Oro-Tu
Oro-Tu grunts in reply, somehow doubting that. "When I finish with him will let you know if that is true."
He also tosses Dugan a gold piece for whatever drinking it will afford him. The tulita is rather unconcerned with drinking, but knows that people like Belok and Ivar are fond of it, and acquiescing costs him nothing.
If Aurora or another cleric can patch up the wounds Oro-Tu sustained, he will sign on to fight another round. He also looks to see if there is a potion vendor, considering some of the fighters are using them before entering the ring. If possible he will pick up a bull strength.
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
Ivar's turn. I believe he is at 11 HP and his opponent is not doing a lot better.
I was hoping that 20 points would finish him, oh well
When Ivar comes too, broken ribs and a caked bleeding cut above his eye for his effort, he goes to watch over the gear hoping Aurora is well. After putting on his gear he picks up Oro-Tu stuff and goes to watch him fight against. Seeing he's won one fight and preparing for another he says
"Glad to see one of us is winning, have you seen Aurora, maybe she should patch you up before you fight this elf."

Good job Oro Tu and Ivar, both of you did better than me, think your a bit on the tougher side, I was holding my own, just needed to use some of my spells to buff with, but it was not to be.
I think I should have been allowed to do healing as long as I don't exclude anyone, which means even the opponent would get healing, then we could see who is more skilled. I will do some healing for you guys no problem, but I am done for fighting, I have a bulls strength for you also if that will be allowed. Oh guys, If you are looking for your stuff, its in my haversack; didn't want to leave it laying around.
I do like to celebrate with a drink now and then, it is a past-time of my people, having good ale, Dwarven that is. As for my God, he is of the North, he is a god of retributive justice, if you have a good cause against evil and want them brought to justice to answer with blood, then pray to him and he will aid you, I will show you how to ask Falkenjagger to help you.

"Good job both of you. I thought you had that one, Ivar. One more and he would have fallen." Oro-Tu smiles and thanks Aurora as he feels the internal wounds mend. He prepares to jump in the ring again as soon as they give him the go ahead. He nods to Aurora when he is ready for the bull strength, then looks to his opponent with a fierceness in his eyes. He also places another bet with the winnings if they let him, 100gp.
"Many know vengeance it seems. Very popular." he responds to Belok, laughing. He then leaves to the ring.

Off to bed soon but feel free to pause and work with the others on the lady razor storyline. Can get this fight done fast win or lose tomorrow.
brvheart
They will take your bet. Sure, will do this tomorrow. Want to try and paint tonight anyway.
brvheart
Varion charges at you with a feral grin making him appear totally fearless and certain of victory. intimidate: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30 As he is using it as a free action he cannot demoralize you with it.
punch: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22
damage: 1d3 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Oro-Tu
Oro-Tu is a bit taken aback, but mostly because he is not understanding the bravado with such a slight blow. But perhaps this is a trick, so he is wary of a trick. Is that lethal or nonlethal? Does the intimidate have any effect or is it just showing off for the crowd?
He lets his anger take over, and swings repeatedly with the same fist.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 17 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 17 - 2 = 26
Damage: 1d3 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 4 = 16
Attack 2: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 12 - 2 = 20
Damage: 1d3 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 10 + 4 = 15
(Reckless, power attack, stalwart. AC 8, DR 5/-, 10/nonlethal, HP 90. If he did nonlethal I blocked all of it, if he did lethal I blocked 3 and am at 87 HP.)
(perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14 just in case he notices something passively)
brvheart
Oh it's lethal, he has seen your resistance to non-lethal attacks.
bluff: 1d20 + 8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 5 = 17
concentration: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
touch attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1 fort save DC 13 or 1 point of strength. It is energy damage so it bypasses DR.

