You now have the time to look around the building more carefully.
Wooden statues of both Erastil and Desna—both now
chopped and marred by hobgoblin weapons—stand in
their own alcoves in the northwest end of the shrine,
while alcoves on either side serve as general shrines to
the variety of other gods and spirits worshiped by the
locals. A dozen human bodies lie scattered across the
floor and pews, and have been left to rot as invaders go
about tearing apart the building.

The shrine is clearly too damaged to be used in any way.

Morgryn spits on the hobgoblin and shakes his head at the damage done to the shrine. He utters a quick and quiet prayer, to not only Torag but also to the deities wronged there.

He then grabs a bottle of the whiskey (or all three if no one else wants them) and grins at Kwaizy, retorting "Medsin."

He then helps everyone pack up what has been found.

As you approach the shack, a young woman comes charging towards you, swinging a sword that she clearly doesn't know how to use. When she sees who you are, she lowers her weapon and sighs in relief. "I thought you were another group of hobgoblins and had found us. I couldn't do much, but I had to try to save these people."

She is followed out by several timid looking villagers. They see Aubrin and the rest of your following. They go back into the shack, pick up all the supplies they can find, and also follow you.

Morgryn feels the gratitude of one of the deities of the shrine. You all are being watched over for the next hour. +1 morale bonus to attacks, 3 temporary hit points for each of you.

Morgryn hefted his hammer defensively when the woman came charging at them, but then quickly lowered it seeing that she wasn't a hobgoblin and that she stopped herself. He gave a nod to her.

"We're tryin' t'get s'many villagers an' supplies s'we can outta here an' safe from the hobgobs."

He then sets to organizing the villagers again and explaining the buddy system to the newcomers, as well as their 'standard operating procedure' thus far.

You move on to the trading company. There are three hobgoblins in the yard, and the building is on fire. the red diamond on the map shows the area where the roof has caught fire. The doors are all tightly shut, perhaps barricaded by people taking refuge. There is no sign they are aware of the fire.
