Y'all are seriously killing me here. Is there something else I should be doing to remind you of the various buffs you have on you? Because as far as I can tell, both of you forgot Fortune, only Skarn is using Bless, and it seems like Cordwin only applied Heroism to his attack roll (and possibly his damage roll? which shouldn't be affected) but not his saves.
René cackles but doesn't bother to do anything else. They would kill the rats eventually.

Cordwin is very likely to suffer infection and disease if not treated soon.

The bite marks have an odd tint to them. It is very possible that these rats were infected with that Vorel's Phage you were just learning about.
