Web doesn't do entangled anymore. It does grappled now.
Flynn Wildstrider
I dunno... I suppose I use SNA III to summon a Dire Boar... I don't want to solo hell hounds.
EDIT: Oops. Nvm. Dire Boars are SNA IV (Although apparently they can be summoned with SNA III in King's Maker. Why?). Flynn summons an Auroch instead.
Spica Antares
"Gotcha!" Spica calls out. She approaches the spellcaster, muttering a prayer under her breath, placing the judgement of Desna upon her vile foe.
Move action: Approach within 30 feet of the spellcaster while remaining as far as possible from the other enemies. Standard Action: Misfortune Hex to the caster.
Summoned Monsters
The remaining earth elemental, knowing it will be called back to its native realm soon, charges forth to help finish off the enemies.
Charge whatever enemy is open, trying to flank with someone else if possible.
Charge Slam: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Charge penalty to AC until next turn.
This is the elemental's next to last turn. It will crumble after its next turn.
Nicos
Will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Bite vs karla: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d8 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + (5) + 1 = 11
nauseated guy: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Hellhound CMB: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Heavy mace Vs kenchi: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 71d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
==========
The nauseated hobgoblin is still nauseated.
Hellhound 1 is still trying to eat karla but it is unable to do so, yet.
The other hellhound break free ad run toward kenchi (it is now adjacent to him)
The hobgoblin spellcaster tries to strike kenchi with his mace but fails. But then the hob spellcaster duplicate himself and now there are two of them. Obviously it is an ilusion, but still, if you are unable to detect the real one you have 50% chance of mising.
Come on people, win the fight, do not force me to TPK you :P
Rynjin
For OOC purposes, what do you mean by "50% chance of missing?" do you mean "It's a Mirror Image with only one image, so hope you hit the right one", "It actually grants 50% concealment, so roll me a d100", or "Now there are two targets, guess which one is the real guy before you attack"? Because two mean I need to roll another die.
Rynjin
Alright, thank ye.
Kenchi raises an eyebrow at the caster, as if to say "Really?" strikes quickly at him, twice, failing miserably because the hand of god decided to slap him for its own amusement.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
1d2 ⇒ 2
1d2 ⇒ 1
You have got to be f!@&ing kidding me right now
Flynn Wildstrider
Whatever. I stab the nauseated hobgoblin. The auroch does the same. If the hob dies with my attack, the auroch instead attacks the Hell Hound.
Scimitar: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Auroch's Gore Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 damage: 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Spica Antares
Sorry for the long delay, guys. Was a little overwhelmed with work and pretty out of sorts.
"Thank you, spirit." Spica nods to the elemental as it returns to dust.
"So," Spica asks, as she walks over to Karla, "What do you guys think we should do with him?"
Assuming Karla doesn't refuse attention, Spica invokes the healing powers of her arcane magics, gently placing her hands on Karla's shoulders.
Healing Hex: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (8, 4) + 5 = 17
Anyone else injured?
Karla Teg
Larla utters a quick word of thanks to her god: "I have survived and learned. My thanks. I give you their blood as a sacrifice."
She moves back with scorn on her face. She raises her sword: "Hold your hound still as I sacrifice him, or it is you I will cut down!"
If the man obeys, she will kill the hellhound.
Nicos
The animal instinct is stronger in the mind of the hellhound. Besides, Karla can see in its eyes that the Hellhound know karlas intentions.
if Karla carry on The hellhound will attak (AKA, initiative will be rolled)
BTW, the hobgoblin is still trapped in the web since no one have done nothing about it.
Spica Antares
I'm waiting for one of the more socially-inclined members of the party to step it for an interrogation. Also, guys, think we could try making the OOC posts with the character aliases still? would make it easier to figure out who's saying what.
Flynn Wildstrider
I usually use my alias for posting anything in the gameplay thread, including ooc posts... Unless it's completely irrelevant to the game.
Flynn carefully searches the hobgoblin for weapons, spell components pouches and anything that might be dangerous, valuable or simply interesting.
I take 10 on both Perception (total 24) and Sense Motive (total 22)
"So... Anything you wanna tell us? You can tell me... Or my friend with the greatsword and armor with the holy symbol of Gorum... Your choice."
Nicos
The guy have two potion, a scroll and this holy simbol
What do you want to know Human? We attack you,is what we do, you defended, you were luckier
Sense motive tell you that he is being a little deflective.
Flynn Wildstrider
I can't see the image, Nicos.
Flynn handles the potions, scroll and holy symbol to Spica.
"I have this feeling you're not being frank... Would you be more inclined to talk with a blade on your throat?" says Flynn as he puts his scimitar close to the hobgoblin's neck.
Is there anything we should know about the region? e.g.: Are hobgoblins attacks common in this road? Do they usually have hell-hounds with them?
Flynn Wildstrider
"How cute! He think he's in position to haggle!"
BTW, can we use ropes or something to immobilize him? I'm guessing the Web spell won't last forever. And I still say we kill the hell hound.
Spica Antares
"How about this: If you speak, we'll see to it that you get the fair treatment you deserve in a court of justice rather than just putting you down like the rest of your pack of dogs. We have places to be, and I don't see any reason to waste our time trying to bargain with you. Speak." Spica counters coldly.
Spica Antares
Intimidate: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Flynn Wildstrider
Intimidate: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9
Do we get a bonus for... You know... Having him defeated, unarmed, entangled and with a blade to his throat?
"Personally, while I don't mind cutting throats, I'm not particularly inclined to do it either, and my friend here mentioned bringing you to see a court of justice, so maybe you have a chance... Besides, there are all sorts of different ways to die. Some of them are slower and more painful than others..."
