Alright, I am truly sorry if you were that offended by what I said. I said it half in jest and not meaning anything derogitory by it. If miss thing means that then I will stop using the term because calling any woman a slut is massively disrespectful. Just please don't take what I say too personally in the future, and remember I don't know everything. And as far as I know calling someone good buddy is a good thing, I have almost never called anyone I hate good buddy. Wow you learn something new everyday. Peace.

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
are we all on the same boat or are there two conversations going on on two separate boats?
codes, laws, courtroom, judge, its interesting the words we use to justify letting the strong control the weak, its not so bad as long as your one of the strong.
As Ivar tries to listen to two separate conversations at once he asks the ladies
"code and courtroom aside, is there a bounty on Bonegnaw or his bravo's, if there is do you ladies mind if we make a little more profit on his death, we've a ship to buy."
then turning to Leialoha he smiles his own predatory grin and ask
"By 'burn the shark out of the man' I hope you mean we get to pour oil down his throat and light it with a match. I've met the man and don't care for him. I would kill him for free"

Silas Frey |

Silas considers the talks of courts with some distaste. "I'm not aware of any bounty. I'd rather hand him over, use him as some cover to allow us to do what we intend to and let him be someone else's problem to dispose of. We've broken his operation. As for Darenar unless Zalen or Miliauku know of a cure then it's beyond me. He has been given an option to try and save himself and he seems happy to sink into the mire that infests this place."

brvheart |

Upon your return to Port Shaw, you take your prisoners to Fort Stormshield and turn them over the Dragoons. Darenar is there. As Silas does not look like himself at present, he does not recognize any of you. "We will take care of these smugglers and lern 'em a thing or two!" as he smacked Bonegnaw up the side of the head with the hammer.

Silas Frey |

With the boat back in shore, preparations are made to sell it and then to see Tomas Garrell to buy the Thunderstrike from him. Negotiations are short and with the money ready the ship is ours. A little while spent going over it with Captain Montgomery and the repairs are started.
"Start sounding out possible crew if you can and we'll be back once we've done some work in town," Silas says to the Captain.
I suggest we go see Zalen first. I assume it's too early to go Ghost hunting.

Natalie Desmee |

Natalie frowns when Darenar hits Bonegnaw with the hammer. She waits until they've quit the place to ask. "Who was that fine piece o barnacle that hit Bonegnaw? I didn't like the critter either but was that necessary?"

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
i'd just as soon kill them both now, ones no better than the other
as Darenar and the dragoons leave with the prisoners Ivar smirks and answers the swashbuckler
"That 'fine piece o barnacle' Natalie was the sergeant we were talking about, the were-shark fellow that stopped us when we were bringing Garreg back, seems like just one more reason to kill him soon."
turning to Silas, Ivar asks,
"what kind of work in town are you planning Silas, seems like the last job you sorted out went well, so what do you have in mind?"
Ivar sees Silas as the one who planned the Bonegnaw job, he seems to he the longest standing member of their organization so in Ivars mind the ipso facto boss. I realize Natalie has the highest cha. but she seems willing to take a subordinate role. So Ivar, while deferring to everyone mostly, is following Silas

Natalie Desmee |

Arching an eyebrow at Ivar she snickers. "And ye said somethin about oil and tindertwigs? As long as me gets the chance to smack him over the head wit his own hammer." After Ivar queries Silas. 'Jes what ares we goin to do whens we gets back Silas?"

brvheart |

Do you really want to go back in the sewers again? Thought this would be a good time to set out to sea!

Oro-Tu |

Oro-Tu doesn't seem fazed by the treatment of Bonegnaw. The creature is as good as dead to him. But he does keep an eye on the wereshark, frowning as he does, knowing what lies underneith.
"Ivar any good with the fist? We could go to the place of the Skull. I have never fought a ghost but am willing to try." He makes a half-grin at the thought. "Or to sea, whichever. What purpose to sail away, though? Are not most of the problems here?"

brvheart |

Leialoha and Oro-Tu-
The Tulita come to you with stories of problems on Kakeou Island.

Silas Frey |

Silas considers the options. "We don't know for certain that the children are safe. That's my concern at the moment. We should go check in with Zalen and see if he is aware of anything. If not then we talk to the Lady Razor about her assistance getting to Kakeou Island. Things in town would have to wait."

