Octavius gets the feeling that he shouldn't be here. He eyes Hafshi, and suddenly, visions of horror go through his brain. He remembers growing up, and sees his mother being ripped limb from limb from Hafshi.

Orryn went already, so he can't ready an action until his turn. the * means you have an action. I need to blow the steam vents at the end of the round, so please wait until you have an *.

    Can I gauge how deadly walking through said lava would be? Zefeni isn't all that good at jumping.

    How far are the lava paths, how hard (Acrobatics Roll) would the jump be and would you absolutely die if you failed?

    Gritting his teeth, Zefeni leaps across the stream of lava.

    Though his armour weighs him down, he still manages to clear the stream. "Looks like I can fly all on my own," he says, while moving forward to T12. He then tries to haul himself up onto the alter - to S12 - to hem in the caster.

    I don't think that would stop the acrobatics over the lava, but moving does provoke, and since it wasn't an acrobatics to escape the beetle, it is still a threatened square, and i like run on sentences

    Dex jumps from X13 across W14. Unfortunately, he doesn't have good ups. Needs to make a reflex save DC 20.

    Ok, the way I’m reading it then, the beetle needs to make a DC 15 Fly check or it fails to Hover, and consequently would fall into the Lava.

    I knew when I rolled that I was burnt toast. I guess it could have been worse, could have been 30 damage. I used to be a mighty adventurer like you until I fell into a stream of lava.
