As Bardos and Petronicus adopt what they believe are martial poses, Thorthal steps in and punches the big man. A bright light explodes in front of your opponent's face, and he blinks rapidly as his eyes water.

Could I please get Fort saves from Morgrom and Thorthal?
Morgrom Hellblade
"Sub-doo?" Morgrom looks at his sword then back at Haer Kul, "Swords don't sub-doo."
"Hey, ugly! Therez a hole in yer pants!" Morgrom continues to distract so Thorthal can punch away.
Aid Another: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

"Not ugly! You're ugly!"
With that witty retort, the woodsman swings his battleaxe at Morgrom's armour
sunder!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 201d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Morgrom's banded mail is damaged, but not enough to hinder him, and the foe maintains his grip on his slippery axe.
I still need a Fort save from Morgrom

Am I not flanking too? It should be +2 for each attack due to flank plus +2 for one of the attacks for aid another.
Yup. He included the flank, but not the aid, as far as I could tell.
20 points non-lethal done.Haer Kul

"Not stinky! You're stinky!"
The woodsman chops down at Morgrom in an effort to return him to his natural state of unconsciousness.
chop: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 221d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Although, it's only a glancing blow, Morgrom can't help but notice the power behind it.
Petronicus cannot get to Morgrom. How's Morgrom's health? His status bar is still 1st level.

"I appreciate that, Mr. Hellblade. It's the thought that counts."
Ignore my last post. Haer Kul will continue to observe the battle and wait for an opportunity to do something useful.

The first room contains a bed, dresser, small table, chair, and a large trunk. The trunk contains clothing obviously sized for Silam. The pillow on the bed has a strange, grey-green stain on it. Underneath the bed are a pile of woodcutting tools. In the pile of tools is a black granite key, with a carving of a raven on it. None of the other furniture is interesting, and there are no sources of magic in the room.
"Momma's" room contains a large canopy bed, a fireplace, a desk and chair, and a large dusty rug. A desiccated corpse lies in the bed, surrounded by dried herbs and flowers. The corpse is still wearing a nightdress and a necklace. Nothing else is interesting in the room, and there are no sources of magic. Haer Kul finds the dust in the room quite irritating in his nose and eyes.
Haer Kul
Haer Kul will look at the green stain and see if he can identify it the way he identifies potions.
Craft(alchemy) w/ inspiration: 1d20 + 8 + 1d6 ⇒ (10) + 8 + (1) = 19
Then search the furniture (dresser, bed, and trunk) for hidden compartments, although he doubts that Silam is that sophisticated.
Dresser Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Bed Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Trunk Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
"Interesting." He examines the key closely. Have we seen a raven symbol anywhere else in the town? He will take the key.
In Momma's room, Haer Kul blinks and sniffs, but tries to focus on the search. If the necklace looks valuable, he will take it.
He searches the desk and the fireplace for any hidden compartments. He looks quickly at the flowers to identify them and to see if they were likely gathered locally: knowledge(nature): 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (12) + 6 + (6) = 24
Fireplace Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Desk Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
When he's done, he leaves the room, and blows his nose with a great honk. Blinking, he bemoans Silam's housekeeping skills.
DM Rambler
Haer Kul removes the necklace from Mother Oddle's corpse. The flowers and herbs are of common, fragrant types native to the area.
He also believes that the raven was an emblem of the Arvarenhode family.
His other examinations turn up nothing of interest.
Haer Kul
"I suggest we leave Mr. Oddle bound while we search the rest of the orphanage. We can come back to question him later. If he is uncooperative, we can knock him out again, before untying him."
Haer Kul searches Silam Oddle for any interesting possessions.
"We should search the rest of this floor, no?"
Searching Silam: Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Remaining room on this floor: Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

"Mr. Hellblade, have you ever seen anything like this before?" He indicates the tumor, but is careful not to touch it. "It looks unnatural. I wonder if any of the others that had gone mad had something like this growing?"
DM Rambler
Nobody saw anything like the tumor on the madmen, and it's outside the experience of anybody in the group.
This was another disappearing post...
The only interesting thing in the outer room is the blackboard that Haer Kul noticed earlier. It appears that somebody has been drawing birds and wildlife on the board, but that they erased the middle for three new drawings: the raven key from under Silam's bed, a ruined manor, and something that looks like a cloak. The last item has an upright hood or cowl in the center, a main section that radiates from it, with three hooked protrusions at the ends.
Haer Kul
"Mes Dieux, this is interesting, no?
This crude drawing of a cowl, perhaps it represents the Hooded Lord? Does this look like some sort of religious symbol to anyone?" Knowledge(religion): 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (14) + 6 + (5) = 25
The manor I cannot tell whether it is meant to look like the one in the town, or another one." Does it resemble the one in town, or is it too undetailed to tell?
"At least we have the key. That part is clear."
"Shall we finish searching downstairs while Mr. Oddle is tied up?" We will gag him too. "We can come back and question him when he has had time to consider things."
Haer Kul will close the door to Momma's room. "Maybe he will be less angry if his Momma doesn't appear to be threatened. Also, dusty."