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
It doesn't sound like this "children job" pays too much. Well, I said I was part of their crew. I guess we made enough money with Bonegnaw we can afford a little charity, and a little charity can make a lot of friends. Which we may need, specially if we end up on he wrong side of the dragoons.
As Ivar follows Silas to go check in with Zalen, he turns and shrugging, answers Oro-Tu
"I've been in a few tavern brawls, I was better than most of those wharf rats just because I was bigger, stronger and meaner. Don't know that I'd be any better than a man my size, especially if he's trained for it. As for the other choices, I'd always rather to be at sea than in a town."
Turning to Silas
"But like I said with the Bonegnaw job, Silas, it's your barbeque."

brvheart |

Zalen doesn't know too much, but the disappearances of the children seem to have subsided over the last several days. He will heal anyone who is still hurt. If you want to check out the ghost, it has been reported to have been seen on the docks late at night.

Silas Frey |

Silas looks to Leiahola and Oro-Tu. "What do we known of Kakeou and the issues there? Let's plan to go there, but let's go look into this ghost tonight which gives us today to head to the Broken Skull for Oro-Tu to fight, talk to Major Lawrence and start sorting out the crew. We'll have to leave the Sergeant for the moment. And have to ask Lady Razor if she can assist us getting to Kakeou."
To Zalen he says "Father, we have a new ship which when repaired it would be an honour if you could say a few words and ask that Quell smile favourably on our voyages upon it."

Zalen Trafalgar |

"Please let me know when it is finished for I would be honored to give it the blessings of Quell."
You will have to do a little gather information on the island. The good major can always be found at the Runaground. Now, I have forgotten who I was going to have Oro-Tu fight next! Will have to check it out again! It might even have been Aurora if she is up for it!

Oro-Tu |

Oro-Tu growls in visible upset, "Tell us of the island's problems."
Once known, he listens to Silas and nods, "Ghost, skull, whatever else and prepare to see to this island, sounds good to me. You should come to the skull also, Ivar. Though they do not permit my weapon or yours there."
At the mention of crew, he suggests "Perhaps take Montgomery along, if he is to captain, he might have a good eye for crew now that he is sober."

brvheart |

A tulita in common sailor clothes comes to seek you out. Tulita Joe wears the clothes of a common sailor but his dark bronze skin and tattooed face betray his ancestry among one of the tribes of the Razor Coast. With a big macaw perched on his shoulder, he approaches you, “Joe hear your name around the dock. You be those adventurers? They say you look for Joe. Well, Joe look for you too! Uncle be elder of Tulita tribe, and they have big problem. Some lads go missing and sharks a prowlin’ the bay in schools. Many say this because all you outsiders coming here to the Razor, but Uncle think that something bad coming, and not just Tulita in danger, but everyone. Big meeting between three tribes of Kakeou coming up and Uncle need help convincing other tribes that evil coming from taboo place and not from outsiders like you. Uncle need someone brave to help to find out what going on in place where Tulita cannot go.”

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
[I]not realy comfortable going into a place without Rhea here, but I'll take a look[/]
Ivar nods at Oro-Tu's invitation and asks
"tell me more about the fights at the skull, bare fists, no armor or what?"
as the group stops due to the interruption of the Tulita sailor, Ivar keeps shield and axe at hand in case of ambush, keeping a keen eye out.
perception: 1d20 ⇒ 17

brvheart |

The rules are simple: one on one, no weapons or armor of any sort and no spellcasting. Bare knuckle non-lethal combat.

Natalie Desmee |

The sailor that aproaches the group gets Natalies attention. Definitely a sailor. Not seen many of them as sailors... She listens to him proposition the group. "Adventurers? The tone of her voice and how she says the word hesitatingly makes you think she's trying it out before agreeing or disagreeing. "Don't know I'd call meself a adventurer. Sounds mighty important." Turning to Silas. "Ares we free to go pokin around into this?

Silas Frey |

Listening to Tulita Joe then Natalie, Silas agrees with Natalie. "Not sure we are adventurers, but we'll help. Will they listen to outsiders such as us?"
Silas nods at Natalie's question. "We need to sort with the Lady Razor that she can take us and we go tomorrow."

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
hmmm. outsider, been called that, been called; barbarian, raider, freebooter, rouge, scallywag, villain, vandal, arson, and killer. Never been called an adventurer before, course I ain't been called "helper of little children" either. That's what I like about joinin' a different crew, always something new. Might get to add pugilist to that list if I play my cards right.
while the others are talking to the sailor, Ivar leans over to Oro-Tu and asks
So when we fight in this skull place, will they let me keep my war kilt or any of the other magic items?

Aurora Shadowbane |

Alright, I am truly sorry if you were that offended by what I said. I said it half in jest and not meaning anything derogitory by it. If miss thing means that then I will stop using the term because calling any woman a slut is massively disrespectful. apology accepted, I hoped you didn't mean harm, but you can be quite gruff at times :), anyway no problem, still friends. Yes, if you talk on a public band radio or ham for awhile, you will learn a lot of seemingly docile phrases with underlying meanings, don't ever call a truck driver good buddy, he will punch you.

