GM Mort |

It is done. Feel free to start RPing with NPCs from here to decide who goes where.

GM Mort |

Anatasia will not volunteer to rule Irrisen(she has no ties to the place). The party has to convince her to do so since nothing has been said to her regarding the subject for the entire AP.

GM Mort |

Sorry if I was rather abrupt, but I was sort of following Einar's intentions of not wanting to be in the grotto and having a safe place to talk things out. Since there's nothing stopping you from doing so, anyway.

Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson |
ok, just had an epiphany, if were twenty years in the future in Golarion, wouldn't we be twenty years past stopping Queen or did her magic doorway let her go back in time?
So Golarion Irrisen would be twenty years past Baba Yaga setting up a new queen, there would be no 'ice crown' and someone, probably Duchess Anelisha Elvanna. or is that who you are calling Nazhema and we kill her? or a distant cousin...
I had to go back and see who Queen Titania was

GM Mort |

The Elvanna you linked has no link to Queen Elvanna. Similar name, different person.
Queen Elvanna ruled Irrisen, and her daughter, Princess Cassioche acted as regent while she was away on the Winter Ritual. With her mother's death, Princess Cassioche will rule Irrisen, assuming she did not decide to leave with Baba Yaga.

Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson |
Ok Anelisha
Duchess Anelisha Elvanna is a White Witch, and the Jadwiga ruler of the Irrisen province of Hoarwood. She holds court from her capital city of Hoarwood, located within a massive carved-out oak tree. Prone to numerous debaucheries, she has taken her brother Ghrathis as her consort.
Duke Ghrathis Elvanna is a grandson of Baba Yaga, and is known for his debauchery, including taking his sister, the White Witch Anelisha Elvanna as a lover. Their incestuous relationship has the large Arboreal Palace in Hoarwood as its backdrop, as they plumb new depths of sin while waiting for Baba Yaga to take them when she comes to take their mother Queen Elvanna.
I assumed their mother 'Queen Elvanna' was who we were fighting, my bad.

GM Mort |

Cool, but it's still Princess Cassioche in charge. To be honest since both NPCs you mentioned did not feature the AP, I have no idea who they are...
Einar - I don't own every splat book like Luke under the sun. I certainly am not buying additional materials to run the AP :o
Additional stuff if need be will come out of my own imagination.

Yeah, I just started thinking about who would be in charge after twenty years, and looking at the Pathfinder Wiki Is my 'go to' research.
I'm just impressed that you applied your imagination to the AP and put some stuff in yourself.
You know, if you wanted to stretch your imagination and add adventures for a few high levels on Golarion or Triaxus after the AP we would be game to play.
:-)

But I'm a lazy cat! We don't like using our heads ;-)
Actually I view myself as a rather creative person, despite my lawful nature.
No. The reason I restrain myself in creating whole new bolts of material is because I am not confident that what I would come up with would be fair.
Luke already knows that the CR system is broken - there are under CRed monsters (like NE soulbound dolls with their Inflict Serious wounds, which could outright kill a level 1 character - and can be run into at level 1).
We shall not talk about hordes of shadows...or greater shadows. And applying the young template drops their CR, but actually makes them more dangerous.
Things like summoning hordes of creatures, eidolons, animal companions, don't add to CR.
So what gives ME the right to throw you an appropriately CRed encounter that could possibly lead to a TPK?
If I am following a mod, I'll just say well the dev's thought it was a good idea. It is not my responsibility if the dev's decided in their infinite wisdom that was the encounter you should face.

GM Mort |

I also do pick up cues from players...if you want to talk more - wherever I feel there is leverage in the module(like questionable instances like, why should this character serve under a bad guy?), I will alter the characters in question so that you CAN actually talk your way out of it, if you want to.
If you want to talk, I'll always be happy to talk with you. What you get out of me though, might range to a nice yak, or just lots of thrown insults(but the insults may also contain some foreshadowing/insight).
If I were to truly run ROW as written...there'd be a lot more fighting.
Mostly if you could talk your way out of things, I had a hand in it.

GM Mort |

Also, I found out recently that Hmm is sick, so she might take longer to reply then usual.

GM Mort |

Crummock's demiplane was created after Traixius - so only days have passed there. Any places you visited before Triaxius - 20 years would have passed.
Spend too long on Triaxius, unless you're immune to effects of aging, otherwise all the time catches up with you, and you'll just wither and disintegrate from age.

Mr. Whiskers |

Are you saying Mr. Whiskers is going to suddenly age 20 years?
That would make him almost venerable!

GM Mort |

No. For the duration of the quest, time for you came to a stop. But everyone you know is probably old or dead, since rat folk don't live long.

GM Mort |

Good thing crazy-prepared GM actually wrote everything out beforehand.
Well mostly I was thinking of you guys appearing outside town and not in the middle of it

Mr. Whiskers |

No. For the duration of the quest, time for you came to a stop. But everyone you know is probably old or dead, since rat folk don't live long.
That I (the player) was expecting. Mr. Whiskers is still in for a shock.

GM Mort |

Oh yes. But that is the price of living longer - you get to see everyone around you go before you do.