sense motive Oro-Tu: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Yeah, you have no idea what he is doing or why.
Oro-Tu
Fort save, raging: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21
Grunting in surprise at the slap from the elf, Oro-Tu hauls back a fist and throws his full force into it, and then kicks at the elf's gut.
Punch: 1d20 + 17 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 17 - 2 = 19
Damage: 1d3 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 10 + 4 = 15
Kick: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 12 - 2 = 18
Damage: 1d3 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 10 + 4 = 15
Will return the lethal damage in kind. AC 8, DR 5/-, HP 86. Did my first two attacks seem to have an effect, or did they even hit?
brvheart
You miss on the kick. Or should I say you do no damage.
He touches you again
touch: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3 another fort save.
Oro-Tu
Oro-Tu starts to realize what the elf is about. Some form of magic is being used. Whatever it is, there is a solution to witchcraft! He attacks with even more ferocity, knowing that he is battling something supernatural. He jabs at the elf, then brings his hands together and slams them down over his head.
Fort save, raging: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 Don't know if it's even possible to fail this except with a 1, but I do get +5 if it is a spell or supernatural ability. I will let you add it secretly if needed.
Left Jab: 1d20 + 17 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 17 - 2 = 30
Damage: 1d3 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 10 + 4 = 15
Overhead Blow: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 12 - 2 = 27
Damage: 1d3 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 4 = 16
AC 8, DR 5/-, HP 83.
brvheart
He is down. Oro-Tu advances, wins 100 GP on his bet and another 100 GP for his winnings. Ivar collects 7 GP.
Oro-Tu
Oro-Tu roars in victory, hopping out of the ring and rubbing the small stings on his torso and arms.
"Well, Belok, you were partially right. He was using some sort of magic. I could feel it tingling my spine. Did not save him. Not sure how Dugan lost to him."
He winks at Ivar and Aurora, collects his winnings, and then takes Belok up on that offer of a drink, knowing that both he and the other two would appreciate it.
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
the h@!! with fighting, I'll just come and bet on Oro-Tu
as Oro-Tu walks off victorious Ivar nods at Aurora and asks
"Shall we join them? I've got more money in my pocket than I've had in months, I'll buy the first round!"
thinking for a moment as they walk over to the bar
"I'm mean for us, not the whole frickin' bar, I don't have that much."
Smiling he says to the barkeep
"two Meads here, were celebrating with our victorious shipmate! Did you see the fight? I doubled my money on it!"
edit
hearing Belok speak of killing Ivar hefts his obsidian waraxe and smiling he says
"If were playing that game I want back in, I'm much better at it than this pugilism racket you have going here."
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
don't want any unnecessary trouble, this betting on Oro-Tu thing is to good to give up
Ivar lifts his mead to Belok, and nods
"I was just saying If the game ever changed."
sipping his mead, turning to Jin he tips his mead to the half-orc as well. Feeling the mead and his new found wealth go to his head, Ivar leans over to Aurora and says quietly
He don't look that bad, not like that big-four-armed-white-ape I killed,
peaking back over his shoulder he continues
course they do look a lot alike
Oro-Tu
Oro-Tu grunts, "Learned young how to ignore a blow. Wrestling sharks will teach it to you. You think they try to kill me, or you mean in the ring?"
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
really the big guys sensitive? I'm just trying to relax
Ivar looks at Belok, than at Aurora and rolls his eyes, then back to Belok.
Don't get your eyebrows in a twist big guy, you look like a half-orc. Having said that you look about as much like Jin as I do Oro-tu. I'm just trying to celebrate with my crewmates. I would have made the same comment if your bouncer was a purple haired gnome named Halungalom wearin' a pink flaming tutu. So lighten up and have another drink.
Ivar waves four fingers at the barkeep pointing toward his crewmates and Belok.
Oro-Tu
Oro-Tu chuckles, and claps Belok on the shoulder again in parting, "Well, we must be off. There is a ghost to slay somewhere nearby."
He makes sure all his gear is in order, collecting any he forgot to retrieve from Aurora, thanking her for watching them. He waits patiently until both are ready.
Noticing how tired Belok looks, he risks asking a delicate question: "Something wrong, Belok?"
Oro-Tu
Oro-Tu nods a farewell, knowing not to pry in a warrior's affairs.
we can let Silas, Natalie, and Leialoha have the spotlight for a while as we try to locate them hehe
brvheart
With that Belok passes out at the table. It is clear the only thing he has been fighting lately is a beer bottle.
Bethany Razor
"The Tulita people are the heart of the Razor. Even though you are an outlander, the spirits of our land whisper that you were a hero to the Razor once and that in spite of the hardships our land has inflicted on you that you will have the opportunity again. This is no mere mercenary mission. Much as it pains me to admit to an outlander, our people need help. Of course we will compensate you for your expense, but can we not bestir you to throw your own heart behind our quest?"
[dice=Diplomacy (to assist negotiation)]1d20-1
Meanwhile, back at the Captain's Locker...
"I like and respect your people, but I am not into charity. My husband played the hero and all it got him was a watery grave. So for me its gold up front and the piper to pay please:) We leave on the morrow then? High tide is at five bells."
Natalie Desmee
Natalie looks up at Lady Razor. "Me doesn't talk much Mi'Lady. As much as yes a woman after me own heart, gold first, the hearts and minds of the natives be a valuable resource when ye least expect it. I am sorry for your loss."
Oro-Tu
Are we trying to get her to drive us there? Why not just use our own ship? Not ready yet? I feel like I missed something obvious lol
Silas Frey
Silas nods. "You'll have the money when we leave. It'll be good to watch your ship in action as I seem to have become a captain and I'll need to get together a crew soon."
Silas Frey
Silas waits to continue conversation with Bethany. Before going to meet the others he tries to do a bit of research into Kakeou and recent events.

Three tribes of Tulita dwell on Kakeou:
The Whistle Tops are the keepers of the shrine to Dolphin and are led by tribal elder Honalu, a deeply pious man whose vanity is only overshadowed by his pride in the glorious shrine to the Dolphin his people tend. Only the piety of a devoted servant of the gods impresses Honalu.
Hard Shells are the keepers of the shrine to Grandfather Turtle and are led by tribal elder Lai’kua, a brave warrior woman who takes pride in her martial talents and her warriors. She is impressed with martial prowess.
Ridge Backs are the keepers of the shrine to Whale and lead by tribal elder Tal’ou. Tal’ou is an intelligent and sensitive old man who takes in the whole picture before speaking his mind.
