Darin the Cheerful |

Petrification at a 5% chance every roll is nothing to sneeze at.

Unalaq |

The hasted paladin rushes around the corner and runs all the way up to the runelord.
Double move

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Tarinhil flaps his wings and hurls a bomb the moment he sees the Runelord, before taking a moment to look at the summoned beast. As the smoke clears, he snarls, "I wouldn't make a very attractive statue. "
Tanglefoot Bomb: 1d20 + 13 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 13 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 19
Direct Hit: 5d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 5, 4) + 6 + 1 = 28
Ref DC 20 or entangle and stuck to the floor, 11 splash damage + entangle, Ref DC 20 halves and avoids entagle ... Precise bombs to shape away from any allies

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Runelord.

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Tarinhil woots at his unexpected success, "Get 'im, boys! "

MiniGM |

The Gorgon blows its breath on Unalaq DC 21 Fort or you literally rock
1d20 ⇒ 8 makes the concentration
Suddenly the hallway is filled with a greenish gas surrounds Tarin as he is hit with an empowered cloud kill DC 24 fort
Then suddenly another beast appears in the hallway it looks like na emaciated human or skeleton with horns and it immediately attacks Vinny planes to know what it is

then the creature attacks Vinny 3d20 ⇒ (10, 16, 19) = 45 a claw and bite hit him dealing a total of 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 1) + 10 = 14
GO make saves first thing please

Vincente Valentino Valdemar |

Can we get an outline for this gas?

Darin the Cheerful |

Darin will advance and try and club the thing attacking Vinny.
Attack (Morningstar): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Attack (Morningstar, Confirm): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Damage (Morningstar): 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (5, 1) + 4 = 10
Using Strength Surge
Attack (Morningstar): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Damage (Morningstar): 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Unalaq |

Cloudkill is a 20 foot radius. I just put a 20 foot radius circle using Tarin's lower left grid as the center.
Unalaq holds his breath, hoping it might help him avoid the affects of the gorgon's breath. He then goes back to work hammering away on the runelord with his club.
Fort save: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
Attack 1: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (16) + 19 = 35
Damage 1: 1d6 + 28 ⇒ (2) + 28 = 30
Attack 2: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (11) + 19 = 30
Damage 2: 1d6 + 28 ⇒ (4) + 28 = 32
Attack 3: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
Damage 3: 1d6 + 28 ⇒ (4) + 28 = 32

Unalaq |

RAW they stick around for the duration of the spell or until they are destroyed. Some house rule that they go poof when the summoner does.

Vincente Valentino Valdemar |

Vinny begins rolling past the creature, not thinking about the cleric at his side. He rolls through again and then moves quickly into place to assault the runelord, as well.
Acro: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33
Acro: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21
Moving up behind the runelord, he slides his spear into the runelord's back with as great of force as his arm can provide.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 11 + 2 = 25
1d8 + 12 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 12 + (2, 5) = 20

Darin the Cheerful |

Darin will limp over to the runelord and raise his morningstar and bash the fallen man's skull, hard.
He feels the benediction of his god fall upon him.
He'll then turn and run back towards where Bear has fallen and find him dead.
Returning slightly downcast he asks the party, OK, who can carry a Bear?

Unalaq |

"I'll bring him and Fernus back." We grab the runelord's body and things, then go back to the central room and do the same with the caster and her buddies. Once we have Bear's and Fernus's bodies, the baddies bodies, and all of their things, we'll go back and reactivate our tokens.
Phooka stayed up didn't he? If not, I'll grab him too.

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Fort: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 12 + 2 = 32 Yay poison resistance!
Tarinhil snarls in the green fog, trying not to cough as he flies toward where he last saw the runelord, his voice rough from the toxins he escaped, taunting, "I think I'm winning our littl--" then stops as he sees the battle is over. He looks at his hand and wills it to burst into flame, he hurling a fireball at the corpse out of spite, then quickly flies around the other way to check on Fernus and Bear.
Quickly checking their condition he stops, and throws his head back in a bestial howl, as if the inhuman parts of his mutagen took hold of him for a moment. He turns to face Unalaq, his bestial features looking even more feral, "Two. Two of us, and that's assuming that Vincent's mind can be repaired. Because the precious Pathfinders and their Venture-Captain thought us to be expendable." He stops to look at the flames surrounding his right hand and says in a cold growl, "They will pay to have them raised, or I'll will burn down their precious hall around their bloody ears."
He lifts Fernus' body, struggling only a little and holding up a hand to keep the paladin from helping him, "It's like we always used to say. We small folk need to look out for each other." He stops for a moment and says in a tone much closer to his regular voice, "We'd best search the area quickly, and then get out before that thing out there springs back to life and finishes us off. Do we trust Vinny to do that, or do you want me to? Also, hopefully Darin can detect magical auras, because usually..." His voice trails off, and he shakes his head, then says in a stronger voice, "..because at this point, it's either him or Phooka... or we take everything and hope for the best. I can mix up an Ant Hall or two quickly if we need them."

Unalaq |

"The Pathfinders didn't force this on us. We were the right ones to stop Krune and with their resources, we'll probably be able to bring them both back. Right now, let's grab everything and go. We don't have much time. Definitely not time to search thoroughly. If you want to look for auras that we missed, take someone else fast and hurry. Otherwise, let's get out of here and figure out what we've got when we're back to safety."

