The yellow enemy draws back in fear at Yroh's threat. Then he swings at Darioos with a sword.
attack, shaken: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 - 2 = 5
However, in his scared state, he only manages to swing his weapon at Darioos's foot.
Blue yells at yellow, calling him a coward and a fool, and threatens him with the wrath of someone named Tarrin. Then he shoots a crossbow at Pig.

"Well done!" cries out Baku as he wiggles a finger. The red ball of fire begins to roll down the hall, away from the remaining foe. "You know what, I don't believe you've learned your lessen." he remarks with a grin, as he wiggles his finger again. The rolling molten heat turns and rushes back towards the remaining foe.

"Oh, hey, if we pull on this string we might summon more members of the Echo Woods Outlaws! Anyone mind if I notify the next group that their table is ready? The local HellKnights have been looking for them for a while! Watch this!"
Yeah, I can't get up into the crowd up there, trying to have a bit of fun, if folks want Raga can pull the string again?

The outlaw, shaking in his boots at Yroh's yelling, drops his crowwbow and pulls out a sword. He then swings the sword at Pig.
attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 4 - 2 = 7
His sword thrust only comes near Pig's foot.
Raga finds the rope to take a hard pull to make move.
Party is up again.

Pig eyes the bandit as he falls to Elado's frost.

![]() |

"Well done Elado! Fire and frost save the day."
Turning back to Raga, he inquires "Think they'll send more now? My spicy pet there won't last too much longer."
With a flick of his index finger, the ball of flames rolls down the hall.

You move down the hallway, seeing what else you can find.
Everyone but Pig, please roll a fort save. It will become clear later what it's about.
You find yourselves moving down a long hallway with many doors on both sides. You hear no sign of anyone coming.
I will start moving you down the hallway and opening each door in turn, unless anyone wants to do anything else first.

"Yes. Pig lead," he says with a nod and a grunt. "Pig cut down bandits like lumberjack to old pines."

GM Redelia |

You move forward slowly and carefully, searching for any sign of traps or enemies. When you come to the first door, you pause and check the door, which Raga then opens. Inside, you see a small room with two cells. The cells are enclosed with stone walls on three sides, and iron bars on the fourth.

Elado casts Message and whispers to the forward 4 party members. There's a gibbering mouther under that bunk right there. Be careful!
If allotted enough time, Elado will Message the remaining party member or they'll figure it out if we start dancing.

"Well, that sounds extremely unpleasant. Hmmm....I bet we can get it to come to us. Pig, Darrioos, Raga...any other that wish to do so, stand on opposing sides of the door. I'll convince the thing to join us and when it charges you all open up on it. Sound good?"
Which cell is it in?
Assuming the others go with this plan, Baku will step into the doorway and ready to activate his part

"Why no just shut door?" Pig asks but gets into position anyhow.

![]() |

Cocking his head to the side, Baku slowly reaches out and grabs the door. Pulling it shut, he smiles. "Wow! That was so much easier. Professor Pig, you're a genius!"
Offering a slight bow to pig, he turns to Raga. "Would you take a look at the next door please?"
I feel dumb now...lol

GM Redelia |

Leaving the nasty little abberation alone, you move on to the next room. Here, you find someone's personal quarters, probably someone of importance in the thieves' guild. You find nothing of interest; the room's only contents are a few personal belongings.
You go back out to the hallway, and stop to examine the doors to the next room. Three matched doors stand on the corridor’s east side. Each is carved with the images of lordly feasts, although a hooded gray figure appears in each image, silently watching.
You hear sounds of eating and conversation coming through the doors.

![]() |

...that's actually pretty brilliant. If we need to come back and make sure we haven't missed anything, we can do it without any sort of rush. Great thinking, Professor!
Raga smiles toothily to Pig. "Good idea!"
As the party advances, she attempts to discern the strange hooded figure's importance.

I should really buy a potted plant to carry around with me...
Baku turns to Professor Pig and whispers "I think you charging in would give them quite a surprise. I would leave them here, but we wouldn't want a group of these guys charging out behind us later."
Closing his eyes, the druid reaches out to the in-between place. Drinking upon the milky fluid waiting there, he seems to shimmer with magical energies. Stepping back from the door to make room, he smiles. "Raga, if you would do the honors of opening it for the Professor?"

"Pig can do," he agrees to Baku's plan. The half-orc hefts his large axe and prepares to charge in and lay waste to whatever poor bandits may be inside.

GM Redelia |

Raga, to her surprise, finds that the door shows no signs of traps and opens easily.
