Vanea Lothmatis |

Having smashed the unholy symbol in oblivion, Vanea seems at peace again, and push aside a strand of red hair from her face.
Looking at the poor quality arms and weapons, she says
Let's camp not too far, in a secure spot. I guess we can leave this rubbish here. No one would pay for it in Sandpoint, I think.

Blue and Nu |

Blue retrieves the bashed silver holy symbol and the garnet eyes, should they have been dislodged. He also picks up the iron key, suspecting it might be useful in the future.
He looks at the remainder of the troop and nods toward the door. "Then let's 'ead out through the briars." He takes the lead and heads back across the bridge. On the far side he examines how the bridge is held. He wonders if it would be possible to loosen the ropes on one side so that the bridge doesn't fall but might tip to the side if anyone puts their weight on it to pursue them.
Not sure which skill counts. Would Profession (trapper) +4 make a difference?

Blue and Nu |

Blue fumbles with the ends of the ropes holding the bridge, his tongue clenched to the side within his jaw, but he seems unable to figure out the configuration he's thinking about. With a shrug and a grumble, he leaves it alone and continues with the party into the briars. Once outside of the goblin den, he'll carefully pick their path back through the wild briar trying to avoid any stinging nettles or other hazards.
I don't recall if that was Knowledge (geo), Knowledge (nature) or Survival. Add +6, +7 or +9 respectively to the roll below.
avoid nettles: 1d20 ⇒ 12

Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |

Nic tries to remember the possible option plans he and Natalia discussed previously, a means of temporarily lowering the bridge, making it difficult for the goblins to escape the island until they chose to restore it.
Knowledge Engineering Assist: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
What if we...

Vanea Lothmatis |

Know Engineering: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Fueled by her fear of heights, Vanea looks for means to strenghten the bridge, making it safer to cross, showing to be a competent engineer when need arises.
Yes, it totally counterproductive with regards to Blue's original plan.
But to her emerald eyes, it's SO MUCH better.
The Calistrian won't stop until the bridge is stronger.

Blue and Nu |

To be clear, Blue is on the far side looking to weaken the bridge AFTER crossing it. I assume Vanea is on the near side if she's trying to strengthen the bridge BEFORE crossing it. Blue's actions do not occur until the others have crossed, so Vanea may spend as much time as she likes strengthening the bridge on the near side.

I'm going to allow safe passage through the nettles for free for a combination of 2 reasons. 1) I'd have to look up the DC, which there isn't much reason for since 2) you are about to rest:)
I think you guys already got checks on the bridge, but I'm being lazy/tired right now, so here ya go.
Nic ... cut it down?
@Vanea Surprisingly, it's actually a solid bridge.

Eloviel |

Added all the items in the loot list anyway. We can drag them all back to town to sell for bits of gold to buy disposables & maybe camping gear if it looks necessary.
Eloviel follows the rest of the party, not speaking due to exhaustion. She waits for to cross the bridge when there is only one person close to the other end. As she reaches the other side, she looks back and says It looks like this is the only way in and out of that place. Although, I don't think anyone can manage to rig a trap or at least an alarm as they cross this?

Blue and Nu |

"I 'ad the impression that Ameiko's brother must've come by boat. Might be a dock below. I mean, we suspect 'e left the tunnels b'low Sandpoint by boat and that gobble didn't see 'im come back."

Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |

If it is the group's decision to go back, Nic will follow along. Personally Nic would prefer not to go all the way back to Sandpoint, it would allow further time for the situation to change inside the goblin complex.
Nic would prefer camping near to the goblin bridge, preferably disabling it for the night if possible, restoring it on the morrow. Also, did we take the goblin prisoner with us, execute him, or leave him behind? While Nic does not condone blatant execution, he does understand that Sandpoint may feel differently and he would leave the decision to those native to the area.

Blue and Nu |

Rohan, did you mean for your last comments to be out of character? Is there a reason he wouldn't say that in character?
Blue looks around for material he can use to make some arrows before retiring.