Vincente Valentino Valdemar |

Vinny spends time going to each body and stabbing it through the throat with his spear. He will take no chances. "I'm pretty strong, I can carry stuff for you."
Vinny has a 22 STR for carrying capacity, fyi

Tarinhilliberanavius |

I mean only Darin and Phooka can cast spells, so one of 'em will have to cast Detect Magic for us....
Tarinhil shrugs, flapping his wings with more effort than usual, "No, she only used guilt to get us here, and treated us like pawns to be sacrificed... but quite right, we weren't forced."
He sighs, "I think it probably best you talk to them, Unalaq, I'm far more likely to snarl and try to make good on burning down the hall... That's three of our friends that have died in two weeks, and ... there's a bestial part of me that just wants to tear throats out in revenge... I thought that I hated the Bleaching, but now... now I'm trying to figure out if there's a way I can cure Death... and I don't mean by making us all into unliving horrors."
He chuckles, the smallest hint of a smile lifting his spirits as he repeats, "I'm not that kind of gnome."

Unalaq |

"I'm sorry Tarin. I understand. Unfortunately, I think our troubles are not done. I'll speak with the Pathfinders when we return, but we're not likely to spend much time with them. We have another threat that we need to look into."

Darin the Cheerful |

Darin will happliy cast detect magic as long as there's time, but I'm fairly certain MiniGM's list is inclusive.
Darin will nod at Unalaq's words.
Indeed, we have reached a time for mourning. Once that is done we still have much to do, and the Pathfinders are the least of our worries - I hope.
Darin is still quite bitter about the Pathfinders' blythe assumption about his own motives for travelling.
Unalaq, I'm happy to go with you if you need help, otherwise I'll see if we can find someone to restore our comrades to us if that is their wish.

Darin the Cheerful |

Darin the Cheerful |

Man, being a cleric of Cayden Cailean is awesome.

Vincente Valentino Valdemar |

It doesn't take toooo long. Vinny's spear ignores it's hardness ;)

MiniGM |

Loot is gathered and everyone teleports back out and winds up in the lodge. After a few moments of debriefing Venture Captain Sheila Heidmarch speaks
You have done Golarion a great service, we will mourn for the loss of your companions, we will arrange for a memorial for them in short order. We will study the Runelords items and transmit anything that we discover that may assist you in your battle sot come. It is my fear that somehow Runelords may be awakening all over, let us hope that is not the case.
Fernus is gone for several more days, but I am confident that he will want to come back, so please consider him in your cut of the wealth. As for Bear, some of his gear, I am going to insist that he gets buried with, but everything else you can sell. I will get that list to you soon

Darin the Cheerful |

That is what we are here for - stopping evil in good spirit and good time.
Darin will hand over his borrowed gear and depart.
What temples are in the city/how close are we to level 9?

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Tarinhil tries hard not to sneer at the Venture-Captain, clenching a fist tightly as she speaks and thanking Desna that he'd already called upon his feygift and was not able to call the fire and make her burn. He grits his teeth, then glares as Darin, Aye, we're here to die..., he thinks, then takes a breath and looks at Unalaq cocking his head slightly toward the corpse in his arms.

Unalaq |

"Venture Captain Heidmarch. We will bury our friend called Bear. The gods have spoken and he would rather pass from this world. However, our companion Fernus would return. There are some items we have recovered that we have no use for. Would you be willing to help us raise our friend, return him to health, and restore the wisdom of the two of us that fell victim to the Herald of Lissala in exchange for some of these items."
Basically asking in character for the deal where we get full price for some of the items in exchange for the spellcasting. If you'd rather do it the other way, just let us know.

MiniGM |

Ubfortunately my lodge has no ability to help you in that. You understood the risk and reward when you took the job, and at the risk of that one attacking me, adventurers and pathfinders die. We will honor them, and you have been well paid for your services. I am quite sure that the items you have gained will more than pay for a raising. The information that the society can provide in the future is worth far more than any spell casting anyhow.

Unalaq |

Man, really trying to wind up Tarin aren't you ;-)

Darin the Cheerful |

Darin will find the local Temple of Cayden Cailean, no doubt set up as a beerhall or lodge house.
He'll track down the priest and sit down with them over an ale.
I need a resurrection for a brave adventurer.

Vincente Valentino Valdemar |

Vinny follows Darin and grins, "Beer sounds like a great idea!"

Darin the Cheerful |

Darin, in a fit of uncharacteristic good cheer, will punch Vinny in the arm.
In the state you're in anything would sound like a good idea. Which reminds me, have you ever thought about buying property in Kaer Maga? For the low, low price of 100,000 gold pieces, I could give you a lovely terraced apartment with a view outside the walls.
He'll fetch beer for the priest and Vinny and a good mug of tea for himself.

Darin the Cheerful |

This is why I hate these places. A teahouse - that's what my temple will be. China, doilies, lilacs. They won't dare come near, even if I have the finest sherry in Avistan underneath the counter.
Darin will sigh, and buy drinks for the house.
The darkest, stoutest porter you've got for everyone barkeep.
