Sorry for the delay everybody! Noticed a mis-type, Skum 1 is the one that stood and readied it's net

As Kalagan charges at Skum1 at L:10 his fellow facing Pyre takes a stab at him as he rushes past
AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
for 1d8 + 3 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 3 = 7

Then the Skum he charges hurls it's net
Readied net: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
entangling the Paladin. Even so, the warrior drives his blade into the burned Skum dealing some serious damage, although not quite disemboweling the creature.

Desula steps back, missing with the shocking bolt that he throws.
Desula, you would provoke an AoO if you move away, but you can 5' step without risk. Lemme know if you want to provoke

Thoyoitu keeps doing his thing.

Botting Pyre
Pyre then viciously attacks the skum on before him
1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 8 - 2 = 7
for 3d6 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (4, 6, 6) + 5 + 3 = 24
but the trees halt the attack.

Finally Goblin 4 springs into action once again, attacking Kalagan with a low slash
blade: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
for 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 4 damage

And the Skum takes another stab at his attacker
Stab: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
for 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 2 = 6 4 damage

Bite: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
for 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4 2 damage
10 total
before stepping back from the Fiercefoe!

armor as DR wrote:
1 Brilliant energy weapons bypass any DR provided by armor. In addition, DR from armor is halved if a creature is grappled or entangled, and does not apply when a creature is helpless or pinned.

A net's maximum range is 10 feet. If you hit, the target is entangled. An entangled creature takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty on Dexterity, can move at only half speed, and cannot charge or run. If you control the trailing rope by succeeding on an opposed Strength check while holding it, the entangled creature can move only within the limits that the rope allows. If the entangled creature attempts to cast a spell, it must make a concentration check with a DC of 15 + the spell's level or be unable to cast the spell.

An entangled creature can escape with a DC 20 Escape Artist check (a full-round action). The net has 5 hit points and can be burst with a DC 25 Strength check (also a full-round action).

DMG: 1d6 - 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 = 1

Taking a tactical retreat after the stab at the filthy skum.

5 foot step away and falls back to N18

Crit rules:
In this alternative system, when a creature threatens a critical hit, it does not make a critical hit confirmation roll. Instead, the target of that critical hit makes a critical defense check instead. A critical defense check is 1d20 + a bonus equal to the creature's DR + the creature's Dexterity modifier (up to the maximum Dexterity bonus allowed by any armor worn) + the sum of any deflection and shield bonus to Defense.

Critical defense check bonus = creature's DR + Dexterity modifier + shield bonus to Defense + deflection bonus

The DC of the check is based on the die roll for the critical threat. It is further modified by the base attack bonus of the attacking creature, how many critical feats the attacking creature has (if any; 10 maximum), and a bonus relationship between the size of the attacking creature and the target of the critical hit, if the attacking creature is larger than the creature it attacked.

Critical defense DC = critical hit roll + 1/2 attacker's base attack bonus + 1 for each critical feat + 1 for each size category larger attacker is than target

For instance, if a Medium creature is hit with a crossbow fired by a Medium 6th-level fighter with two critical feats, and the critical threat attack roll is a 19, the target of the potential critical hit makes a critical defense check with a DC of 24 to reduce the critical hit to a normal hit. If the target is wearing +1 leather armor, has a Dexterity of 18, and is using a +1 buckler, that target would have a +9 bonus on the critical defense check to reduce the critical hit to a normal hit. On a roll of 15 or higher, the critical hit is reduced to a normal hit, and the target takes normal damage for the hit (which is reduced by its DR). If the creature firing the crossbow had rolled a 20, the target of the critical hit would need to roll a 16 or higher on its critical defense check to reduce the impact of the critical hit, making it a normal hit.

On a failed critical defense check, the target of the critical hit takes the damage for the critical hit. That damage is still reduced by the target of the critical hit's DR.

TL:DR:

When a creature threatens a crit, the target of the crit makes a Defence check
(1d20+DR+Dex+Shield+Deflection)
Versus a DC (Crit roll + BAB/2 + 1(per Crit Feat) + 1(per size category larger)

You deal the additional Crit damage as normal and additional wounds based on the Crit Multiplier of the weapon. If you roll an 18 with a rapier, you threaten, and your DC is 18+bab/2 and you deal anadditional 1d6+mod +2 wounds for the X2 multiplier.

You crit with a Greataxe you deal an additional 2d12+2(mod) + 3 wounds for the x3 multiplier

The Half-Orc's attacks will kill both the Skum and the Goblin.
both times that a crit was threatened, the target died.

Des, sorry, i didn't fix the headings on the attacks at you, the Trident went at Pyre, and while the Skum missed you with his gnashing jaws, it got you with a Claw attack. =]

All opponents are considered to have total concealment (50% miss chance) against the blinded character. Blind creatures must make a DC 10 Acrobatics skill check to move faster than half speed. Creatures that fail this check fall prone. Characters who remain blinded for a long time grow accustomed to these drawbacks and can overcome some of them.
Stunned:
A stunned creature drops everything held, can't take actions, takes a –2 penalty to AC, and loses its Dexterity bonus to AC (if any).

Attackers receive a +4 bonus on attack rolls to perform combat maneuvers against a stunned opponent.

Current Status Affects on Bugbear: -4 to AC, no Dex mod, All Creatures are Invisible to it, Perception based on sight auto-fail and +4 to CMB versus creature
- It takes a 6 to hit, DR from armor is halved, and it cannot see nor act.

Victor shanks the Goblin. It deals damage and...
fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 induces 2 more rounds if sickness. Your blade is no longer diseased cause you finally damaged it, and you will take another standard action to re-apply.

Pyre attemps to cut the bugbear in half.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 7 - 1 = 24
Damage: 1d12 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 3 = 10

Sigh and the dice roller still hates me for damage.... Your vigor goes down before you gain wounds right?

After the Half-orc dispatch the skum and goblin near the cave mouth, Pyre takes a shot at the Bugbear.

Desula, You can't 5' step and more in the same turn, but you can Withdraw since you missed it's no loss

The bugbear takes a nasty wound, but is still up.

Then it 5' steps back.

dodge bonus, so its to defense.

I'm at work, so no map update till tonight...

Victor, do you want to flank the goblin?

Pyre hits the bugbear again.

But, Skum2 runs, withdraw action and it goes off-map into the trees.

Goblin is less intelligent, and doesn't realize that discretion is the better part of valor, not that its valorous...
slash: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
For 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 misses victor.
...nor is it accurate...

The bugbear's vision clears, even as it's body fails to respond, but it's cruel eyes lit over the field and it seems to be planning.
