Tiazara Tyrneamitore |

Hmmmmmm. He looks at the buildings around him characterizing them in his mind as he does he shuffles The Debt unconsciously. He draws a card and looks at the buildings trying to match it up since no one else seems to have an idea.

Unalaq |

Unalaq looks around the area that Eryda has indicated, but does not see or hear a thing. "I think the trail is cold, but should we take a look at these two shops to see if they heard anything before we return to the inn?"
Perception 1d20 ⇒ 3

Tiazara Tyrneamitore |

Decides which building the card represents and points to it. Lets check that one
don't know how many buildings are around mini or what they loom like so no idea what to roll. So roll whatever and pick please.

Unalaq |

That would be either the Sandpoint Boutique or the Feathered Serpent assuming the cards don't direct you elsewhere.

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Tarinhil looks about carefully... If I was trying to hide, I would probably go..... there, I think.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
He whispers, "Can our new little friend see anything that we cannot?"

Draken Shar Black |

Draken took flight as soon as the Jeweler was heard yelling. He flys over the group in slow zig zags. Now that they have stopped again, he is on the edge of the feathered serpent closest to the group just looking at you all. Then gets distracted jumps to flight again and zooms into a barrel.

![]() |

Very well. I shall trust your 'divining methods' for a change.

Aéron Skáh |

I look at Fernus, "That makes sense, stay together then." I look around at the group all trying to decide where to go, where Unulaq suggests looking in the buildings I look at him briefly, That's what I just said ... wasn't he listenin'?" I notice Zara playing with his cards again and suggest the one building and I head for the door, waiting for everyone else to be ready ... then I walk in using my hammer as a walking stick.
Hammer still drawn, but trying to not look threatening.

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Tarinhil glowers at the tone of Eryda's agreement, "If you have an idea that you put more trust in, dwarf, I'd be happy to hear it."
His voice quickly returns to its regular cheerful self, "Barring that, let's go with what we've got." He smiles at Zara, "Indeed we shall."

Aéron Skáh |

I notice the tone in Tarinhil's voice towards the Dwarfess and smile at him, "Couldn't 'ave said it better maself." With that I make sure that I am between Tarinhil and Eryda, protecting the magical chef, even while at the door. "Ready?"

Fernus Stonecall |

"Ready, though this could just be a normal shop right?"
Fernus isn't looking threatening at all, so when he enters the shop ge goes with a simple and cheery.
"Good morning!"

![]() |

Be calm, little one. I do not trust an arcanist who claims to be able to see the future. At least, until proven wrong.
Eryda gives Tarin a big grin and hefts 'Bass' and 'Anvil'.
Go on, I'll bring up the rear.

MiniGM |

Draken emerges from the the barrel with a small object.
The group piles into the boutique
Welcome! I am Hayliss. What are you looking for today? Weapons? Books? Toys? He looks at Aeron, then Zara, then Tarinhil.
Ah a cleric. I so not suppose you worhsip the Master of the First Vault? No I thought not.

Tiazara Tyrneamitore |

Has anyone come through here in the last few moments? Tiazara looks around trying to note the passage of others through the shop hoping the Deck hasn't lead him wrong.

MiniGM |

No. You are my first customers of the day. Not surprising really, considering the mess that happenned yesterday...Oh my goodness! You are the heroes of the Festival! I tell you what this week only I will give you a 10% dicount
She says happily, as she goes about her business. If you need help finding anything let me know.
SM1d20 ⇒ 15 1d100 ⇒ 15
Though if you are looking for someone I do have a scroll of Find the Path It is pricey but the discount does apply. She smiles.

![]() |

The Master of the First Vault? Nay. You are correct in assuming so. Eryda walks around the shop, doing nothing in particular. She does, however, stop by the window (if there is one) to look out of it.
Perception: People in the street: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Tarinhil turns and asks in a cheery voice, "Say, did two bad guys happen to run through here with stolen property?"