Oro-Tu |

"I think skirt OK if it doesn't give protection. Same with the rest. I didn't get to keep my protective ring, but kept everything else."
To Joe he nods, "Can speak to elders. My elder sent me for same reason."

brvheart |

You might want to not let them catch you using magic or magic items in the ring. If you do, don't get caught!

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
what have I got myself into, "Hey lets get the new guy drunk and beat up, it'll be fun"
Ivar chuckles at Oro-Tu's joke
"It's a war kilt, I always have breeches on under it, I wasn't speaking literally about being naked. I just meant Oh, never mind. So are we going to be fighting while the others are looking for the ghost or are we doing that first?

brvheart |

Aurora is planning on fighting. You should be all healed Ivar btw.

Oro-Tu |

"I do not know."
He looks around, [b]"Silas, should we go to Skull together, or do you want to talk with the Lady and look for information on the island?"
Oro-Tu motions to Ivar after Silas responds and leads the way to the Skull.

Silas Frey |

Silas smiles a little. "I would quite like to talk to the Lady so if you are keen to get to the Skull I could look into the island as well. If anyone else wants to come along that's fine, but I suspect the tavern beckons."

Silas Frey |

Silas nods to Natalie. "Shall we be off then?"
Natalie probably notices that Silas is a little more presentable than usual. He's not attempting to be quite as anonymous as he usually does when out in public. They head toward the docks to look for the Lady Razor.

Natalie Desmee |

"Aye let's get goin." Noticing how gussied up Silas is Natalie speaks her mind. "Yes all fancied up Silas. Me's gonna have te get prettied up for this?" She gives him a look that says the answer better be no.

Silas Frey |

"Not unless you want to be Captain. Part of this is about presenting us now we've got our own vessel. Bethany can be an ally. We could do with a few more of those around here given what we're going up against." He smiles, "Besides I know you don't want to be called a lady."

Natalie Desmee |

Shaking her head no Natalie replies. "No mes more for takin orders than givins them...as longs as I gets enough action. More allys are always a boon, like good treasure." She gives silas a stern look. "Has nuttin to do wit want...me isn't a lady. I dont's stick ma nose so far in the air mes can smell the weather...or count birds. But aye your right I doesn't like beins called a lady."

Silas Frey |

"Well I've always had to straddle the line because you never know where the money's going to come from. I've worked for nobles and scum alike... no wait scum covers all classes. Nobles and gang bosses. No wait again that could cover people I've met as well who purport to be nobility. Anyway you know what I mean. I don't call myself a gentleman. I'm having a hard enough time getting called heroic, but don't see anyone else but us stepping up to do something around here."

Silas Frey |

Silas smiles back. "Lady Bethany, in fact it was you I was looking for. While we now have our own ship we need to head to Kakeou to help the Tulita and urgently it would appear. I was hoping to take you up on your kind offer and hire your ship and crew to get us there if possible on the morrow."

Leialoha |

"The Tulita people are the heart of the Razor. Even though you are an outlander, the spirits of our land whisper that you were a hero to the Razor once and that in spite of the hardships our land has inflicted on you that you will have the opportunity again. This is no mere mercenary mission. Much as it pains me to admit to an outlander, our people need help. Of course we will compensate you for your expense, but can we not bestir you to throw your own heart behind our quest?"
Diplomacy (to assist negotiation): 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15

Oro-Tu |

Oro-tu nods at Ivar, "Ghost tonight, I think. Come, we arrive."
He leads Ivar into the Skull, waving ahead to show him the large crowd and fight pit when they get closer. "Silas set it up last time... So let us find Belok."
He goes to seek the brawler's help in getting a fight for the two of them.

Aurora Shadowbane |

so who is going to the skull with Ivar and Oro-Tu?
Hearing Silas and Natalie banter back and forth as the group parts company Ivar confirms with Oro-Tu,
"after we are done fighting at skull we are going to meet back up with them and go to the docks to check into this ghost, right?"
That would be me also, ans definitely we are going ghost hunting afterwards, been awhile, but i am damn good at it.
I am also wondering about that Toleda issue, sharks, not sure what that's about.

Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
well this is different, first crew I've been with that not only plans to get in a fight in a bar and winning, but plans on getting paid to do it, I hope it works out
Ivar follows behind the two pugilists, impressed that Aurora is fighting also. Ivar asks her half in jest
"good at the fighting or good at the hunting?"

brvheart |

So who is going to fight who? Oro-tu, let me know when you are ready for your next match.
