Lloyd is finally back!
We will retcon Salereon has been with you, very quiet, all this way, and is with the rest of the group ready to tackle on the bandits.

![]() |

I like Garren move so far, and I'm more glad because of Salereon return.
To allow Garren to have one more round before LARP weekend I will post the result of their actions around 21:00. I will consider all characters that don't have actions declared to be camouflaged for an ambush.

Manzcar |

you all should be able to move your token

![]() |

Well it has advantages sometimes...
My idea was to have all the actions and then resolve them all, and make the combat faster that way. But I fear it is not really working.
"You can say: If Salereon gets hurt I heal them with xxx for <roll>. If not then I attack the closer bandit <<rolls>>"

I am proceeding with the actions I have. I will roll Init for Johnny and Garion:
Garion Init: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Johnny Init: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Garion Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Johnny Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Glad you have fun... I only did LARP once, and it was nice until the moment I got face cut :p

If it was from a weapon, someone should have been checking the weapons a bit more closely. I've seen a bunch of smaller games forgo that step and I think it's come to bite all of them in the tail at some point.
Re: Init:
The way I've seen most GMs in these parts run initiative is in smaller cells:
1.) Roll Init for the whole party (this saves a day of waiting for everyone to catch up.
Kressel: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Bandits: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Garion: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Garren: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Giovanni: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Johnny: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Salereon: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Veroca: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
2.) Characters act in cells. This allows for posting to happen a bit more smoothly, instead of waiting for one player.
As above: Veroca, Salereon, Johnny and Giovanni go in any order.
Then the Bandits go.
Then Garren and Garion go in any order.
Then Kressel goes
3.) The GM always knows when he's waited too long for actions from the PCs, usually 24 hours, and moves the combat one with a simple action from the PCs. usually this action doesn't use up any PC resources.
4.) Lather.
5.) Rinse.
6.) Repeat steps 2&3 until all of one side is dead or fled.
The above is my two cents and you can take it or leave it as you will. I don't think I have any kind of veteran pbp status yet, but I'm in a few games and this has worked best so far.

Real life has come up and bitten me in the well yeah. I need to take care of personal issues and will have no time for extra stuff in my life. Because of this I will be leaving the game. I am sorry if this puts a burden on the game but my real life issues are far more important as I am sure you will all understand.
Thanks for the fun while it lasted.

Hey guys, sorry I was MIA. Some work stuff had me tied up at the end of the week and I actually had no idea it was memorial day weekend until the wife told me everything she wanted to go and do plus some family events so I had no time. I'm trying to catch up on a few so I'll be reading through and posting soon!

We will keep your character around, whenever you are able to rejoin. Hope everything goes Ok.
I am without assistant GM again :'(

The only thing I can say is that LARPing with you glasses on is a really bad idea.
And, at least for me, LARPing without your glasses on is no fun. I fell like a training dummy :P

Sounds like a good way of doing it, I will do it that way next time. More so, next time I will roll perceptions or saving throws myself, and leave your the action calling for your characters only.
About the lance range, you are right, the "butterfly" bandit shouldn't be able to attack (butterfly because it got impaled ;) ). The other two bandit, flanking, yes, they can attack.
So the resulting actions stays as they were...
I'll post the other bandits action in the afternoon.

Garion Erada |

After thoroughly reading everything it seems the battle is over. I'll go ahead and wait until you post what the other bandits are doing before I add anything. Again, sorry I was gone.
And bummer Johnny, we'll miss you! Sorry I didn't notice that earlier.

Garren Kodlak |

The escaping bandit gets an arrow to the leg and falls down, unable to stand anymore.
The bandit in K3, at seeing this, thinks it better and kneels, imploring:
"Mercy! Please, have Mercy!"
Does anyone else want to reply to this with: "Mercy is the mark of a great man." Stab. "Guess I'm just a good man." Stab again. "Well, I'm alright."

Sorry, the weekend was a blur and today things changed at work so this is the only chance I'll have to post until the evening with the possibility for a lunchtime post. Sorry guys. I'll wait to see how things get moved along and react. I'll probably be able to post at least once at lunch time.

Garren Kodlak |

Sorry all. The hotel I was at for the last 4 days was habing internet issues. Rather a big deal on a convention weekend. I managed to connect for a while and catch up on a few threads, but the connection cut out again before I made it to this adventure.
I'm catching up now.

Well, life happens, glad you are still here, you got me worried for a minute...
...and then I was unable to post yesterday. Sorry for that. :P

![]() |

I'll post the won loot in the afternoon... But you need to choose, you want to return quickly or start you exploration of the greenbelt?

Garion Erada |

I also have to apologize, my work schedule made a permanent shift and it's disrupted my normal life rhythm, which of course has affected my posting rhythm. I will definitely be able to continue, just have to adjust. I'm on a lunch break now but will be back on later tonight to catch up to whatever you all are doing! Thanks for being patient with me!!

Of course I would allow it.
But don't stop there... I have never like the way the leadership feat works, if you all RP the "taking" of followers and trainees, you got them.
For Rupert, my plan was to give you a guide... And you will soon start finding more hirelings...