Eloviel |

Alright, so we rest here then. I can take first watch but I wouldn't having someone else besides. Eloviel takes off her armor, folds it gently (near the fire if someone will be lighting one up) and sits down next to it before taking out her flute. She wipes it down first before starting a slow and soothing tune.
Perform, Wind Instruments: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Eloviel |

She looks to Rohan and Copper and nods appreciatively. Upon hearing Vanea's comment, Eloviel pauses for a moment. "We don't want them to wake up tired Vanea, nor do I for that matter. My... training, in that area is a far match from yours I think." she says, ending with a mischievous smile and a wink.
She then resumes playing with the flute as the others settle down to rest.
GM, is the timing critical that we need to define the shift schedule and duration of the camp? If so, we'd have 3 pairs.
Me & Rohan+Copper
Vanea & Max (?)
Nat & Nic (?)

Vanea Lothmatis |

I wanna tag with Nic or Nat. Or both.MMMMM, yes, both. ^^
Well, dear , practise makes perfect. So that's no excuse, it's even an incentive. And as you are a musician, and we have a dragonboy, I was hoping you'll be doing your scales...

Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |

Nic takes a few moments to jot down a few words in his journal, then lays out his kit to bed down. He does his best to pretend he has not heard the jocularity of the camp, though it is good to see everyone still in good spirits. Wake me when it is my turn for the watch, ja, last watch is being the best. I will see to may haps fixing a bit of something from the rations for the morning repast.

Blue and Nu |

Blue takes time to fashion some arrows before unraveling his own bedroll and blanket. He nods in agreement to the watch roster as he removes his boots and armor. The fresh air and the aftereffects of the battle combine to help him fall quickly into sleep.

Eloviel |

Eloviel shakes her head as if trying to dispel the thought.
In a place with no privacy no less...
She nods appreciatively at Nat's attempt to help as she continues to blow a tune through the flute.
So, uh... fast forward into the morning?
Looks like Max will be taking the middle shift, if there'll be any random encounters.

Blue and Nu |

Blue can fill in for Max. I believe Max needs to head back to Sandpoint on some urgent business that requires catch the next boat back to his island paradise.

jimibones83 |

@Blue Did I skip over a question you asked about arrows? I kinda think I remember you mentioning them earlier and I perhaps forgot to respond.
@Eloviel Normally I like shifts established, that way when I want to throw a random encounter out, I can ask for shifts without making anyone suspicious. However, no need to worry about it this time.
Sandpoint's finest wind down for the day, first listening to the sounds of Eloviels flute, then drifting off into slumber. Your shift is quiet. The sounds of your small fire, and the voice of your watch-partner are all you hear. You awake near daybreak, Nic and Natalia preparing for the day ahead.

Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |

Nic will attempt to conjure up something remotely edible from the groups rations, to boost morale before heading back into the goblin's fortress. As everyone eats he will memorize his spells and gather his energies for what may be needed of him over the next several hours.
Cook Check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
It is not being much, but it is the best we can be to doing here without the attracting unwanted guests, ja.

Rohan Drake |

Rohan, wakes up, still remembering the tune that helped lull him to sleep the night before. He stands up and puts his shirt on before re-equipping his armor. He spends the minute as the others wake to summon his best friend.

Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |

It is being mostly bits of grains, gruel, and the dried fruits we had being left from our rations, to that seasoned with sweet nettles of the yonder briars and twice shaved bits of jerked, hmmm, I am to be thinking it is pork that it was.

Eloviel |

Wow Nic, even like this you're a better cook than I am! All I know is how to heat them up.
Hopefully I'd still fit into my gear after this...
After eating, Eloviel takes a short break to let the food settle in before packing up. "C'mon, we've got to make sure she won't have time to amass a new goblin horde.
Resetting my spell counters. And don't forget the +3 to HP.

Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |

Nic finishes his own arcane studies as the group finishes with breakfast, readying themselves for the renewed assault. With the Copperscale, I am to be thinking we will have no dirty plates remaining, he seems to be good for polishing his platter clean, ja.
Nic is ready when everyone else is

Copperscale |

Nic finishes his own arcane studies as the group finishes with breakfast, readying themselves for the renewed assault. With the Copperscale, I am to be thinking we will have no dirty plates remaining, he seems to be good for polishing his platter clean, ja.
Nic is ready when everyone else is
"Hey! I resemble that remark!" Copper grins.

Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |

Well, with the caravans it was for all to be doing many things. Being not a full time need for alchemy I was to practice my skills at the stew pot instead. Putting away the scraps of rations for later, But then I was to be having a better larder than what we are to be carrying ja.