Quick update. New job assignment is mucking with my time at keyboard -- there is far, far less of it here at Linden Hills. I will try to update on my lunch hour.
Hmm

Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson |
Hey, talking Triaxian war tactics with Taslune and Baknarla. I like it! We go level 18, 19 and 20 clearing the dragons out, then mythic levels going after Baba Yaga....
Come one Mort, let that creative tiger out, and create an adventure or three, you know you want to! Your done with college, what else are you going to do with all the free time :-)

Mr. Whiskers |

It would have to be without Mr. Whiskers.
He is not going back to Triaxis.

GM Mort |

Look for a house! Settle down!
To put you on even footing with Baba Yaga, I'd have to get you mythic tiers - 10 of em, and I have no idea what Mythic even does...not to mention that from the WOTR boards they're yelling mythic is broken REALLY REALLY loudly.

Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson |
hhhmmmm, OK, we could let Mister Whiskers create another character or take over an NPC he likes. not like we haven't done that before.
Order a house in a building being built, that will give you six to eight months free time to work on this.
Forget mythic tiers then, At 20 we multiclass into another class and or a prestige class...
You keep wanting me to play a caster, Einar could go one level sorcerer and then eldritch knight :-)

GM Mort |

I don't think it will work very well. Mythic is a whole different ball game in power level. Though probably the better person to ask would be Crummock...
Actually ordering houses here(built to order) you get it in 3 years. But there's possibility of resale flats - in which you get it immediately.

GM Mort |

Cadence - you're going to get some really weird pathfinders. Lol
Though the society lets all sorts in..including birds and frogs

GM Mort |

Sorry - for the purposes of the wedding - do you want it on Golarion or Triaxius?
Triaxius may have weird effects on Cadences family(when they return to Golarion), since a good wedding takes about half a day.

GM Mort |

Einar, thanks on wedding location. I'll need to plan it with Cadence, so it might take a while.
I guess that's part of GM duties, wedding planner and funeral director(if necessary).
Oh, I have another family gathering tomorrow :o
May be making osmanthus jelly again tonight.

Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson |
It would make sense to have the wedding on Golarion,
Also, Crummock had spent a few days in his dimension, then went to Triaxus, we will spend some time here and catch up with him at Triaxus.
Then you will have to decide how much adventuring on Triaxus we are doing ;-)
As for the gifts, Einar listed the doll and the boat, he will retro purchasing the ring for Cadence and a glaive for Erlis I need to double count siblings and make sure I have plenty of children' presents, also. Then we can talk about if he needs to by updated gifts :-)

GM Mort |

I'm fine with reconing any gifts etc.
Cadence family:
Alfred(Father), Beatrice(Mother), Dora (Younger sister - now a successful silk merchant), Erlis(Younger Sister), Freya(Younger Sister), George (Younger Brother)

GM Mort |

Sorry it took so long...there are many wedding traditions - and the ones I am familiar with are a tad demeaning to the groom, so I had to get both Cadence's and Einar's permission to do it.
The wedding traditions I am familiar with would also be out of place in Heldren (so I had to do research on more western weddings - the last one I went to was several years back).
I also won't do it in full form - since I think the more I add - the more likely I will make mistakes and possibly offend religious sensibilities. If I do offend any religious sensibilities unintentionally, I apologize, but you’re getting a free-thinker to do a Christian wedding.
I am essentially from Goka if I am to be translated to Golarion.

GM Mort |

Waiting for Mr Whiskers to see if he wants to help bring wedding supplies in. Greater teleport is a thing, you know.
Roughly the morning will be spent on the trials, then afternoon will be what I sent you in your email.

GM Mort |

Oh yes! The bride says she wants it! Blame Cadence, not me!
Cadence, sorry about the farewell bit...but well imagine your daughter telling you she's going to migrate and will never see you again...

Mr. Whiskers |

I will pass on teleporting for silk curtains.
I would counter-offer with Hallucinatory Terrain.

Mr. Whiskers |

I suppose I could Greater Teleport away to learn Permanent Image and provide lasting mementos.

GM Mort |

The issue is if it rains. Try minor/major/ true creation. Hallucinatory terrain doesn't cover if it actually rains. Or you could witch the weather. Got control weather?

Mr. Whiskers |

The issue is this is a game. I’m not going to put a lot of effort into a fantasy in-game wedding.
This is also a rural area. Customs vary, but in general rural weddings have a lot less trappings. If it rains, the guests will use umbrellas. Much better that than messing with the weather patterns of the area.

GM Mort |

The last time I went to Italy (Novi Ligure) for a wedding – it was more out of the city – we still had pavilions and all that. (And it DID rain). And Heldren is still a town at the end of the day. If you want an outdoor wedding (Cadence’s request) – at least make the preparations for bad weather? Since a pretty much large portion of the town would be attending?
I personally feel that since a wedding is something you do once in a lifetime – so I’d put some attention into it.

Mr. Whiskers |

I requested it and think I was given it. On the other hand, I did not consider it vital.
Why do you ask? If Einar wants it, he can have it.