Aéron Skáh |

I look around a sigh quietly, "They are all repeatin' each other ..." I look to everyone, "Maybe we should try the Serpant?"

Fernus Stonecall |

SM1d20 ⇒ 15
Was this suppossed to be a Sense Motive check?
Fernus looks around the shop and is fascinated by the stuff that's here.
What kinds of things does this 'Boutique' actually sell?
At the mention of looking in the other shop he snaps out of his curiosity.
"Well if they are not here they may very well be, so let's head out shall we?"

MiniGM |

Yes she was making a check on you guys. Had she failed she might not be so helpful. Not everyday so many armed people barge into the boutique
It sells a little bit of everything. You name it you can find it...or at leastsomething similiar. Want a potion, they have potions...just might not be the kind you want...speaking of potions might want to respellcraft the old one, as well as the wand that no one has actually checked yet

![]() |

Speaking of new, are we the only people who have visited during the past few minutes or mpre?

Unalaq |

Sense Motive on shopkeeper at Boutique 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Hah! Brilliant!
Unalaq looks around the Feathered Serpent while waiting for the man to answer.
Perception 1d20 ⇒ 16

Eryda hears the elf ask about their whereabouts and decides to look about the place.
Perception: Movement behind any exhibits: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Fernus Stonecall |

Fernus is just looking about the place of the Feathered Serpent, looking at what they sell here. If they sell something here
Perception on merchandise: 1d20 ⇒ 18

Unalaq |

Any sign of these other visitors?
"Tell us more of your latest exhibits. They must be interesting indeed to have drawn so many people today. We might have sought you out even sooner had we known."

Aéron Skáh |

I stand in the doorway of the Serpent holding my hammer like a walking atick again, the handle on the floor and the head beside my head. I look around the shop with my eyes, but don't leave my spot.
Perception : 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

Aéron Skáh |

I look to the man who is attending the store, "Where'd we go ta buy jewels?"

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Tarinhil finds himself distracted by some of the nicer items, I bet there's a lot of history to that.... Oh, I bet I could use shavings of that to make some very *interesting* things.... He then shakes himself as Aérom asks his question, Right, we have something we're trying to do that's important.
He whispers, "Maybe there's a back door?"

![]() |

Anything for me, Mini?

Unalaq |

"A long way off indeed. That is a fine scepter. Is it of historic value or does it have magical properties too?"
Int Check 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7 Unalaq is oblivious to the whole situation and still thinks questioning the man might be helpful.

MiniGM |

Well the value historically is immense! I am told that the king, whos name is lost to history used this scepter to win his kingdom. It is a long tale involving deception, and trickery. For as you see he was not much of a warrior...
He goes off on a long tale about deception and trickery. While he sort of ignores the second part of your question you get the idea that in fact it might be a rod of some sort.

Tiazara Tyrneamitore |

Turns and walks out of the shop and back to the alleyway looking around for any sign that things have been disturbed. Such as some place the jewels might have been dumped or another path they could have taken. As he does so he mutters quietly to himself. We are hunting thieves not bargins... 1d20 ⇒ 17

Tiazara Tyrneamitore |

Carefully tucks it away and then sighs. He then pulls out his cards and quickly brgins to Harrow himself for help with this.
Blowing my spell like for this task how do you want to handle the spread?

MiniGM |

The Harrow spell? It wont tell you anything about the thieves. It will only tell you your fortune, which may or may not relate to them. Also note that it will take 10 minutes. Sure you want to blow it? As to the spead I trust you not to cheat, just put up a spoiler with what bonuses you drew Harrow Link
Also note that it has now been almost 10 minutes since you lost the trail.

Tiazara Tyrneamitore |

I know and it will provide bonuses to finding them. But you might be right. Your making it really hard not to be the charm asshat. Plus the guy in the shop ingored my question ealier. I asked this soon as we got in the shop and instead of answerjng i feel like he covered for them.
He sighs and walks back intk the shop. Could you point us towards where we might find the customers you mentioned earlier?
