I believe that this is the second time he will have gone to Tian lands. THe first was to get the help of dwarven monks against the demonic hordes.

Don't feel bad. I had a full day of teaching yesterday. I then had about a 2 hour Master's Thesis reading and approval and then had to teach for another 2 hours.

This past Saturday my right right started giving me some issues. I thought it would be getting better but today I went to the Urgent Care and the Doctor has made an emergency appointment for tomorrow afternoon at NM Eye Associates. The Urgent Care doctor thinks that my retina may be detached but wants the specialists to take a look at it.
I will keep you apprised of the situation.

On Wed after some tests, and 4 hours at the Drs, there is good and bad news. Good news is that there is no retinal detachment. The bad news is that there is blood built up in the eye which will require eye surgery on Nov 1.

Trying to catch up on posting.

Ick, though I'm glad to hear there's no retinal detachment. An old boss of mine had a son whose retina came detached twice. I still have nightmares about the stories she told me. Good luck with the surgery, my friend.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday folks, the day got away from me. I've PM'd Kyroden to see if he's still with us. Now that the bad guys are on the map, everyone should be able to post actions for this round. :)

Had a follow up yesterday. Doctor is happy with how the eye is healing but there is still some swelling in the eye so vision is still a bit blurry in the right eye until that goes down.

After two PMs and going on three weeks now without any posts, I'm going to write out Kyroden Hawkstorm from the adventure. This is only the third PFS game I've run, and the first where someone has appeared to drop out mid-game. If there are any experienced GMs out there, let me know if I'm not allowed to do this or if I'm violating some sort of rule. Thanks!

I had to do this for a MotFF run during GD session 1. I gave it less time than you did (one week after the outages, another week of not responding to PMs). Technically if they don't complete 1/3 of the scenario you don't owe them a chronicle either.

I got in trouble for not doing that. We were in the middle of a combat for a module, not a scenario, and I kept the person in the game because it was the middle of a big fight.

Yeah, I hate to do it but considering that we are all on an accelerated schedule here I think closing in on three weeks is an excessive amount of time not to hear a peep from the player. And we weren't nearly 1/3 of the way through before he dropped out. Thanks for the feedback guys.
