Bakji turned and yelled back to the spellcasters "Don't let them get close! Retreat and use your spells wisely!" he offered as he picked a target and fired.
Nicholas' unleashes a freezing ball of ice at one of the cultists to the west trying to flank them. Getting surrounded by them didn't seem like the healthiest option.
Your allies launch a volley of arrows and magic missiles to the group that is trying to flank by the right. The down one of the cutest and manage to injure another. Bakji and Nicholas kill one on the left just as Iona and Viktor kill one in front of them. So far, the battle seems to be favoring the group.
Reduced in numbers, but not in spirit, the cultists try to counter your assault. This time Viktor is unable to deflect all incoming attacks and two of the long handled blades reach his flesh. Bakji is able to dodge the attack against him, while Aleria and Anevia suffer glancing blows.
Viktor grimaces at the wounds he receives. Not a good start, two lucky blows like that. He spits blood and laughs. "Is that the best you have for me? I didn't realize I was fighting children!" He swings at the one closest to Iona so their combined blows can secure a kill.
Iona shook her head as she swung at the same target that Viktor did, after all if he could not lay them out on his own their joint attacks might.
"Please don't make them want to kill your any more than they already do Viktor." Iona requested.
Iona's strike was true, and Radiance pierced through armor, flesh, and bone alike.
Bakji looks over his shoulder back to the sounds of battle behind him. He cursed slightly. "Nicholas, focus your efforts on our Allies! I can handle this one!" he said before taking a step back, lining up another shot on the next target in front of him.
Nicholas too hastily tries to channel more arcane energy when he should have focused more on his aim and misses his target.
