I am putting together a data sheet of the five characters and their ability scores (bith before and after racial modifiers) and I may be asking for some changes myself. Basically, I wanted to see the players create a diverse group where no two characters were competing for the spotlight with high scores in the same abilities, but I'll let everyone know what I find.

Did everyone remember to include the modifier to their Comeliness score (if they are going to be displaying their Familiar)? if you think that you might want to switch back and forth between having your familiar where it can be seen, and hidden just record your comeliness as number(number) and I will note that the number in parenthesis is when your familiar is concealed.

We are launching this game. If you participated in the discussions that helped to shape this game, then thank you.
If you were not sure you wanted to be part of the game, but feel you might have missed an oportunity, don't worry. As the game takes place in a large city there will be opportunities to join this game in the future (and you will not have to be a fledgling wizard if you do).

I’ve had an amazing experience with the Players in this game.
For over 200 posts, stretching back to February, these players have participated in an encounter-less experience getting to know each other and the setting.
It has renewed my faith in the potential for Role Playing on Play by Post games.
Now, as we are on the cusp of venturing out into the streets of the city, where life and death will be determined by cunning, skill, and the will to stay alive in the face of almost certain doom, it appears as though We have lost one of the player characters, who has not posted in a while, nor has responded to private messages.
I’d like to offer, to one or two possible players, the opportunity to join this game.
It is a slightly different game experience, set in a 'wholly created by me' setting (with a good deal of setting modification taking place through suggestions of the Players), loosely tied to two or more other games I am running on these boards.
Prospective characters will be 0-level characters, which begin this adventure as commoners who have survived the initial invasion, and who have elected not to flee the city.
All original rules for character creation will apply, with the following changes
New characters will not be students of the School of Wizardry.
You will have -400 experience points and be “classless.” When you have earned 400 experience points you may select a class, as your first level (this will be your preferred class) from this list only
Fighter
Rogue
Ranger
Cleric
You will have 8 “base” hit points (to be modified by your final Constitution Score). When you reach fist level, you will add your Constitution bonus to your Hit Points, but not a Hit Die.
You must have a Score of 16 in Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution (your choice) and the other ability scores you will use will be
19, 15, 14, 12, and 10 (to be arraigned as you desire)
Apply racial modifiers after the scores are assigned.
You will have 4 ranks in skills, plus one rank for each point of Intelligence modifier. You will have no Class Skills, or Class Skill bonuses until you reach first level.
You will have one weapon, selected from the PRD list of Martial weapons, and two other items selected from the following list
A Dagger
A Masterwork Silver Mirror (6” x 4”)
A Wooden Holy (or Unholy) Symbol
A Loaf of fresh bread
A Folded large Canvas Sack (will hold 2 cubic feet)
A Torch
A Piece of Flint
A Masterwork Flask
A Pint of Lamp Oil
A Vial of Holy (or Unholy) Water
Four Small Candles
Pocket Watch
Masterwork Thieves’ Tools
Alchemist’s Fire
A Sunrod
A Disguise Kit
An item not listed here, but agreeable to the GM (no other weapons of any kind will be allowed)
When the current Player Characters exit the catacombs, they will encounter the new Player Characters in the street, in a “special situation”
Is anyone interested?

I'm interested, and I have two character concepts. One of them is a dwarf who would take his first level in either fighter or ranger. Although I understand that I only get to start with one weapon, how easy will it be to acquire additional weapons? He would be trying to work towards fighting with a reach weapon (a dwarven longaxe or longhammer by preference, assuming you let those count as martial weapons per the dwarf weapon familiarity ability) and a dwarven boulder helmet with which to threaten adjacent squares. The second concept is a cleric (race unknown, though it would ideally have a Wisdom bonus and a Comeliness bonus) who was part of a fertility religion; she uses her clerical abilities for matchmaking and general manipulation.

I think 12 RP is a good start
The students will be venturing out into the streets SOON...
I still have a opening for one more Player (Sarpadian, will you stick with the Cleric idea?)
Right now the current players are just great, really top of the barrel, and I doubt I'll lose the three that made it this far, but I'd like the party to have a couple other characters to add some different resources and personalities to the game
Also, an NPC, living-construct, has joined the group
Is there one more player interested in this game?

Yes, I'm planning to stick with the cleric idea. Unfortunately, I'm leaving today for a vacation with my parents. There's a possibility that I might have internet access, but I don't think it's very likely. Most likely, it would be Sunday night before I'd be ready. I understand if you need to move things along before then.
