Nope, Orryn would not count as flanking for you, since the line between the center of Llath's square and the center of Orryn's don't go through the opposite borders of the devil's square. Sadness. :-(

Opal notices a bag wedged behind the shield. She opens it up and finds a book. It appears to be a journal of one of the ancient cult's slaves and describes recruitment, enslavement, and assault of Sarenrae's crusaders on the citadel. The book is written in common.

Opal opens the door. As she touches the door, it is very warm. Heat is radiating from inside of the room. The red glow of lava dimly light this room. Molten rock thread the hall's floor. Four enormous forges are spaced evenly in the room. A circular ramp rises gently in the center of the room. You notice a dwarf working on the forge to the east.

The dwarf appears to be unarmed, except for the hammer he is using at his anvil. Also, no chains. He appears to be humming a tune poorly.
