "HEEEELP! SOMEONE, PLEASE!" is heard, as well as more barking sounds. This part of town seems relatively unmolested except for a weak fire burning at one of the roof, some broken windows, and a dead man on the street.
Just east of the White Deer, near the north gate, a goblin mounted on his goblin dog fights a hunting dog. Both animals bark menacingly, and five other goblins cower while watching fight, squeaking words of encouragement whenever their leader lands a hit and wincing whenever the hunting dog retaliates.
Behind the dog, hiding behind a barrel, stands a well-dressed man that Viridi quickly recognizes as the noble Aldern Foxglove. "HEEEELP!", he cries, once more, as the mounted goblin delivers a slash that kills the hunting dog and is ready to attack him.
The other goblins, suddenly feeling brave now that the hunting dog is dead, also start making their way towards Aldern, with evil smiles on their faces.
Ansgar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Garbund: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Map updated
Squeeze Bits
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 Not a clue!
Squeeze, the caped green crusader and hero the city deserves, waits for Ansgar to step sideways or otherwise move a little out of his way, and then half-charges and bites the closest goblin. 3 I believe
As a standard action, charge up to his speed and attack
Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 1d4 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + (6) = 8 Adding sneak for surprise
Ansgar Ercanbald

Javelin Damage: 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 = 6
Critical Fail?: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

Oh and the perception check

Garbund
Round 1
Garbund moves up behind Squeeze and fires an Acid Splash cantrip, doing fire damage, at one of the goblins (Goblin 2)
« მჟავა ცეცხლი »
acid splash, fire damage: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Efreeti and Gold Draconic acana combined; spell does fire damage, and add +1 damage per die
Kalais Ryndel
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
While the lack of chanting is a welcome reprieve, Kalais knows better than to give the goblins a chance to turn on a cowering man in their midst and fires off a shot at the would-be commando, hoping to jam it straight in his teeth. With a dead leader, she hopes the other, evidently more cowardly blighters will scatter. Slaughtering them all would be more effort than she's prepared to spare.
Free Action: 5ft Step.
Surprise Standard Action: Attack
Longbow (FE: Goblinoid: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 2 = 22

GM Wilken
Ansgar hurls a javelin that almos hits Aldern, hitting the barrel he was hiding behind. "W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
Squeeze runs at the closest goblin and bites his neck off, killing it in one hit and leaving blood spraying everywhere. Yuck, disgusting
Garbund hits another goblin with his fire, the creature looks around in panic.
Kalais hits an arrow at the commando's shoulder, he screams in pain severely wounded.
The goblins finally notice the group and seem ready to fight.
Round 1
Viridi still up for surprise round, Ansgar and Garbund up again for round 1.

But misses!
Kalais up

...Hot damn.
GM Wilken
With a headshot, Kalais kills the goblin commando, who falls from his mount. The remaining goblins look intimidated by the death of their leader, but the goblin dog tries to bite Ansgar, enraged.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
As the attempted bite is blocked, the goblins lose all hope and start running away to the north.

Stab: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Squeeze Bits
Squeeze bits at the one which provoked the attack of opportunity.
Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

But he misses, horribly.
On his turn, the goblin charges the goblin dog and bites it with violence.
Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
... But he also misses, even worse than before. At least he was looking good with his impressive cape.
GM Wilken
Garbund burns one of the fleeing goblins with a splash of fire, the creature jumps in pain and keeps running.
Viridi tries to hit the goblin dog but misses, Squeeze then charges at the dog and tries to bite it, but also misses.
Ansgar, on the other hand, connects a solid hit with his sword, making the dog recoil in pain.
The goblins keep fleeing, crossing the north gate and running away into the woods.
Kalais up
Kalais Ryndel
As the Goblins make their retreat, Kalais wastes no time in chasing them up to the gate, but quickly slows as they disappear from her view.
"Let them run," she mutters to Garbund before the sound of Ansgar's sword connecting with the Goblin Dog reminds the Ranger of more immediate concerns. Another arrow quickly pins to her string and she fires her frustrations at the beast, doing her best not to impale the caped crusader that is Squeeze in the process.
Move Action: 20ft.
Standard Action: Attack
Longbow (Bless, PBS, Melee Combat, Soft Cover): 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 - 4 = 14

damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
(ranged touch, no save)
Gold Draconic and Efreeti arcana combined; spell does fire damage, and add +1 damage per die
That mixed cantrip is working better than I thought it might at this level!
GM Wilken
Kalais hits the goblin dog on the eyes with an arrow and the creature drops dead. At this point, the town seems very quiet, it seems like the combat is over, and the town is not burning (too much). Aldern takes a few seconds to realise what just happened before leaving the safety of his barrel and coming to greet the party.
"Thank you! Thank you very much! I don't know what would've...Thanks! I'm very grateful, yes. You all fough impressively, specially you, lady...?", he is looking at Kalais. "Your bravery and archery skills are impressive like i've never seen before!", he seems to have calmed down a little.
"Oh, where are my manners, i'm Aldern Foxglove, nice to meet you all!", he cleans the sweat of his hand before extending it towards the group.
Kalais Ryndel
Kalais appears mildly flattered by the noble's praise, but the notion introducing herself as 'lady'-anything quickly puts a stop to that and draws a noticeable pout to her lips.
"I've a few thousand hours of practice. If you want bravery, see to that lot." She waves a hand at the rest of their apparent party, declining to shake Lord Foxglove's in kind. Her own are, for the most part, still covered in forest stains and goblin blood, and if her mother taught her anything it was that neither are suited to a noble's garb. Once her bow is slung back over a shoulder, convinced that no more of the cretins should appear, the ranger looks to the littered Goblin corpses (and Squeeze, purely out of habit) with a squint before wandering to the commando and rolling over the creature's pierced head with her boot.
"I'm gonna need a word with your sheriff, Viridi." While she declines to voice much more than that, it's clear from Kalais' expression that this whole affair is, to put it mildly, 'wholly unacceptable'.
Garbund
"You're welcome," Garbund says to Aldern …
diplomacy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Oops! That could've been better.
"Even I am handier in a dust-up than this ponce!"
… he thinks to himself as he shakes Aldern's hand …
"on the other hand, he might be generous with some coin now too."
Ansgar Ercanbald
Well it appears this is over for now
Wiping any gore from his blade and sheathing it, Ansgar walks over and picks up the stray javelin that nearly hit Aldern.
"You are welcome good sir, though I am sorry for the scare my error with this javelin caused you", Ansgar will say as he stows the javelin. Ansgar will also wipe his hand clean and shake Aldern's hand.
Viridi Sorn
Viridi tentatively shakes Aldern's hand. "You're welcome, sir."
"Are you injured?" She starts checking him for wounds.
