I opened a discussion thread but it's sort of going to be the defacto game thread until next week.

Can we play out our background-RP here or should we take it to a separate place, maybe a google doc? I guess we should prioritize the discussion OOC though.

Can I use guidance for knowledge checks?

Do the invitation say why we are called to the party or just that we should be there?

Any chance you could start up the gameplay thread, just so we can dot it, and the campaign will show up on our Campaigns page, instead of having to search through the discussions / recruiting threads?

Would Evan take the bastard penalty from most of these men? Also, I borro the bastard naming convention from GoT. If you want you could implement it broadly so everyone knows or he could just have a weird name.

@Wikiwik/Kejal: Feel free to add yourself to the next post in the Google doc(though of course you could do the IC thread first).

@Solapiral: Just a suggestion of course, feel free to ignore it if you don't like it, but what we are doing in the Discussion thread feels very much like gameplay to me. I know it's just an intro, but we aren't using the Gameplay thread for anything anyway. Then we can use the discussion thread for other things without having to use spoilers or to bump recruitment.

I imagine most all races in pathfinder end up compatible to a degree. Now, if offspring end up sterile or not is another story.

technically we have rules that can mix any race... It's a common joke at my table that the 3 most degenerate deviant creatures in Fantasy are dragons, Demons, and humans.

A will go to even D if you push with enough force.... well, having objects for locks which does not fit each other can happen sometimes...

The rules are in with the custom races linked in the master doc.

Let's not use Zeus as a role model, anybody who seduces women in the form of gold water should be subjected to the old millstone castration.

The gods of old had some very human flaws, and when it comes to some of the Greek ones, you have a hard time finding any VIRTUES to balance it out with.

I prefer to wait the week because I'm still auditing characters, vetting backgrounds, and cooking up some good posts.

Ah, well I believe that's been answered, and it's yes, there's the possibility that sahi and beads are sexually compatible, I haven't read them, but Solspiral said the rules are there.

I guess that was just fun Beads :)

But otherwise, the topic is trying to say neutral AND not degenerating-> the discussion is as I believe to find out possible matches / love interest in regards to the game and how it would affect or advance later

I was talking about encyclopedia arcane, I couldn't even find them on mongoose's site but my renewed interest just found them on mongoose's site. So Nvm. Great series of books, some of my favorite material

we have have rules for it in the folder I reference linked. They are actually fairly close to that other link you tossed.

Just a bit of extra info i remembered. With the "what type" will be born if two different types mixed

It's a wonderful book, but focused on a far different type of cross breeding. It really made me want to play a mad experimenter alchemist, who was just sitting in his house mutating everything he could get his hands on.

Someone asked awhile back about content from Kobold Press' Deep Magic...

Short answer: Yeah I'm going to approve a book my name is on (between Greenwood and Groves) as a freelancer that was a big deal for me and I own a copy.

Long answer: That said there's some inconsistencies with power balance and I reserve the right to make alterations, basically if you pick things up from the book run them by me real quick.

I don't have the book, but would appreciate any suggestions for cool feats or spells that might fit Evan (or Nave I suppose, but there is mostly magic related things in there I wager).

What is beads referring to? Which conversation is he listening to? Would his laugh break stealth?

Definately not out of line. I am hodestly a bit worried that Evan is a bit too good to fit in with the rest of the group. He's no paladin though so I hope it'll be fine.

No, good is well, good. Beads just comes from a darker area and he is a rogue after all ;)

Not all campaigns work for good people. In this group there are more people like Beads than like Evan.

Nave didn't fondle his weapon and say he was the one who liked to get things done? then I misinterpreted that post.

She's flirting with the Eidolon because he seems more butch. Her previous guy was a burly ranger that thought her her class skills.

He did, you are correct, thanks :). Since she already responded to my previous post, I didn't figure out she was now responding to something from there.
